Jordana hissed as the greenish liquid hit her skin, the blood that had mixed with the medicine running down her arm and dripping onto the cracked staircase bellow them.
The redhead looked up, an irritated glare directed at the ginger man who had dragged her to the steps of the dojo. He seemed unfazed by her ugly wound, his gaze focused on the bloody mess that herself had caused.
"Why do you care?" Jordana blurted out. "It's not like I need your help."
"Maybe that's true." Lightning said after a while. "But that doesn't mean that I'll let you handle it alone."
