It had been a while since Yan and Becca began dating in the mist, with their first encounter being Becca saving Yan from near death.
It was a typical trial; this time they were up against slasher in St. Anne's burial ground, and Yan was working on a generator beside Becca. There wasn't much conversation aside from the gen wiring when she connected the wires. As she hummed happily, the gen was at 85%, indicating that they will be able to go shortly. Yan had no idea that Slasher was about to snipe her until Becca rose off the generator and pushed Yan down onto the road. Allowing the knife to pass through both of them, who were lying on the ground
".. thank you, Becca." Yan thanked Becca with a warm grin, and they both giggled as they stood up from the road. Dusting the dust off their clothes. "You're welcome Yan, that was a close one." Soon enough. They were back on the generator, fixing and connecting the wires. As Yan looked up from the generator, she couldn't help but notice Becca. She looked stunning, especially with her blue eyes. She could almost feel her cheeks becoming bright red.
“Becca.. You look really, pretty.”
“I can say the same for you, Yan.”
