Summary:

Smoke, gray and heavy, pours out of the door as she slides it open, the worst of it stinging her eyes and making it water.

“You burned them again, Wen Qing! My Shijie can’t eat these!” Jiang Yanli has to blink quickly to even see Wei Wuxian and Wen Qing standing across from each other, the charred remains of… something sitting between them on the work table.

How had neither of them noticed the smoke around them?

This was created for Voiceteam 2024 BECHDEL TEST challenge: "Create an audio fanwork that passes the Bechdel test—has at least two female characters in it who talk to each other about something other than a man." So we choose one in which two gals talk about lotus bean paste buns. Because they're falling in love 💜🧡🩷
