Summary
Chris Bang is a few things: a 21 year old paramedic, freshly hired into a new firehouse with his godfather, and a victim of horrific irony. Which is how he finds himself couch hopping across West Side Chicago after a fire engulfs his godfather's home, with no more than a poorly packed box, the haunting memory of his godfather's pulse in his palms and the man himself, only still standing thanks to Chris' quick thinking and excessive training.
Chris is also - unbeknownst to him - extremely convincing. So when he tries to convince his godfather to talk to one of the lieutenants regarding their difficult housing situation, he doesn't expect the outcome to be moving into said lieutenant's home as soon as the same afternoon.
But things can't be perfect, and Chris couldn't get a perfect and sudden housing opportunity without embarrassing himself in front of Park Seolhwa - the lieutenant's goddaughter and the very woman who's shoes he was trying to fill on Ambulance 61.
Now she's a firefighter for the same house, and Chris can't expect to escape her any time soon. But the more the time ticks on, Chris finds he doesn't exactly want to.Series
