Percy remembers her words in his mind. Kymopoleia had asked him to convince their Father to bring her back home.
“All I want as repayment for the help I gave you and your friend, is for you to convince Father to let me come home.”
He knows it will be hard to convince him, but he promised her. She had asked him to help her come back home, in exchange for her helping him and Jason against Gaea and she kept her end of the deal.
