Chapter Text
Ultima was in the Holy Empire of Luberius’ territory. She was heading to the Capital City Rune with Hinata the Saint being carried on her back.
Hinata already recovered from her unconscious state once, but her resistances made traveling more difficult than it should be, so Ultima had to keep her asleep with a modified poison.
The poison wasn’t life-threatening, but it was potent enough to keep an imperfected saint like Hinata in check.
She had the formula of this specific poison even before Unique skill ‘Toxicologist’ was given to her via Gift.
“Hmm?” Ultima sensed a dimension near her distorted.
A blue magic circle flashed on the floor before a beautiful man in a butler suit appeared out of thin air.
Diablo teleported to Ultima with Spacetime Domination. “Honestly, I didn’t expect the Holy Empire to be here,” he mumbled to himself.
Spacetime Domination could only bring Diablo to places he had visited before.
The Holy Empire of Luberius was founded during the period where Diablo was wandering in another world. Though this was his first time in this country, Diablo had a connection with this land.
“Oh, right! Your old master used to live here, didn't he?” Ultima asked.
“That’s correct, and I am not surprised that Luminous chose this place.”
The Capital City Rune was built surrounding the Mountain Haunted by God, one of the most important places in the West.
The god that used to live on this mountain was none other than the Star King Dragon. After his death, Luminous Valentine took this mountain as her own.
The Three Pupils of the Star was trained here as well, on top of that mountain by Veldanava himself.
This mountain was the place the true dragons hatched, and was also where Diablo’s two disciples were born and trained by him.
Rune was covered by a barrier that repelled monsters, elementals and daemons. Even if they managed to get past that barrier, they would still be detected. “It’s more secure than the last time I visited.”
“Maybe your visit prompted her to upgrade her defense.”
“Hey, that’s your student! You should know how she would act more than me!”
Diablo shook his head. “I knew her two thousand years ago.” Time changed people, ageless beings weren’t an exception. “Let’s go. We are not going to waste more time standing idly by.”
Diablo grabbed Hinata from Ultima and placed her on his shoulder, his free hand then picked Ultima up by the collar of her shirt. He used Spacetime Domination again, this time aiming for the top of the Mountain Haunted by God.
He was now in the Inner Sanctum. The room was decorated, dimly-lighted by candles and the fragrant odor of incense lingered thick in the air.
He threw Hinata on the soft sofa before letting Ultima go. “Can’t you be more gentle? I am quite delicate.”
Diablo ignored. Though she acted delicate and innocent in front of Rimuru, Ultima was anything but that. She was a primordial daemon after all.
He settled on a sofa as Ultima was working on the antidote for Hinata.
Toxin had always been Ultima preferred weapon, Unique skill Toxicologist just added to her already excellent mastery over them.
It allowed her to create and modify poison and venom as she pleased. This was far better than making one in a lab like she used to do.
The primordials’ intrusion was detected immediately. “Intruders, stop right there-” The double doors were slammed open by a tall, blond man.
‘That is…’ While walking along the corridor of the Holy Temple, he could feel the disturbance in space and the intruders’ aura, so he came to investigate.
“Oh, it’s you. I don’t have time to waste on the likes of you. Call her to me.” Diablo’s voice was serious and authoritative not befitting for a man in a butler suit to use.
“When did you come back-”
“Silence!” Diablo roared, his face turned discontented. “Call Luminous. Now!”
“Y-Yes!”
Louis ran out of the room. Vampires, especially Surmounters, knew who Diablo was and wouldn’t dare to cross him. They knew the risk of having their body sliced by his scissors claw.
People from the age of old believed that the Primordial Black was gone for good, so his sudden appearance came as a surprise for Louis.
Not long after, a young girl with heterochromia eyes entered the room. Behind her were Louis, Roy and Gunther.
“Lord Noir~” When she arrived, Diablo had already transformed into a female form. Luminous jumped at him and buried her face between the chests.
Vampires lived by stealing the life force of others, and they had to eat that life force frequently. Though they had a weakness to sunlight, the Sun could be conquered. Vampires had Gunther as their ancestor.
And while night stalkers, who had Prelix as their ancestor, could live for years without consuming blood, they lacked the ability to conquer the Sun.
Luminous had no such weakness. She had no need for blood and was resilient to sunlight since birth. That was because she wasn’t either a vampire or night stalker. Luminous was a highblood.
The first highblood was Twilight Valentine, created from the blood of Veldanava himself. Twilight was the one who created Gunther and the Trinity Wisemen.
His last creation was Luminous. Though creation might not be the correct word, Luminous was more of Twilight’s reincarnation. She might not inherit any memories from the first highblood, but Diablo was sure that she inherited the behavior of a creepy old man.
“I miss you so much~” She nuzzled Diablo’s boobs. “Oh? They increased in size, didn’t they?” As stated before, a creepy old man's behavior.
Diablo grabbed Luminous by her wrists then flipped her to be on his lap. “Enough of this foolish game. You still have things to explain.”
Before they could start a serious conversation, Diablo ordered Ultima to bring Hinata out of the room. Gunther led her out, leaving only Diablo, Louis and Roy in the room.
“Tempest was attacked by the allied forces of the Temple Knights and Falmuth army. Lord Rimuru is mad, no, mad is an understatement even. What excuse do you have for yourself?”
“Rimuru? Who is-” Before she could finish her word, Diablo increased the force behind his grip. Physical strength alone could not harm Luminous, that was why Diablo added magic into the mix.
“Don’t change the topic.” His eyes daggered. “From the Ten Great Saints to those Luminaries. You want to say that those high-ranked members of yours move without your knowledge?”
“I-I don’t know a thing!” Luminous tried to pull her wrists off of Diablo’s grip as it began to hurt. “Who ordered those guys!” She turned to Louis and Roy, asking them.
Luminous didn’t care enough to organize the Church’s business on her own. She had her subordinates do it for her. Speaking of those who had the right to mobilize troops, those would be Louis, the Holy Emperor, and the Luminaries.
She had heard of the Jura-Tempest Federation before from Hinata but didn’t pay much attention to it. She didn’t know why just yet, but the attack on that nation seemed to enrage her mentor greatly.
Louis raised his hand. “I am the one who gave permission-” And then his heart was pierced by a beam.
Louis fell down from Diablo’s attack, the daemon was here to punish those who had wrong his lord after all. Diablo released Luminous, letting her run to Louis’ side.
Using her blood, Luminous revived Louis and assisted him to sit. “Ugh, your decision put us into this mess. Do you know that?” She scolded.
“I apologize… I am foolish to think that the archbishop’s cause was just. I thought it could bring glory to the Church and to your name…” Louis said.
But the punishment didn’t end there. Diablo grabbed the collar of Luminous’ dress and dragged her along the floor. As he led the way out of the holy ground, he explained why he was here in the first place.
He came here as Rimuru’s representative to punish Luminous directly. He didn’t tell her about the connection between Rimuru and Veldanava, but a smart girl like Luminous could connect the dots by herself. She knew Diablo’s character; knowing that he wouldn’t serve or let anyone else name him other than his lord.
‘Rimuru Tempest…’ Luminous wasn’t sure how she should feel about this. Just how legit was this man in the first place? In the past thousand years she had heard of many false gods. Those who possessed Veldanava’s specific Dragon Spirit Haki, but not his memories.
Luminous had never met those false idols. Usually it was either Guy or Feldway who dealt with them.
Guy described one of those entities to be a whisperer of lies, using the bond Guy shared with Veldanava, that… thing almost got him.
Luminous wasn’t sure if her mentor was tricked into serving a false idol or not. She also didn’t want to ask him directly, fearing that her punishment might become more unbearable.
But that was fine. She heard from the Demon Lord’s Ring before that Rimuru Tempest had been invited to the upcoming Walpurgis. She would use that opportunity to see and judge Rimuru’s legitimacy of his claim.
And for the captured Saints, Diablo promised that he would return them to Luminous. But in exchange, she had to visit Tempest and personally apologize to Rimuru himself.
“How about we use the usual method?”
“Eh? Don’t tell me you’re planning to-” Her sentence was cut as Diablo threw her down the mountain. This was by far his favorite method in the past.
As the wise Creator Dragon once said, “They don’t listen to your lesson? Throw them off the cliff, it just worked.”
He could hear Luminous’ painful groans and anger-filled curses from here. After waiting for half an hour, Luminous climbed back up with her bare hands. “That’s not funny, you know? You should warn me first!”
Diablo smirked as he looked deep into those red and blue eyes. He tilted his head innocently before kicking Luminous down the mountain once again and let her climb back up. He planned to do it 7 times in total, thinking that amount was a good omen.
Yuuki didn’t get much sleep these last few days. While she was teaching her students, Shizu-san fell unconscious without any rhyme or reason, and it concerned Yuuki to no end.
While he was not a man with the purest heart, Yuuki worried deeply when something happened to his cherished ones. “Are you sure you are feeling better now? Don’t you want a few more days off?” He asked.
“I am fine,” Shizu sighed. This was the third time today she had to answer that exact question. Yuuki worried about her, which she appreciated. But it started to get annoying by how repetitive this was.
Her sudden passing out was a result of her receiving a Gift due to the connection she had with Rimuru. It might look concerning in Yuuki’s eyes, but she assured him that she woke up feeling better than ever.
“Shizu-sensei, you are pushing 70s as of now, no one will blame you if you take a couple days rest.”
Shizu’s eyebrow twitched as her age was being mentioned. “Yuuki, I said I am fine,” she confirmed.
As much as Yuuki wanted to, he couldn’t hold Shizu from doing what she wanted to. He could only watch as she walked out of his office, heading to the classroom.
“Mhmm…” Yuuki groaned discontently. “Maybe she’s right. Maybe I am just being too paranoid.”
After making sure nobody was around, Yuuki brought out a crystal ball and contacted Clayman. He had been focusing on Shizu these last few days, but now it was time to get back to business as usual.
“Clayman-san, how is your evolution into a true demon lord? Is it a success?” Yuuki began with an important question first. Clayman’s evolution was the first step in their grand plan, so it was the most prioritized objective as of now.
By using the controlled Milim, they would destroy Eurazania’s capital city, then harvesting the souls of its citizens until there were enough souls for an evolution to happen, that was their initial plan. [I apologize, Yuuki-sama.]
Clayman owned up to his mistake. [It seems like Milim’s power was so potent that it destroyed the capital city alongside the souls we will need.]
[But I do have another plan, a better plan.] This mistake was a huge setback, yes. But a strategist like him always had a contingency plan.
While the capital city was destroyed, there were still refugees living in villages and towns in that land. Now with Carrion and his Beast Master’s Brigade gone, no one would get in between Clayman and his ambition.
[With Walpurgis approaching, I cannot oversee the attack myself, but I will put Yamza on the task.]
Yuuki nodded, “I see. Do everything you need to.”
Clayman never told him what Walpurgis was all about, but it probably was not that important. What did Demon Lords even talk about? Territory dispute? Power struggle? Some meaningless things only those who stood at the top of the world understood?
Whatever it was, Yuuki didn’t see it as that big of a deal. Clayman would just join in, come back to reap the benefit that Yamza’s group sowed for him, and evolve into a true demon lord.
Yuuki thought that was Clayman’s plan, but he couldn’t be more wrong. This Walpurgis was more than just a tea party, it was instead an event that would tip the balance of the world altogether.
In the Ice Continent where the icy winds blew. The permafrost ice created by one of the true dragons made this place inhabitable to most life-forms. Only daemons were thriving here.
A castle stood tall at the center. A demon fortress projected to the Material Realm through the use of unimaginable magicules. This was the White Ice Palace where Demon Lord Guy Crimson took residence in.
A tall, blond and beautiful man was walking down the hallway, treating it like his home. Daemons who called this place home made way for him, knowing who he was. Now the man stood in front of giant doors which led to the main hall where the Daemon King awaited.
“Demon Lord Leon Cromwell has arrived!” One of Guy’s maids, the green-haired one, announced.
Along the carpet leading up to the throne were lines upon lines of daemons. Greater daemons made up the bulk of Guy’s army. They were stronger than greater majins, yet they were considered only as foot soldiers.
There were six who were called Guy’s lieutenants. They were daemon peers, putting them at the upper-echelon of daemonkind.
Yet the presences at the throne was otherworldly compared to these soldiers. The reigning god-king of the land of eternal ice, Guy Crimson. Next to his throne were Raine and Mizari, those maids dressed in dark red possessed strength equal to demon lords.
They were Guy’s strongest subordinates, yet held no candles in front of Guy himself. Considered the first and strongest Demon Lord, Guy was a force of nature akin to those true dragons.
“Long time no see, Leon.” He took every step with a hint of confidence and arrogance. His red, slightly curly hair flowed like a blood-soaked river.
“I appreciate that you answered my invitation.” Guy stepped down from his throne. His hand reached for Leon’s waist, other hand caressing Leon’s face. “Let me show you my way of thanks.”
Leon frowned in disgust as Guy began to kiss him. He pushed Guy away. “I told you many times, I have no interest in men,” Leon said coldly.
“Aww, you’re no fun,” Guy chuckled despite the cold response. “I can turn into a woman if you want to.”
“Going to bed with you gives me no benefits.”
“Which implies that you’ll do it with me if I can help you with something.”
“Hmph. That will only happen in your dream, and your dream will certainly be my nightmare.”
Guy led Leon up to the frost balcony. The icy winds blew past them yet there was no sense of chilling because of the temperature control system Guy prepared for Leon. The chairs and table were made of ice, yet they weren’t cold.
“Why did you invite me here?”
“About the disappearance of White you told me before, I just have Mizari investigated for me,” Guy said.
While they were talking, Raine walked in silently with a tea set. She masked her emotion with absolute professionalism.
“The result is quite perplexing. It isn’t just White. But Purple and Yellow are gone as well.”
Leon’s eyes widened. It seemed to be more troublesome than he initially thought. “Yellow too?” Juane might be a troublemaker and an annoyance, but her disappearance was not comforting.
“Them and their lieutenants are gone, but their underlings are still around. So it wasn’t an all-out war between factions that took them,” said Guy.
It could have been anything. “The worst thing that could happen is all of them finally incarnate. Do you know how much chaos the three of them could bring if they are in the Material Realm at the same time?”
Though interesting, what happened to them didn’t concern Guy. If they were killed, then they would be reborn, primordial daemons always came back after all. If they incarnated then Guy would deal with them when they caused problems. Even if they attacked him in group, they had no chance to win against Guy’s peerless strength.
Guy only had the upcoming Walpurgis Banquet on his mind. “So, what do you think of this Rimuru?”
“He crowned himself a Demon Lord without permission, didn’t he? But I think he could join us if he’s strong enough.”
“So you think he’s qualified? Funnily enough, Ramiris suggested the same,” Guy smiled happily as he spoke.
“I have never seen her so passionate about letting a new member join our rank before. So, I guess he has more to offer than just being a self-proclaimed Demon Lord.” Guy might be arrogant, but he always listened to his friends.
Ramiris’ words should not be taken lightly. “I just allowed Rimuru to join this Walpurgis as Ramiris’ request.”
Guy was looking forward to this banquet, while Leon was forced into participating. They didn't know what Milim was thinking in taking sides with Clayman. But then again, it was difficult to predict how an idiot would move.
But speaking of a being with an unreasonable level of strength. Leon had heard of the Storm Dragon Veldora’s revival. Which surprised Guy when was informed.
“Ara, ara. Now that’s intriguing.” Suddenly, a voice cold as ice interrupted the two’s conversation. She was a woman with pearly white hair. Her eyes were blue like the deep sea.
“Are you saying that my little brother has awakened?” Her presence demanded respect. People called her the Ice Empress, but she was better known by another title: ‘White Ice Dragon.’
The strongest of the remaining true dragons. Guy’s friend and partner, Frost Dragon Velzard.
“Is it true then, Leon?”
“It's information I got from my spies in the Western nations.”
Veldora’s presence disappeared around two years ago, so they thought he was gone for good. If he did revive, the magicules outburst should cause the changes in climate to the noticeable scale, but none of that happened.
“I didn’t expect him to escape the seal the Chosen One put him in. Was the seal weakened by its age?” Guy inquired.
Velzard added “He sure didn't have enough strength to break it. That thing incorporated Imaginary Space. Brute force meant nothing to it, and brute force was all Veldora knew about.”
It excited Guy to think that Veldora or someone else somehow broke the seal.
The Chosen One was not your average champion or chosen hero. Chronoa was blessed by time and stars. Training under Rudra and inheriting his title, that made her one of the strongest people Guy had ever met. To think that there was someone who could break a seal created by that anomaly of a human…
Clayman was acting reckless.
Milim was making weird decisions.
Those Devil Girls’ disappearances.
Rimuru proclaimed himself a Demon Lord.
Veldora had been revived.
If all of these were connected then this Walpurgis Banquet seemed to be more interesting than he initially thought.
It was at that moment Guy’s Demon Lord’s Ring buzzed. “What’s it, Ramiris? I am in the middle of something,” he answered the call.
[Hey, Guy! Rimuru wants to ask for your permission to bring Veldora. Is it fine with you?]
Guy let out an intoxicating smirk. That infamous Storm Dragon wanted to join the banquet? That was surprising. “Of course. Why not,” he replied. Guy prioritized his own amusement first, so he would allow it.
“Guy said it’s fine to bring him, but in his words: you bring your dragon, I will bring mine.” Ramiris reported to Rimuru.
He nodded. It went exactly as he planned. Rimuru wanted to lure the White Ice Dragon out of her den, and what would be a better bait than her own little brother. “That’s great.”
“You seem so eager to see her, eh?”
Ramiris didn’t blame Rimuru though. Velzard was a recluse who didn’t appear often in front of others, a chance to see her was as rare as seeing a polar bear in the jungle.
However, Rimuru had an ulterior motive. It was when Ramiris informed him of the date Walpurgis Banquet would be held that Ciel approached him. She told Rimuru about his new quests.
There were 2 of them:
«Quest 4: Consuming cores of all the true dragons—unfinished.»
«Quest 5: Evolve—unfinished.»
What differed these two quests from the previous three was that these new ones had a time limit. And they were due on the exact same night as Walpurgis.
Coincidence? Maybe. But it seemed a little too perfect. It made Rimuru question if these quests really came from the Voice of the World. From what he knew, the quest seemed to be a phenomenon only Rimuru experienced.
And its objective was strange for a quest. It wasn’t a conventional “kill 7 monsters” or “deliver this package.”
It felt more deliberate, guiding Rimuru to get stronger rather than fulfilling its desires. Rimuru didn’t know what its purpose was, but he wouldn’t risk any punishments that would come with a failure of not meeting its demands.
Evolve was too brief of a quest and it didn’t give Rimuru any clue either, so he would focus on the first one for now.
Rimuru already had a few cores with him. The Star King Core he got from Veldanava’s corpses and the Storm Core Ciel extracted from Veldora. That left only the Scorch Core and the Frost Core to be collected.
With Velzard joining the Walpurgis, Rimuru could find time to politely ask her for it. From Ciel’s statement, the extraction of the core was painless and it didn’t affect the strength of those being extracted, so it would be fine.
The Scorch Core, however, was more difficult to deal with.
Rimuru had a plan in place for it, but he should wait for the right moment.
For now, he should focus on his plan to crush Clayman.
Rimuru had another meeting in the ryokan with his executives, the Three Beastketeers and the now recovered Carrion.
Clayman accused Carrion of betraying the council and accused Rimuru of being a co-conspirator who proclaimed himself as a Demon Lord and killed his subordinates, Mjurran and Pirone.
‘I understand the Mjurran one, but who is this Pirone again?’
«She’s a harpy-like majin I killed. She was spying on us during the war with Falmuth. Sadly, she didn’t possess any usable skill.»
‘Well, at least one of his accusations isn’t made up. That’s a good start, I guess.’
Carrion and Frey could expose Clayman of his lies, but only at the right time. “He accused us as conspirators, so you can’t just show up at the banquet.”
“You’re suggesting that there is a right moment to strike?”
“Yes. That’s when Clayman’s evil scheme is laid down for the whole council to see.” Rimuru advised Carrion to join in with a disguise on, waiting for that right moment where Clayman’s scheme came crumbling down.
During the night of Walpurgis, there would be two groups mobilized behind the scene.
The first group composed of Benimaru, Geld, Gobta, their subordinates and the Beast Master’s Brigade would confront Yamza’s army that was settling in the City of the Forgotten Dragon. From Souei’s intelligence gathering, Rimuru knew that they were heading into Eurazania’s territory, so the faster they were dealt with, the better.
The second group composed of Shuna, Hakurou and Souei would raid Clayman’s castle to see if there was any evidence that could be presented to the Demon Lords.
“And now, about Falmuth…” He had to find someone to accompany Youm and his party. At first, he thought Diablo might be the best option.
“I think Ult knows a thing or two about causing a nation wide distress,” Testarossa suggested.
“Hmm?”
“Oh, right! Look at the mess she makes at Raja, she’s really a professional when it comes to fuck the whole country up.” Carrera added.
Rimuru felt like he should be concerned about what they were saying. But he should focus on the trouble at hand first.
Rimuru contacted Ultima via Thought Communication, telling her to wait for Youm’s party at Blumund. “Ranga, you should go with them too.”
“As you wish, Milord!” He wagged his tail so adorably. Other than Ranga, Diablo, Testa and Carrera, no one knew who Ultima was, so working with her would be a bit difficult. Rimuru had planned for the other primordials, so he chose Ranga to play a role in Falmuth’s downfall instead.
Now about those who would accompany Rimuru to Walpurgis.
Rimuru would have Diablo and Shion by his side.
Testarossa and Zegion would go as Veldora’s attendants.
For Ramiris, one was Treyni and the other would be Carrion disguised as the Lion Mask.
With everything considered, only Carrera, Apito and Gabiru still didn’t have a duty given to them.
Rimuru tasked Apito and Gabiru with protecting Tempest. Apito’s army wasps were fantastic when it came to acting like surveillance cameras. And Gabiru, after getting his Unique skills, had become an extremely competent fighter both offensive and defensive.
And about Carrera…
A week later, the night Walpurgis Banquet would be held.
Rimuru told Carrera to follow him as he was finding a nice and secure place. He had a mission for her, a secret operation.
‘I will leave the rest to you then, Rael.’ As he spoke, Rimuru created an enhanced body double for Rael, giving him his own form to fulfill the mission.
‹Leave it to me, Lord.›
Rael’s preferred form was shorter than Rimuru, even shorter than his pre-evolution form. If he was a human he should be around 13. His form was as childish as his thought process, so Rimuru wasn’t sure if he would be able to complete this mission on his own.
The body double’s eyes fluttered open. The purple eyes were mildly droopy, giving off a vibe that he was in a constant state of either sleep deprived or boredom.
His duty was to go fetch Rimuru the Scorch Core.
The reason Rimuru chose tonight specifically despite having a week to plan was because of Walpurgis. The Demon Lords could be his alibi as the sneak in happened on the empire’s land.
“Are you sure you can do it?” Rimuru whispered a question.
“Trust me, Lord.”
He was confident and eager to serve. It still felt weird for him to throw a child at a literal manifestation of flame and acceleration itself. But Ciel told him not to underestimate Manas. Whatever a Manas was, Rimuru didn’t know, but he trusted her words nonetheless.
«I also packed a bento box for him.»
‘Aww, that’s adorable.’
«Eating it will turn him into a weapon of mass destruction that will swallow the empire whole.»
‘That’s… less adorable…’
Rimuru sighed, he would never get used to Ciel’s nonsense. He turned to the Primordial Yellow. “Carrera, your duty is to accompany my body double to a mission in the East.”
She complied and both of them took to the skies. That body double carried Rael’s core with it, so as he went further, Rimuru wouldn’t be able to use Rael’s ability. But he could still get access to the old Beelzebuth via Shub-Niggurath. Rael would join in when his mission succeeded, so it wasn’t the worst.
Rimuru returned to his office where both familiar faces and unfamiliar faces were waiting for him. The unfamiliar faces Rimuru talked about were a man and woman.
The first one was a beautiful woman with long, black hair dressed in a maid outfit of the same color. A long skirt reached the ankle and the sleeves clothed their arms fully. The outfit was formal akin to that of Demon Lord Guy’s maids.
While the other was a beautiful, white-haired man in a white tuxedo. Their eyes red as blood. They looked like a more mature version of Moss. Which was not a coincidence at all.
These were Diablo and Testarossa respectively. Rimuru already had many problems in his hands, he didn’t want to attract other Demon Lords’ attention just yet. He knew what kind of reputation these primordials had. Bringing them with him was risky, but their strength would be needed.
So he had them use their genderbent forms, had Shion and Shuna dressed them up and had Ciel masked their presences completely for them to be indistinguishable from humans. As long as they kept their foul mouths shutted, even Guy Crimson wouldn’t notice it.
While they were chatting among themselves, Giant marble doors to the unknown dimension appeared in Rimuru’s office. Their guide to Walpurgis Banquet had arrived.
‘Ciel-san,’ Rimuru signaled.
Understanding her assignment fully, Ciel took control of Rimuru’s body. Golden eyes turned crimson red. The ever cunning Manas would be the one doing all the talking. In a confrontation, those who lost their cool first would be the losers. Ciel, however, had ice for heart.
