Work Text:

The amber glow of the bedside lamp illuminates their bodies against the backdrop of the dark room. Their heavy breathing fills the air as his hands wrap around her waist and pull her closer, their bare skin pressed against one another, laden with sweat. Her tongue explores his mouth as his fingertips lightly dig into her hips, encouraging her to continue as he mirrors every movement. She moans into his kiss, her hands tangling themselves in his hair. He frowns in disappointment when she removes her lips from his, before turning her attention to his ear. He presses a soft kiss to the pulse point just below his earlobe. He smiles, sighing in contentment. He presses a kiss to her shoulder right before...

"Did you just lick my neck?" he asks in surprise.

She raises her head, looking at him. A small smile crosses her face as she laughs, bashful. "I am sorry. I do not know why I did that. It just felt... necessary." Her breath tickles his lips as she speaks, and he slightly lifts his head to press a kiss to them.

He laughs. "No, don't be sorry," he replies. "I liked it. It just... took me a little off guard that's all. And it also reminded me of the last time you did that."

Her brows knit together in confusion. It wasn't something she had done to him since...

There is a small silence as he waits for the penny to drop. A smirk crosses his face when it hits her.

'Oh!" Her eyes grow wide. "The sexual harassment seminar?"

"I do believe that was red light behaviour, Miss David."

She raises an eyebrow with a smirk on her face.

"You really want to talk about that? You do realise what we are currently in the middle of?"

He chuckles, tangling his fingers in her hair and bringing her down for a kiss. "I really don't think this counts," he whispers against her mouth.

"You do not think the fact that I am currently on top you – naked – counts as red light behaviour?"

"Firstly, we're in a relationship, and that meeting was for co-workers. Secondly, I specifically remember her saying that red light behaviour was 'deliberate, unwelcome touching,' and if the way you gripped those bedsheets earlier was any indication, I'd say that the touching was very," kiss, "very," kiss, "welcome." He raises an eyebrow at her, grinning. A blush creeps up her cheeks as she smirks back.

"I sense there is a third thing?"

"Thirdly, when it comes to you... nothing is red light behaviour in my book. God knows I thought about us doing inappropriate things every time we were in a confined space together."

"Like a shipping container?" she suggests, remembering the cold, dark box they were once stuck in mere months after they'd met.

"Elevator..."

"Storage closet at a secret government facility..." she offers up, her mind flashing back to the two of them, inches apart and her telling him to be quiet. It had taken every ounce of self-restraint she could muster not to kiss him, though she had so desperately yearned for it. There was a smile on his face as she watched him remember the same moment, and she could tell that he had been wishing for the same.

"Men's bathroom." Her nose scrunches as an amused look crosses her face. "Okay," he continues, "maybe not the men's bathroom... but the point is, back then being close to you drove me wild."

"And now?

"And now you still drive me wild, but at least I can do something about it." There is a twinkle in his eye as his fingers run the length of her body, tangling in her hair.

"Like?" she teases, knowing exactly where he's thinking.

He grins, pulling her down for a kiss and flipping them over so her back is flat against the bed.

"Like the ultimate red light behaviour..."

She chuckles, as his mouth passionately covers her own.

Notes:

I've been extremely busy with work this week and ran into a few unexpected problems, so I haven't had time to write much – thus, a short and sweet one it is for today! :)
