"Hey, Jessie?"
"What is it now?"
Jessie and James were separated from Meowth after Pikachu blasted them off for the fifth time that week. Not that Jessie didn't mind spending time with James, but he can get pretty annoying at times.
Like right now.
"I like your hair."
She stopped and turned around to face him. ‘Did he just give me a compliment?’
"A-And I like other things, too. Not just your hair, personality or just you. I mean I like you, but I like Pokémon too. But I like you more. Uh-I mean...will you go out with me?" His face was a light pink and he looked away from her, embarrassed.
Jessie was surprised and had no idea what to say. ‘And did he just ask me out?’
"I-I understand if you don't want to...I wouldn't want to go out with myself either-" He felt something soft touch his cheek and his face heated up.
"Off course I would, idiot. Now let's go before Meowth starts suspecting something." She took his hand and they headed off to find Meowth and tell him the news.
‘Wait...did I just become his girlfriend?’
