Summary
This story starts with the announcement of the results of the final match of the Autumn Election between Soma Yukihira and Akira Hayama, with Soma as the runner up and Akira as the Champion. Having wagered a Shokugeki that he would be an assistant chef for Akira’s next match Soma waits for the day he can have a rematch, but that day comes closer than he imagined with Akira, emboldened by his victory, immediately challenging Erina Nakiri for her position as the Tenth Seat of the Elite Ten with Soma as her reluctant assistant chef.
