Summary
After a month of near-isolation while helping a planet navigate an epidemic, McCoy returns to the ship, healthy but touch-starved. Kirk and Spock have a plan, though, and they're not above railroading the good doctor into going along with them.
The plan? It's fairly complicated. Fairly technical. You might not understand it.
(It's cuddling.)
“Do you and Doctor McCoy ever...” Spock pauses, and tilts his head slightly to the side as he thinks, “I suppose the most accurate term would be 'cuddle'. Do the two of you ever cuddle?”
Not much shakes their unflappable captain, but this—this appears to have him well and truly flapped. His mouth is hanging open, and the hand he'd begun to swing over towards his couch is frozen mid-swing.
