Work Text:

“Thanks for inviting me, Aruto.” A well dressed man in a fedora said in gratitude as he and a man in neon green sneakers, black pants, and a hoodie entered an establishment.

“Hey, you’re an official Legend Rider, now. How could I not?” Aruto responded, patting him on the back.

The place was nothing like what the outside would’ve had you believe.

It was a dark blue-navy giant room, and I mean GIANT. Ballrooms couldn’t do it justice.

There was a disco ball at the top, some counters for food and drinks, games all around, as well as a giant stage.

This was Club La’Rider.

As it says at the top of the door in neon magitek lights.

“Well look who’s here.” A voice said cheerfully.

“Ah, Sento!” Aruto greeted, shaking the hand of a man in a brown coat.

“Nice to see you again, Aruto.” Sento smiled at his fellow tech based rider. “Oh, you must be Touma.” He greeted, shaking the novelist’s hand.

“A pleasure. You’re Build, right?” Touma smiled, excited at meeting more of his senpai.

“Yep.”

“So...what is this, then?” Touma asked. “Aruto just told me this is where you guys hang out. But I thought you only did that for crossovers and the like.”

“Oh, we still do.” Sento answered, gesturing for the two to follow as he walked off. “But we also get together in between adventures. It’s nice to hang out with people who’ve been through similar things to you and share an occupation.”

“Makes sense.” Touma noted. “So how did you and Aruto meet?”

“Oh, we met when, a couple years ago, there was this whole thing, and basically Ark had revived and combined with Evolt somehow.”

“Isn’t Ark an AI?” Touma asked, confused.

“He apparently fused with him through the EvolDriver.” Sento explained.

“Yeah, it was a real pain. Even with Zero Two, I had significant trouble.” Aruto said. “Evol-Ark had a real nasty EVOLutionary ARK!” He jumped onto a table. “HAI!”

“ARUTO JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, NAITO!” He yelled, pointing at Sento and Touma.

“...Boooooo!” A few voices sounded.

Aruto sulked, getting down.

Sento patted him on the shoulder. “Anyways…”

“Yeah,” Aruto perked up. “It took Build Genius and Zero Two working together to figure out how to defuse them and destroy them for good...for now.”

“...For now!?” Touma asked, shocked.

“Yeah, a lot of times old villains get revived for crossovers.” Sento shrugged. “Should happen to your enemies one day.”

“...” Touma sat down in a chair.

“Hey, it shouldn’t be for another few years. When’s the next anniversary of Ichigo’s first outing?” Aruto asked, trying to up the mood.

“...This year.” Sento said blankly.

“...”

“...”

Aruto sympathetically pat Touma on the head as the writer put his face in his hands.

“If it helps,” Another voice interceded. “They’re usually pretty easy to kill, cause they’re just cannon fodder for the big bad to use before the final battle against him.”

They looked and saw a man in black with a magenta undershirt and camera.

“Pink…?” Touma asked.

“Magenta.” Tsukasa corrected, pulling Touma’s hat over his face.

“Oh hey, Tsukasa, where have you been?” Sento asked as Touma righted his hat. “Sent you an invite, didn’t think you got it.”

“Was out having an adventure that made sense, for once.” Tsukasa said.

“Oh? What world was that in?”

“This one, believe it or not.” Tsukasa answered.

“Oh? Which one was that?”

“Hey guys! You made it!” A young boy in his early twenties with various clock motifs in his outfit greeted.

“Sougo!” Aruto smiled happily, getting up.

“...do I know you?” Sougo asked.

Aruto face faulted.

“...Oh, you must have confused me with my AR counterpart.” Sougo said.

“...I am so confused.” Aruto said.

“The one you met was from an AR world within an AR multiverse.” Tsukasa explained. “Not unlike my original journey.”

“I’m the Sougo of this world, the main world.” Sougo explained.

“Ah!” Aruto said. “I get it.”

“Good.” Tsukasa said before giving an aside glance. “Now let’s never speak of this again.”

“Oh yeah, Tsukasa, I heard you went on a ruthless rampage across a pocket dimension holding several high schools hostage. What was up with that-” Sento asked.

“Never happened.” Tsukasa cut him off. “Everything’s fine. Sougo and everyone else are fine. Nothing bad. Ever. Happened.” He glared at Sento. “Ever.”

He then glared at...you, the reader, before walking off.

“...Geez, what’s up with him?” Sento asked.

“Some dude named Toshike...something, wrote a screenplay where he starred in it, and Natsumi kept demanding he get a job to finally pay for his film fee and groceries, and people have gotten the wrong impression of him because of it ever since.” A man with light brown hair came up to them, sipping a glass.

“Ah.”

“Yeah. To be fair, he was a former Shocker leader.” The light brown haired man said.

“Fair, but this isn’t really something he’d do anymore. I can’t imagine how irritating it is.” Sento said, getting his own drink.

“Yes. How...unfortunate for him.” the man said, and Touma could’ve sworn he saw the briefest of smirks on him.

“Ooook, so...who’re you?” Touma asked.

“Wataru Kurenai. Fangire King.”

“Oh! Fangire King?” Touma immediately went to bow but Wataru stopped him.

“We…we don’t do that here.” He explained gently halting him by putting up his hands.

“S-sorry.” Touma gave a light bow in apology.

“You don’t have to apologize.”

“Sorry!” Touma grinned nervously.

Wataru chuckled. “So you’re the one who just stopped the end of the world and brought everyone back through writing. Impressive.”

“Thanks.” He said, nodding. “It’s an honor to meet you, your majesty-er-senpai-er-Senpai Majesty?”

Wataru chuckled. “Just Wataru is fine. You’re among friends here.”

“Sorry.” Touma said. “So...what do we do here?”

“We hang out, play games, catch up, eat food, drink. Whatever. Heck, we often spin a wheel to decide the big event activity.”

“Oh, sounds fun!”

“It often is, but sometimes they get a little brutal and you end up with most of us black out drunk or unconscious from a fight, or both.” Wataru laughed.

“...eh?” Touma sweat dropped.

“Relax, you’ll be fine.” Aruto said, patting him on the shoulder. “I doubt that’ll happen.” His phone rang. “Oh, hey, gotta take this.” He took out his Risephone, putting it up to his ear. “Izu? Hey, how’s it going?” He said, walking off.

Wataru patted Touma on the shoulder, gently nudging him towards the center. “Don’t worry. I’m sure everything’ll be fine.” He said with a straight face.

“...” Touma sweat dropped. “Oh boy…”

Touma was wary, holding his driver close as time went on. He looked around. There were twenty one other people here. Sento said the Showa Riders tended not to show up sometimes, due to being busy with their own lives and still battling evil in their old age, most especially Ichigo, due to him still fighting Shocker all over the world.

This time, they had begun an event. An activity of this get together. This time, everyone who had a henshin jingle was comparing their longest.

Sougo had gone up, and now it was Aruto’s turn. As Aruto prepared to activate the driver to play Zero Two’s transformation announcement…

RUMBLE!

“...of course…” A few of them muttered.

Everyone immediately went outside.

“...What?” Touma asked, as a portion of the city had been destroyed. As usual.

Everyone was looking around for this new enemy, when suddenly...an evil laughter erupted.

…one that sent a chill down Sougo and Sento’s spines.

What floated before them...was a horrific hybrid of Kamen Rider Black Hole Evol and Another Grand Zi-O.

This would probably best be described as some kitbashing of Grand Zi-O, Evol Black Hole, and Another Zi-O’s parts, but with the general color scheme of red and gold, and the rider statuettes replaced with ones of the main antagonists or final bosses of the Riders.

N Daguva Zeba. El of Water. Kamen Rider Odin. Arc Orphenoch. Joker Undead. Orochi. Death Imagin. Bat Fangire. Apollo Geist. Utopia Dopant. Dr. Maki, the Kyoryu Greeed. Sagittarius Zodiarts. Evolved Gremlin. Kamen Rider Jam. Gold Drive. Great Eyezer. Gamedeus Chronos. Kamen Rider Evol. Another Grand Zi-O. Ark Zero One. And finally, Kamen Rider Storius.

“Greetings, Riders.” A horrible mangled mess of sound that was somehow a voice declared as the being floated down. “Sento, Sougo. A pleasure to see you again.”

“Evolt!”

“Hiryu!”

“Both, and neither.” The being said. “I...am Another Zi-Volt.”

“Another…Zi-Volt?”

“I am the culmination of all riders’ main enemies from Heisei onwards. I was-”

“Created by Shocker, right?” Emu guessed.

“...what?” Another Zi-Volt tilted his head.

“Created by Shocker!” Emu repeated.

“It’s always Shocker.” Wataru added.

“What, no! It wasn’t Shocker!” Zi-Volt protested.

“You sure? How do we know your creator wasn’t somehow tied to it?” Tsukasa asked, everyone snickering.

“I AM NOT RELATED TO SHOCKER!”

“Foundation X, then?” Shotaro guessed. “Haven’t seen them in a while.”

“Yeah, and to be honest, it would make sense for them to be the new Shocker.” Emu agreed. “Especially since they did have a good sendoff with Takeru and Hongo’s team up.”

“No, I am not with Foundation X!” Zi-Volt said.

“You’re a manifestation of our enemies’ hatred, then?”

“No! Well, yes, but...sort of, I…” Zi-Volt growled. “Doesn’t matter! I am here to enact vengeance upon all of you!”

“Oh no…” Tsukasa said sarcastically.

“What!?”

“Oh nothing. You were monologuing, right?”

“No I wasn’t!”

“You were about to.”

“...Maybe.”  Zi-Volt muttered before he growled. “Enough!” He blasted them with a huge energy dragon…

Which ran right into an Aurora Curtain, said wall breaking apart as a large flash appeared…

And everyone was in their final forms.

Ultimate Kuuga.

Shining Agito.

Ryuki Survive.

Faiz Blaster.

Blade King.

Armed Hibiki.

Hyper Kabuto.

Den-O Liner.

Kiva Emperor.

Decade Complete. (Wait, shouldn’t he have Decade Complete 21-)
(SHUT UP!)

W Xtreme.

OOO Putotyra.

Fourze Cosmic.

Wizard Infinity.

Gaim Kiwami.

Drive Tridoron.

Ghost Mugen.

Ex-Aid Muteki.

Build Genius.

Grand Zi-O.

Zero Two.

Finally...Xross Saber.

“Ah...a fitting final battle.” Zi-Volt smirked. “This is exactly what I wanted...all of you, against all of me. You at your strongest, me at my-what the hell is that?”

“What’s what?” Saber asked.

“...That.” Zi-Volt pointed to him.

Saber looked down at his body. “What of it?”

...And he suddenly felt all eyes on him. He turned slowly to see everyone staring in shock at him.

“...What?”

...Then he noticed…

“Oh...oh so these are your final forms!” Saber exclaimed. “Sweet! Awesome looking!”

“...Wait, why am I the only one with a recolor?”

Everyone face faulted, including Zi-Volt.

“That’s a good question!” Emu asked. “Why is it that way?”

“Don’t ask me!” Touma said. “I didn’t make it!” He paused. “Well, I sort of did, along with all of the Sword of Logos, but we didn’t make it this way! It just came out like this!”

“...And people said my final form was lazy when it first debuted…” Aruto muttered.

“What in the hell is this!?” Zi-Volt demanded. “I face an array of uniquely designed forms for my enemies’ peaks! Warriors of great power with a look befitting them! And yet...the newest one looks like he was dipped in glitter paint!”

“Hey!”

“Oh you know it’s true!”

Saber sulked.

“Yeah, not to mention it kinda throws off the color balance and idea of you, Blades, and Espada as a whole power trio with the whole primary colors thing.” Genius Build said. “It’s...honestly kinda terrible.”

“I wouldn’t call it terrible, per se, but-” Ex-Aid Muteki said.

“Yes it is.” Tsukasa and Shotaro said, cutting him off.

“Y’know what, fuck this.” Zi-Volt said, floating away.

“Hey, where you going!?” Build Genius yelled.

“This was too much of an embarrassment, and the coolness is gone. I’m going home.”

“To Foundation X’s base?” Shotaro asked.

“WILL YOU SHUT UP!?”

Saber sulked, looking at his sword.

Touma sat alone in his bookstore, looking at Haoken Xross Saber. “...why were you designed that way?” He asked, as if expecting an answer.

“I don’t think the sword’s gonna talk to you.” Mei said, making Touma yelp.

“Mei! ...Did I forget another manuscript?”

“No. Just saw you sulking.”

“Oh…”

“Why is it like that?”

“I thought you liked it!”

“Well, yeah, you kinda have to marvel at a cosmic sword thing, especially when it arrived in your hour of need, but now the majesty’s kind of...worn off.”

“...” Touma sulked.

“Well, I mean, it’s not like you could use its reality altering powers to just...I don’t know, change its design, right?”

Touma perked up.

“...Touma?” Mei asked, concerned.

“Be right back!” Touma grabbed the sword, getting out of his seat and running out from behind his desk.

“MAKE SURE IT ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD!” Mei called out.

Touma went to an empty area near the city, holding Xross Saber in his hands, as well as a blank book. “Alright...here goes nothing.”

He thought. “Ok, I should probably make it red...but...what else should I do…” He put his hand to his chin, holding Xross Saber in the other. “I do like the cosmic theme...but would red go with cosmic…”

“Touma!” An echoey, familiar voice said.

“...Luna?” He quickly took out the Wonder Almighty Ridebook.

“Hey, Touma!”

“Luna! You...can speak through this?”

“Well, yeah.”

“But how?”

“I created this book that was able to fight on par with your lazily designed final form as a deus ex machina, and you’re questioning this?”

“...good point.”

“I sensed something troubling you. That, and I overheard your struggles.”

“I’m not as cool looking as the others, and they’re right!” Touma complained.

“They are.” Luna agreed. “Which is why I’m here to help.”

“But how?”

“Well, being a spirit doesn’t leave you with a lot to do, so I took up art.”

“...that seems awfully convenient.”

“So is me apparently having the ability to create something to help you beat Storius. I think convenience is something that should be expected with Kamen Riders.”

“Touche.”

“So shall we get started?”

“...Yeah. Let’s do this!”

“Zi-Volt!”

Zi-Volt turned around, tilting down his sunglasses on his lounge chair, seeing Aruto, Sougo, and Sento run up, drivers on.

Zi-Volt sighed, shaking his head, setting his sunglasses down and getting up. “Oh hey guys. You up for some green tea?”

“Oh I love green tea!” Sougo perked up with a smile, starting to walk forward before Sento smacked him upside the head. “Sorry.”

Zi-Volt shook his head. “You’re gonna need a lot more than this to stop me. But hey, at least that embarrassment isn’t around anymore.”

All three took out their trinkets, Aruto flipping open the “2” symbol on his driver, Sougo inserting the Grand Zi-O watch and tilting his driver, and Sento inserting the Genius bottle.

As Sento cranked the lever, Aruto moved his hands in an arc as if drawing out a 02 in the air, and Sougo got into a stance.

“HENSHIN-”

“WAIT!”

Everyone turned to see Touma running up with his Seiken Swordriver on.

Zi-Volt groaned. “It’s lost its spark again…” He turned to fly away.

“Wait, you’re gonna wanna see this!” Touma yelled.

Zi-Volt turned. “Oh?”

Touma brought out Haoken Xross Saber...only now it looked different. Way different.

The general design was the same, but the blue and red was replaced with a color scheme consisting mainly of warm colors, first in focus being a deep, scarlet red, along with some rainbow accents, the sundial being a brighter red with yellow-orange-rainbow outlines.

“What?” Zi-Volt looked on.

Touma inserted it into his driver...before pulling out a book.

It was a deep, scarlet red, about as large as Tategami Hyoujo Senki. The cover had golden and rainbow borders and depicted a knight riding atop a dragon, both in those same colors, with the title reading “ALMIGHTY XROSS DRAGON!”

“Oh…?”

Touma inserted it into his driver, then unsheathed Haoken.

[XROSS SABER~]

In a flash of light, Xross Saber was reborn.

This time...it actually looked different.

The bodysuit was red, white, and black, but with golden-rainbow gradient trimming separating them. Each of those was a bit more...angular, yet rounder. The chest itself looked like a dragon’s chest, albeit one that was more...royal looking. On his pecs in between the gold and rainbow of the trimming that separated the main 3 colors were dragon eyes. Rainbow dragon eyes. His abdomen looked like the top of a dragon’s maw.

The legs now wore slim, yet regal looking armor, like that of a holy knight. His right greave was red on the right side, with a golden-rainbow gradient trimming separating it from the white left side. His left greave was black on the left side with a golden-rainbow trimming separating it from the white right side. Each of his boots now had a gem in the middle at the top front in rainbow colors.

He now sported bright red scarlet gauntlets with golden-rainbow gradient trimming, rainbow gems at the edges, his gloves now a pitch black.

He also sported bright red scarlet coattails with golden-rainbow gradient trimming.

On his right shoulder was a dragon’s head that was a deep scarlet red with rainbow and golden edges, as well as rainbow eyes. On his left shoulder was one just like that, but black instead of red.

He had an armor collar that was red, white, and black on those colors’ respective sides, rainbow dashes with golden trimming moving past it, almost like dragon horns/frills.

His helmet was black, with golden-rainbow flames as the cross that helped formed his eyes, except they looked more...radiant here, the mouth part of his face plate black, with a deep orange line going up the middle of the helmet leading into his sword crown, which resembled the top of Haoken in its new look.

“...Whoa.” Zi-Volt said.

“...Ok when did you get a redesign?” Aruto asked.

“Never mind that.” Touma said. “Let’s go!”

The others nodded, transforming.

Touma groaned as he sat in his chair at Bookstore Kamiyama. “That...was long.”

All twenty two Riders had teamed up to fight Zi-Volt, and it was a long ass battle.

Like, seriously, it was mid-day when it started, and it was the same time the next day when it ended.

Well, at least he looked cool.

“Well…” He looked to Haoken, smiling before setting it aside. “Time to get to work.” He got out his typewriter, put his hands to the keys, and waited for inspiration to come.

And he waited.

And he waited.

And he waited some more.

A few months passed...and he sat at his desk.

“Touuuummaaaaaaa!” Mei sounded, coming through the door. “Where’s the next manuscript?”

Touma made a sound of annoyance and whining. “Nothing’s coming…”

“What do you mean nothing’s coming!?”

“Nothing’s coming.” Touma whined. “I keep waiting for something to come, I drink milk, I go on walks, but nothing comes.”

“But your next one is due in…” Mei checked her calendar. “3 weeks!”

Touma put his head in his hands.

Then the door opened.

There came...Tsukasa.

“Oh, Tsukasa?” Touma said in surprise, standing up.

Tsukasa looked embarrassed to be here, but tried to put up a front. “Uh...I...could…” He tried to get the words out.

“...eh?”

“I could…” Tsukasa strained to get the words out. “...I could uh...use…”

Mei’s face brightened up as she realized what was happening.

“I could...use your help...on something.” Tsukasa said finally.

“Y-you’re...you’re asking me for help?” Touma asked in shock.

“Ooooh! A Legend Rider is asking for help!” Mei squealed. “Touma, a Legend Rider’s asking for your help!”

“..” Touma’s eyes widened. “EHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?”

Tsukasa placed a K-Touch-like device on Touma’s desk. “I saw what you did with your own final form. I’ve...been meaning to get an update to my own. Problem is, it keeps producing overly designed horrific stuff. Someone might’ve tampered with it, so...just...I need help. I was...wondering if you could help me with this.” Tsukasa said.

“...eh?”

“I can’t really go out there with Neo Complete looking like Gokai Silver designed it.”

Elsewhere, Gai Ikari sneezed.

“Plus, Natsumi refuses to let me back into the house unless I redesign that monstrosity.”

“Oh...oh I’d be happy to help.” Touma said, grabbing Haoken. “Let’s go outside.”

“ONORE! DIKEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDO!” A man in a coat and stupid fisher’s hat yelled out atop a giant enemy crab. “WHERE ARE YOU!?”

“He isn’t here.” Natsumi said, walking out of her house, a now grown up Kivala flying around her. “Kivala.”

“Of course~” The white bat flew around, flying into her hand.

“Henshin.” the two said, transforming into Kamen Rider Kivala.

“...”

“...”

“Well?”

“...Nah.” Narutaki shook his head. “‘Onore Kivala’ doesn’t have the same ring.” He looked down to his crab. “Let’s go, Eugene.”

The crab seemed to frown before turning away.

“...you named your crab?” Kivala asked.

“All pets should have names!” Narutaki defended himself, patting his crab’s head.

“NARUTAKI!”

Narutaki and Kivala turned to see Tsukasa with the Neo Decadriver on.

Narutaki grinned. “DIKEIDO!”

“Have you gotten yourself redesigned this time?” Kivala asked with a warning tone.

Tsukasa rolled his eyes. “Yes, honey. I have.” He brought out the Neo K-Touch, a slightly more advanced looking version of his old one before grabbing the Neo Decadriver and sliding it to a slot on his right hip, slotting the Neo K-Touch in place.

[FINAL KAMEN RIDE: NEO DECADE]

Cards converged on him.

The new form now sported a pearly white and black color scheme with magenta highlights, his helmet’s magenta now black, the barcode across his face that same shade of white, magenta eyes, and the magenta barcodes visible through his eyes leading into a crown holding a card with his own symbol.

His chest, instead of the X, now sported a shield containing nine cards spread horizontally across, each holding the symbol of the first nine Heisei Riders, one space above containing the symbol of Zi-O and one space below it containing the symbol of Build.

He had pearly white, magenta accented greaves and gauntlets over black boots and gloves, each having spaces to hold two cards.

His right gauntlet contained the symbols of W and OOO, the left having Fourze and Wizard, the right greave having Gaim and Drive, and the left having Ghost and Ex-Aid.

He also, for extra flair, had pearly white coattails with the twenty Heisei Riders’ symbols along the bottom edge in magenta.

“...Whoa.” Narutaki said, eyes widened.

Tsukasa smirked.

“...Ok you’re back in the house now.” Natsumi said.

“Good. This’ll only take a sec.” Tsukasa said, grabbing his Ridebooker.

“Wait what-”

[ATTACK RIDE: SLASH!]

His power now increased, Decade sent an energy slash at the crab, causing it to explode, sending Narutaki flying.

“ONORE DIKEIDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!”

Tink.

Decade smirked, canceling his transformation, Natsumi doing the same.

“So...where’d you get that?”

“Well…”

Touma smiled as he did his work. “Finally…”

Then he heard a knock on the door.

He looked and saw...a guy in a brown jacket, plus one in a leather jacket and purple undershirt.

“Hey, you’re uh...who’re you?” Touma asked, causing the two to facefault.

“Ah, well, guess you’re the new guy after all.” The brown jacket one said. “Kazumin, Kamen Rider Grease.”

“Gentoku, Kamen Rider Rogue.”

“Oh, you’re friends of Sento’s!” Touma said, walking over. “Nice to meet you. What can I help you with?”

“Oh, we saw the sign and thought we’d come by for business.”

“...What sign?” Touma went out and looked at the door, seeing a long, LONG line of people, and a sign that said “IF YOU NEED A REDESIGN FOR A FORM, COME HERE. ALL HENSHIN HEROES WELCOME.”

Touma’s eyes widened. “...eh?”

Mei peeked out from behind him. “SURPRISE!”

Touma yelped. “Mei, what’s going on?”

“Well, you seemed to do well in redesigning other riders’ forms, so I thought, since you’re still held up on manuscripts, we could use this to make some money.”

“...eh?”

Gentoku unzipped his jacket and opened it, his shirt saying “Crazy lady.”

“So let’s get to our customers, chop chop!” Mei said, skipping away.

Touma looked onwards.

“EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?”

End

Post credit scene

“So, Tsukasa, seems you’re doing well for yourself.” Wataru said, sipping tea.

“Indeed.” Tsukasa answered. “Back in the house, got a new final form design...it’s great, really.”

“I’m glad.”

“I do wonder, though…”

“Oh?”

“Who did come up with that idea to do that awful special?” Tsukasa thought.

Wataru held back a smirk as he looked at his laptop’s screen, the username reading “Toshiki Inoue.” He closed it. “Yes. I wonder.” He said with a straight face.

“Ah well.” Tsukasa walked off. “Talk to you soon, Wataru.”

“You too, Tsukasa.” Wataru said, waiting till Tsukasa closed the door behind him before opening his laptop again. He cracked his knuckles. “That was fun. Now...to begin the next one-”

“I KNEW IT!”

He heard the door slam as Tsukasa said that, the Fangire king smirking before turning around. “Oh? What?”

“You were Toshike Inoue!” Tsukasa said, pointing at him as he marched up to the king. “You wrote that god awful thing! You wrote me out as a heartless asshole!”

“Is it really that inaccurate?” Wataru smirked.

“Wataru, you know I haven’t been like that in years!”

“Oh I know.” Wataru said.

“Even back when I was with Shocker I wouldn’t have done something like that.”

“I know.”

“Then why did you do it!?”

“...I thought it’d be funny.” Wataru said with a smirk.

“...”

“...”

“...”

Tsukasa brought up his Ridebooker in sword mode.

“Ah, ah, ah.” Wataru said, wagging his finger. “I thought you said you weren’t a ‘heartless monster’ anymore.”

Tsukasa grit his teeth...before dissipating the sword. “I’m gonna get you back for this.” He turned around, walking out.

“Oh I’m sure you will.” Wataru said sarcastically. He turned back to his laptop, then saw a notification.

He opened it, and it was a message from Tsukasa with a picture of a trash can...and a figure of Kiva’s Dogabaki Emperor form, text reading:

“Your Extra Final Form is trash, even by kitbash standards. Tassel looks better than that.”

Wataru’s eyes twitched, his fists clenching, then he took a deep breath.

Before screaming.

END

Notes:

Don't worry, I don't actually hate Kiva Dogabaki.

I also am aware Xross Saber must've been a bitch to accurately paint the cosmic patterns. But the design itself is lazy. All toku suits are hard to make, but designing and crafting the physical suit are two different things. The DESIGN is lazy, and that is what people like me criticize.
