Work Text:
“Mr. Luther, your meeting with the head of Terra Network Partners is about to begin in ten minutes.” His personal assistant, Ms. Teschmacher, reminded him.
“I’ll be there in time, don’t you worry.” His new power suit could only be fixed by himself after all, even his best scientists were still not competent enough for him to trust them.
After a few more bolts being tightened, Lex stopped working for now and changed into a more presentable black suit. He arrived at the conference room in time and a few moments later walked in the head of Terra Network Partners.
“Hello, I am John Palmer, but please call me J.P. A pleasure to meet you.” He held out his hand, and Lex shook it. He had a very good grip, and Lex could tell he was more than your average business man. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on what this J.P really wanted.
What happened for the next hour was boring business talks that he had done thousands of times before.
Finally, He thought as he got up to say goodbye to J.P. He held out his hand for another handshake.
Crash! A weird bug-like alien thing soared through the window and collided with the wall across from it. Its wings twitched for a few moments, before it started getting up. Before Lex had time to react, J.P summoned a creature made of purple smog. The creature tore the alien in half before disappearing.
“What was that?” Lex asked.
“The bug creature, I’m not sure. But the other one was made from Psycho Power.”
“Psycho Power? Sounds interesting.”
“I would be glad to tell you more about it, but right now there seems to be an alien invasion going on.”
“Then let me get on my power suit and put an end to it sooner.”
I wonder how effective Psycho Power is against Kryptonians. Even if it isn’t, I can tell my partnership with J.P will be fruitful.
