And then keeps coming back on Thursdays. He doesn’t seem to have much choice in the matter, actually. For the rest of the week, he’s stuck in the Empty, and Dean is left trying to figure out how to save him, how to talk to him—and how to get him out for good.

and maybe death really is just nothing. not black, not white, not heaven or he'll or any other iteration of an 'after'. maybe it's just nothing. but we have lived, we have loved, we have had life, and at the end of it all, if death truly is nothing, then i will not exist to care.
