Chapter Text
The star looks to the future with a smile.
A wonderful, happy future, where there are no nasty bullies, no small wandering parasites called people.
Even if it meant sacrificing one planet and causing a great extinction on Earth. Yes, Earth suffers incredibly without them, but very soon it will get used to it. Sun is sure of it. After all, there are probably creatures that survived the exchange of nuclear bombs somewhere under its surface, so there is no particular reason to grieve.
Even more so He did not at all assume that they would destroy themselves faster than frost and hunger would do it.
Venus was a loyal ally, but as much as the Sun was flattered by it, she also greatly harmed his happy system. When Neptune described the incident to him from his point of view, Sun could barely restrain himself from laughing and keeping a surprised face.
After all, he has more eyes than the planets believe, and his hearing is millions of times thinner. He perfectly heard Venus's call for help.
And so, before the final exile, this rocky planet saw dozens of his happy eyes in front of it.
Sun wanted Mars to return to its orbit as soon as possible after that egregious incident, regardless of who it used to belong to, and for this it would need a new planet. So all the bad things will soon disappear from their sweet heads.
At one point, it even considered a Titan suffering from cold for this candidate, but Saturn gave him to Uranus in time. As if this giant suspected something... grh...
And that's how lucky it was, Jupiter just scared Ceres away, and he came to Sun by himself. However, it did not expect that the crumbs Pluto and Charon would arrive after him. But it turned out even better!
A double planet with almost no moral injuries in the past is an ideal candidate for an empty orbit. Were they exiled less than a century ago? He don't care! Sun got rid of people, which means it can set the rules by himself! Pluto will take its place again, and if the star wants to, then so will everyone else, from the Kuiper Belt to the Oort cloud!
And sooner or later Pluto himself realizes that the true joy for him is to be here, you just need to wait a little.
Looking lovingly at how his planets are rallying in the face of difficulties, Sun understands that the adaptation period is about to give way to the coming era of endless happiness...
