Work Text:
"I'm going to die," Moiraine gasps, tears streaming down her face. "Light preserve me, it burns. How could you betray my trust like this? I thought you loved me."
Siuan laughs. "Drink some milk. You'll be fine."
Coughing, Moiraine downs half a glass of milk. "Tairens are insane. I'm convinced this dish is the work of the Dark One himself."
"They’re called shai peppers for a reason." Siuan smirks. "Don't worry, I still love you. Despite your weak Cairhienin tongue."
Moiraine glares through watery eyes. "I didn't hear any complaints about my tongue last night."
Her already red cheeks darken further, scandalized by her own joke. Siuan cackles. "I really am rubbing off on you. You’ll be eating spicy food in no time."
"Please, no," Moiraine begs. "I'll eat you out a hundred times before I touch another shai pepper. A thousand times."
"Well, then." Siuan starts unfastening her belt. "Better get counting."
"Siuan!" Moiraine gestures to the plate. "Pepper! Mouth! Ow!"
"Oh, right." Siuan winces. "Later, then."
"Later," Moiraine agrees. "After you reward me for the taste bud torture."
“You were very brave.” Siuan kisses Moiraine indulgently, enjoying the lingering spiciness. “I’ll make a proper fishwife of you yet.”
