Japan's Golden Duo

Chapter Text

Katsuki panted as he put his hands up, side stepping around the ring, not taking his eyes off his opponent for even a second. They were on their 3rd round, and the guy had a horrible habit of running every time Katsuki got even close to him. It was driving the blonde nuts, and he was just about at the end of his rope.

He had two more fights to go before the final fight, where he’d earn his 3rd gold medal, he just needed to knock this cowardly fuck out first. Glaring harshly at the person standing in his way, he charged at him once the man was near a corner. Usually, Katsuki doesn't run at his opponents, but this fight had already taken far too long.

The man tries to escape, but it’s already too late. Katsuki's on him in seconds, throwing punch after punch till he gets one good right hook that makes his opponent spin in his spot, eyes rolling as he collapses, down and out.

“Go, Kacchan, go!” Izuku yells from his spot beside the ring, cheering his husband on, one hand in the air while the other rests on his 7-month baby belly. Katsuki looks over at him in victory as the referee calls the match over and him the victor. “You did it, Kacchan, you won!” The greenette cries, hugging his athlete once the man comes over to them.

The blonde can’t help but smile fondly down at the hormonal man, cupping freckled cheeks before leaning in for a slow passionate kiss. Izuku melts against him, humming happily as he reciprocates the deep kiss, his tongue dancing with his husbands perfectly.

Eventually the reporters and flashing cameras forced them to separate, Katsuki groans as he's forced to answer their questions. Izuku stands beside him, smiling fondly up at the blonde, one hand rubbing soft circles over their unborn child while the other was held tightly in a collapsed large hand.

~That Evening~

“How are you feeling, Kacchan? You looked like you put some strain on your right shoulder during that last round.” Izuku says, waddling into the room to stand behind Katsuki, who was on their hotel room couch watching the reruns of today’s events.

“It hurts, but not too badly, baby. That cowardly fucker made me waste more energy chasing his sorry ass then kicking it.” Katsuki grunts, turning his head to the side to look up at his doting husband. He can’t help but smile lovingly at him, putting a hand over their baby, their little baby girl. “How about you? Did the squirt give you any trouble today?”

Izuku giggles, getting into position to rub his shoulders, working the tension out of the well-developed muscles.

“No, she’s been good, although when you won, she did give me quite the kick. Seems our baby girl was proud of you too.” The greenette coos, masterfully reducing the athlete to a puddle of relaxed goo.

“Of course, she already knows her dad is the best.” Katsuki says lightly, eyes closed with a blissful smile as he enjoys his massage.

They spend the rest of the night taking care of each other's aches and pains when a news report about the Olympics comes up on the TV making them roll their eyes.

“It’s a good thing I actually /want/ to compete, or I wouldn’t have come, all this shit is ridiculous. I don’t know why people are crazy about some of this, when there’s clear evidence, they’re wrong.” Katsuki groans, annoyed. With an exasperated huff, he turns off the TV, deciding to call it a night.

“Who knows, but at least tomorrow is your last fight and then maybe we can go home.” Izuku sighs, letting his husband help him off the couch and to their bed.

~Last Fight~

Katsuki was in the back, getting ready for his final fight. He couldn’t wipe the smirk off his face, he was so pumped! This was it, where he’d earn his 3rd gold, that he can boast about to his children for years to come.

“They’ll be ready for you in a second, Kacchan. Are you ready?” The pregnant greenette asks, waddling over to the pacing boxer.

“I’m going to win, and then when our kids ask about our time here, I’ll be able to show them all my medals with pride.” He says, placing his hands over their daughter, excited to welcome her into the world.

“Kacchan, we talked about this.” Izuku sighs, with a soft smile. “What if I don’t want to have any more kids?”

“Naa, not possible. Once you see our little bundle of joy, you’re gonna side with me and want a whole army of rugrats running around.” He smirks, leaning down to steal a kiss from his baffled husband. Just in time for the attendant to come get them. Katsuki gives him one last kiss, already telling he was winning over the smaller male over as they walk out onto the floor, the crowd cheering as the undefeated champ.

Katsuki enters the ring, his opponent already there, jumping from foot to foot, trying and failing to look confident, but the second the champ smirks smugly at him, the facade falls away.

“Kacchan, be nice.” Izuku warns, knowing exactly what the cocky blonde is up to. “You’ll get your hands on him soon enough; you don’t need to psych him out.”

“What, oh come on, baby, I’m just having a little fun.” Katsuki chuckles, rolling his shoulders.

“Ladies and gentlemen! It’s time to decide who will be the boxing champion of the Paris Olympics! In one corner we have the challenger, hoping to take home his first gold medal! While in the other corner, we have the undefeated Japanese champion, Katsuki Bakugou, going for his 3rd gold medal!” The announcer says into the mic, the crowd shouting out their favorite. “Fighters come forward and knock gloves!”

The duo does as they're told, Izuku watching anxiously from the side lines. He knows his husband will be fine, but that doesn’t stop the little ball of stress from making itself known.

Nothing happens at first as the fighters size each other up. All of a sudden, the challenger launches forward, trying to nail a left hook to Katsuki’s side, only to fall short, and earn a punch straight to the nose.

Disoriented, he tries throwing another punch, again hitting nothing. When he finally gets his bearings, Katsuki gets another hit on him, right to the side of the face.

Panicking, the challenger starts swinging aimlessly, trying to press Katsuki into a corner, only for the tables to turn once they make it to one. With a well-placed move, Katsuki side steps and pivots around his opponent, trapping the man in the corner instead.

The crowd goes crazy as Katsuki starts landing hit after hit, until, just before the bell rings, he lands the final blow.

The bell sounds as the challenger drops to the floor, out cold.

~6 Months Later~

“And then, I gave him my wickedest smirk and threw the last punch, wiping the floor with the lame extra. Declaring I’m the King and no one will take my crown.” Katsuki acts out, enhancing the drama of his last gold medal as he tells the story to their infant daughter in her crib, looking up at her father with wide, fascinated emerald eyes.

Izumi giggles up at her dad, smiling a gummy smile. Katsuki continues to act out the fight, oblivious of the fact Izuku was watching from the doorway, smiling affectionately at him.

‘Maybe having another kid in the future wouldn’t be such a bad idea.’ The greenette thinks.

“Already telling her fantasy stories, huh, Kacchan?” Izuku jests, smirking.

“Fantasy?! My stories are true, thank you very much!” Katsuki gasps, offended, and being overly dramatic about it. Izuku can’t help but laugh, walking over to his husband and child.

“Of course, silly me.” He giggles, giving Katsuki a soft chaste kiss, before picking up Izumi, kissing her forehead. “You’ll be a champion just like your daddy, I’m sure.”

“Damn right she will! No matter what she wants to be, she’ll be the best, because she comes from the best!” The blonde boasts, puffing out his chest in pride, a smug smirk on his face. Swiftly, he steals the giggling baby from her mother and walks out of the room, once again telling her a story of his victories.

‘Ya, maybe 1 or 2 more wouldn’t be so bad.’ Izuku thinks fondly, following after the 2 most important people in his life. ‘To think it all started with an angry kid walking into my family's gym and a gold medal.’

~THE END~
