Summary
A deceiver can build all the walls they’d like in between their poker face and their unbridled emotion, but just as the sea meets the shore, someone must come along to conquer that facade. The threaded string of fate will lasso two broken people together and challenge them to surmount that barrier in hopes they will save each other. It takes a person well-versed in seclusion to know how to pull someone out of it, and by the way Aventurine’s body shakes underneath mine, I know I am close to helping him taste the ecstacy of freedom.
I just need him to understand how truly beautiful his existence—and our shared existence—is.
Or Aventurine isn't acting like himself and Reader has to use an... odd method to get him to listen. It works.
