FEATURING THE CHARACTERS: vriska serket, a poltergeist
WRITERS: jesse, valentine, benky, nonagon
RATED 18
Vriska was totally not cowering in her closet. She was obscuring herself from the enemy that was making a ruckus downstairs as she prepared to totally ambush them and win of course. She is Vriska Serket, descendant of Spinneret Mindfang and she is not scared of some ghost that decided to invade her home after she killed some random lowblood that was a bit too vengeful. She doesn’t even remember who it was that is now haunting her hive but she definitely isn’t scared, because that’s what weak people do and she isn’t weak. She isn’t scared.
She was previously haunted by hundreds of ghosts! courtesy of her former lowblood acquaintance, but she got over that!

Yeah! She's not scared at all! Who cares if a random plate had been thrown across the room while she was looking at her palmhusk? She can take down that damn poltergeist no big deal! She's strong, she can do it!
She stands, emerging from her closet. Things are quiet...

Too quiet.

Suspiciously quiet.

She looks around her room. Not a phantasm of ghastly fabric around, not an inkling of ectoplasm in sight, not a glance of any sort of paranormal anywhere.
She swallows hard, properly stepping out of her closet, and beginning to move around her hive, checking every nook and cranny just to make certain it had left her be... for now.
...After a while of searching, her bloodpusher thumped with relief in her chest. Thank Gog.
W-wait, she means--
Ha! Thank GOG she didn't have to waste her energy on some lowly being who decided making a mess of her hive was the right thing to do! Of course! No being would DARE mess with Vriska Serket, decendant of the VICIOUS Spinneret Mindfang! They knew what was coming! HA!

...Suddenly, there was a buzz, and the lights she'd turned on flickered, before every light-bulb in the hive burst with mighty pops.

"Oh fuck, just my luck i suppose..." Vriska said, she had been having a run of bad luck and she hoped that it was nothing more than that, when suddenly, she saw it floating in the distance. A red dragon doll creepily floating above the recuperacoon she had left it in. Why was there a red dragon doll in her recuperacoon currently when she never had any interest in dragons before? Reasons. Reasons was why. Mind your own business. The thing hurled itself at her but thankfully it was made of plush so that was no problem at all, what definitely was a problem, the problem was the recuperacoon that soon followed after it, hurling itself in her direction, she ducked and rolled perfectly but now her recuperacoon was totally destroyed and there was goop everywhere! Fuck!!!!!!!! Where was she supposed to sleep now, huh poltergeist?? She felt like throwing something out of frustration, but stopped herself as she realized that's exactly what a poltergeist would do and she's not associating with their kind. She began to think of anybody she knew who could possibly deal with a poltergeist and then began to make some calls..

She began trolling Aradia. She figured a ghost would be able to deal with another ghost pretty easily. And she had a gift to give her too! It was a genius plan.

"Hey Aradia! I h8ve a gift f8r you. You should totally c8me t8 my h8ve so i can give it to you! 8nd while you're here you could also check on this thing I h8ve going 8n in my h8ve!"

"n0"

"Come on Megido!!!!!!!! We used t8 be buddies! Wh8ever happened t8 the good old days! And the gift I h8ve for you is t8ally awesome!!!!!!!!"

The poltergeist threw a doomsday device at her that she dodged with ease.

"i have n0 reas0n t0 c0me t0 y0ur hive. i d0 n0t have time for you."

The poltergeist exploded the device and Vriska died.
