Whenever you are with your best friends from Hogwarts Bill Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks, you always get into trouble, this happens since your school days. You may already be adults but some things never change. Today is no different. You’re spending the day away with them while your fiancé Narcissa welcomes at her house her sister Andromeda and her grandnephew Teddy for tea.
Narcissa, Andromeda and Teddy are in your fiancé’s drawing room sitting on the sofas. She smiles at them though deep down she’s sad at being away from you. She tries to pay attention to Andromeda as they chat. However, she’s constantly looking either at her watch or at the fireplace awaiting your arrival.
Soon it can be heard the sound of the fireplace and the green flames of the Floo network can be seen in the drawing room, making Narcissa and Andromeda stop their conversation to turn to the fireplace.
However you’re nowhere to be seen, only Dora, Bill and… a baby?
Narcissa’s brow furrows in confusion as she and Andromeda look at each other before Narcissa stands up from the sofa and walks to the two.
“Ah… what are you two doing here…? And with a baby? And where’s Y/N?”
Narcissa’s heart pounds in her chest now as she worries over your safety.
“Why did you bring a baby and not Y/N?! What happened to my fiancé?” she says, her voice strained slightly as she looks at the duo for answers.
Andromeda lets out a gasp and covers her mouth with astonishment once she realizes where you are.
“What’s going on, Andy?” your fiancé asks confused.
Her sister only nods in the direction of the baby. “Look carefully, Cissa,” she says softly in a comforting tone, as if to calm Narcissa down. However, Andromeda’s eyes clearly show her concern and slight shock.
Narcissa still furrows her brow in confusion, looking at the baby but not quite understanding why it seems familiar. However, she soon pales and her eyes widen in shock as it hits her that the baby is…
“Y/N…?” she now stares at the baby in shock, her mouth opening but no words coming out.
The baby, well… you, is crying since their arrival, making Dora rock you in an attempt to call you down.
“What happened? How did…?” Narcissa says, her voice not fully in control, the shock still evident.
While one of your best friends continues to rock you to try to calm you down, Bill speaks up.
“Well… Uh…” he stutters, clearly nervous with your fiancé. “You see, Miss Black… My twin brothers Fred and George were experimenting with some new products for their joke store and…” he nods to you. “As you see… It went wrong…”
Your fiancé sighs when she hears your other best friend’s explanation and turns to stare at you in baby form, still not having calmed down.
“Of course it had to be those two…” she murmurs to herself. She stares at you silently before she turns to Bill and Dora. “Have you managed to figure out any way to reverse this prank? Did they at least give you a hint?”
Nymphadora shakes her head, a somewhat ashamed look on her face and she tries (unsuccessfully) to comfort you while Bill says:
“They said Y/N will be back to normal in a few hours…” he says with a little uncertainty.
A frustrated sigh escapes Narcissa as she runs her hands through her hair before taking a few moments to steady her breathing and regain her composure.
“So I have to wait hours for my fiancé to be back to normal?!” she says, a little exasperated.
Meanwhile Andromeda takes a step forward with Teddy in her arms and gives him to Dora right before taking you from her daughter’s arms to try to calm you down. Andromeda rocks you gently, trying to calm you down using the same techniques she used with Dora when she was younger and with Teddy nowadays.
“Shhh… there there, dear… it’s okay… hush… we’re here… shhh…”
Narcissa watches the whole situation with a frown on her face, clearly annoyed, but still worried to see you cry so much.
But you still don’t relax, you just keep crying. Your little arms reach for Narcissa, making Andromeda smile. “I think she wants you, Cissa.”
Your fiancé blushes faintly. Narcissa steps a little closer towards Andromeda, staring down at you for a while, then finally giving in. Even if you’re no longer in your normal body, you’re still her fiancé, after all. She slowly and gently takes you in her arms, wrapping you in a protective embrace and rocking you gently as Andromeda was only a moment ago.
Her heart swells slightly as she holds your small form, a small smile appearing on her lips as you calm down instantly. Meanwhile, Andromeda, Bill and Dora look with surprised expressions at how immediately you calm down in her arms.
Narcissa rocks you gently, still feeling shocked at the fact that you, her fiancé, are in this baby form. However, she continues to hold you protectively in her lap, caressing your hair and placing light kisses on your forehead.
“Oh, Y/N…” she murmurs, her voice soft and full of affection.
Once you calm down in your fiancé’s arms, your little hands grab at Narcissa’s breasts, making her blush furiously, feeling extremely embarrassed not only by your action, but also by the fact that her sister and your friends witnessed your action.
“I think she’s trying to say she’s hungry…” says Andromeda with a smirk on her face.
Narcissa lets out a small, embarrassed cough as she tries to regain her composure. “Y-yes, I think she is…” she mutters, looking away so no one can see her red face.
Nymphadora and Bill stare at your actions. Bill looks away, probably embarrassed by it, while Dora looks like she’s trying to hold back from bursting into laughter.
Finally, however, it’s Bill who breaks the slightly awkward silence. “A-are you going to… Uh… feed her? Or?” he asks, clearly embarrassed.
“Are you out of your mind, boy?!” says Narcissa, her face red. “I’ll just warm up some milk in the fridge.”
As you reach your small hands again towards Narcissa’s breasts, Andromeda says jokingly, “Looks like she wants your milk.” she smirks.
Narcissa groans in embarrassment while Dora chokes up a laugh as she quickly covers her mouth.
“Oh for Merlin’s sake, Andy! We are not into that!” Narcissa exclaims, her face even redder now.
She leaves the room to go to the large kitchen, still carrying you. Once there, she gently lays you down on the countertop and uses her wand to heat up some milk in a bottle she has for when she occasionally babysits Teddy.
Once the milk is warm enough, she picks up the bottle and tests the temperature of it to make sure it’s neither too hot nor too cold. She then picks you up once more and cradles you in her arms.
“Let’s see if you’ll drink this, hm?” she mutters, guiding the bottle to your lips. She looks at you as you drink, a small, fond smile on her lips.
“There’s a good girl…” she whispers softly, gently caressing your cheek as you drink.
With you cradled in her arm and the bottle still in your mouth, she steps back into the drawing room, where the others are still chatting. She walks over to them, still gently rocking you slightly with her free arm.
“Well… I’m sorry to cut your visit short, but I suppose I have some things to take care of…” she says a little awkwardly.
Andromeda smiles and nods her head. “Of course, dear. I imagine you’ll have a very busy evening… Taking care of the little one,” she says with amusement.
Narcissa rolls her eyes at her sister’s subtle insinuations. She lets out a small scoff and shoots the older witch a warning glance before responding.
“Yes, it will be a busy evening,” she says in a somewhat annoyed tone, rocking you gently while you finish the bottle of milk.
Bill nods and Dora nods, trying to hold back a laugh again.
“We’ll keep our fingers crossed she will be back to normal soon,” Bill says, his expression a little worried.
She looks at Bill and nods her head. “Thank you, I appreciate it… And please tell those two troublemakers they owe me for this…”
Bill gives her a smile full of sympathy, understanding your situation. “Of course,” he says respectfully.
Dora looks at you a little worried, but still amused. “Good luck, Cissa.”
Narcissa nods her head in response to both Bill and Dora, a slight hint of annoyance still on her face. She continues rocking you gently as you finish drinking the bottle of milk.
“Yes… It seems I’ll need it…” she mutters, a small smile still on her face when she looks down at you, now finished feeding you.
“I guess we’ll be going now…” Andromeda says, a subtle hint of exhaustion evident in her voice.
Andromeda, Bill, Dora (holding Teddy) say their farewells before waving goodbye and stepping into the fireplace. Your fiancé says her goodbyes to them and watches them disappear in the flames, a small sigh escaping from her lips. She looks down at you, still cradled in her arms.
“Well… It’s just us now….” she whispers to you.
She takes a moment to just hold you close in her embrace, gently rocking you back and forth. Her expression is a mixture of worry and affection, her mind racing with thoughts about how long you will be a baby.
As she holds you in her arms, she notices you starting to get sleepy, your eyelids drooping slightly.
“Oh… are you getting tired, little one?” she says softly, a small smile playing on her lips.
Narcissa holds you close in her arms, gently rocking you back and forth, as she starts singing a soft lullaby, the melody familiar and soothing to Narcissa. As she sings, her expression softens, the melody bringing back not only memories of her own childhood, when her mother used to sing it to her to get her to sleep, but also memories from when she used to sing the same lullaby to her son Draco when he was an infant.
The comforting lyrics flow from her lips and she continues rocking you gently, hoping the lullaby will help soothe you into sleep. Her gaze is fixed on your little form, still taken back by the fact that her fiancé is currently in a baby’s form.
The soft lullaby seems to slowly have the desired effect on you, your eyelids becoming heavier and your breathing slowing down as you begin to drift off into sleep. Narcissa gently caresses your hair and continues singing softly, keeping you cradled in her arms.
The sunlight seeps through the window, gently caressing your face. As you open your eyes, you find yourself back in your normal form, lying in bed next to Narcissa. Her arms are wrapped around you protectively, her sleeping face peaceful and beautiful.
As you wake up, you feel Narcissa’s arms tighten around you, her face nuzzling gently against your shoulder. She is still asleep, blissfully unaware of your transformation back to normal.
Narcissa’s eyelashes flutter softly against your skin as she lets out a soft, sleepy murmur. Her body is pressed closely against yours, a warm and comforting presence in the still early hours of the morning.
Slowly, her eyes open a little, disoriented and groggy from sleep. She lifts her head slightly and blinks, her vision gradually focusing on you. A smile spreads across her lips as she fully realizes that you’re back to your normal self. She lets out a small sigh of relief and pulls you closer, burying her face in the crook of your neck.
Her voice is still a little hoarse from sleep as she speaks, whispering into your ear.
“You’re back…” she murmurs, the relief clear in her voice. Her fingertips gently caress your cheek, as if to reassure herself that you’re really in your normal self again.
She pulls away a little so she can look at your face more clearly, and a small frown appears on her forehead as she looks into your eyes and asks in a soft, almost uncertain voice, “Do you… remember anything, darling?”
You take a moment to think about her question, trying to remember the events of yesterday. The memories are indeed a little hazy, but there are a few things you recall: Fred and George’s joke gone wrong, being turned into a baby, and the way you felt in Narcissa’s arms. You admit that you remember only a few things. Narcissa listens to you attentively, her hand still gently caressing your cheek.
She nods and lets out a small sigh, clearly relieved that you don’t remember most of your time as a baby.
You smirk at the thought of another memory. “There’s also…” you bite your lip, trying not to smirk too much as you remember a little more. Narcissa looks at you, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, clearly picking up on your sly expression.
“What?” she asks, her voice holding a hint of caution.
You struggle to hold back a smile, thinking about the memory of you as a baby grabbing her breasts to indicate you were hungry.
“Well, I remember something else…” you say, trying to keep your tone as light and playful as possible. “I only wanted to be in your arms and… and that I grabbed your breasts to try to communicate I was hungry…” you burst out laughing.
As you mention the memory, Narcissa’s cheeks immediately turn a bright shade of red. She covers her face with her palm, a mixture of embarrassment and disbelief on her face.
“Oh, for Merlin’s sake…” she mutters, her voice slightly muffled by her hand. She lets out a soft, embarrassed huff and looks back at you, her face still red as a tomato. “You… You remember that part as well?”
You nod, a mischievous smile still on your face as you remember the moment you tried to indicate you were hungry. Narcissa let out a small, exasperated sigh, still clearly embarrassed by the memory.
“In my defense…” you say, trying to justify your baby self’s actions, “It was the only thing I could think of to try to communicate I was hungry.”
You’re still fighting back a smirk as you watch Narcissa’s flustered expression. She lets out another soft huff and mutters under her breath.
“I suppose that’s true… You could hardly say ‘I’m hungry’ in baby gibberish…”
However, your cheeky smile quickly melts into a fond one as you pull her into a tight hug.
The embarrassment on Narcissa’s face slowly fades as you hug her tightly. She lets out a small, contented sigh and relaxes against you, her arms wrapping around you in response.
“You have no idea how relieved I am to have you back, darling…” she murmurs into your shoulder, her voice soft and affectionate. She nuzzles her face against your neck, inhaling your familiar scent.
You tighten your arms around her, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for her taking care of you when you were transformed. You nuzzle your face into her soft hair, feeling a wave of affection and appreciation.
“Thank you, Cissy…” you murmur quietly into her ear, “For taking care of me… You were so patient and kind…”
Narcissa melts at your words, her heart warming at your gratitude. She pulls back slightly to look at you, her eyes filled with love and tenderness.
“Of course, my love… How could I not take care of you? You’re my fiancé…” she responds softly, gently running her fingers through your hair. She sighs and rests her head on your shoulder, her embrace tightening slightly.
As you hold her in your arms, the memory of her singing to you the previous night drifts through your mind, and you can’t help but mention it to her.
You break the comfortable silence and say softly, “You know… You have a beautiful voice, Cissy. I remember you singing to me last night… and it was so calming…”
Her cheeks flush pink as you mention her singing. She lets out a soft, bashful laugh, her fingers playing with the fabric of your shirt.
“You… You remember that?” she asks softly, her tone a little shy. She clears her throat a little nervously before speaking again, “I used to sing the same lullaby to Draco when he was a baby… It always calmed him down and put him to sleep, so I thought it might work on you as well…”
Your heart warms at her admission. You smile and pull her closer to you, your touch gentle and affectionate.
You murmur softly into her ear, “You were right… as always. It did work, and it made me feel very comfortable and safe…”
Your hand gently cups her cheek, your thumb caressing her skin affectionately.
A soft, warm smile spreads across Narcissa’s face. She leans into your touch, her eyes closing momentarily at the feeling of your fingers caressing her cheek.
“Good…” she whispers, her voice filled with tenderness. “I’m glad I could make you feel that way…” she nuzzles her face into the crook of your neck, her arms wrapping tightly around your waist. You hold her close, savoring the feeling of her against you. The memory of her singing to you last night still resonates, and you find yourself already looking forward to the day she will sing the same lullaby to your child.
You whisper softly into her ear, “When we have a baby… I’m sure the same lullaby will have the same effect on them…”
Narcissa’s breath hitch a little. She lifts her head from your shoulder and looks up at you, her eyes shimmering with a mixture of love and excitement.
“You think so…?” she asks softly, her voice filled with hope. Her hand instinctively rests on your chest, as if feeling your heartbeat. “I can’t help but hope it will have the same effect on our baby too…”
