Summary
In one of the chapters, a shaman gives Deon advice to pay close attention to any danger to his eyes...Although Death has come to make a contract with Deon and asks for his eyes as a medium for Deon's request, the world decides that he will not be getting what he wants.
In the end, Deon - who is both hated and adored by the world at the same time, after the death of the Demon King is punished by the world and is turned into a new Demon King - with his eye sclera turned black similar to how Caver's eyes were.
...After "Deon Hardt" has died, his soul does achieve immortality and eternal suffering, but as "The Demon King" now, who gradually forgets his name and wishes for nothing more than any living being that could soothe his loneliness... -
