Summary
Sun was searching by the castle, which Mike was certain they weren’t near today, but it was better than nothing. They were searching near the slide, which they weren’t supposed to use, but it was the fastest way down in a hurry. Cleaning staff was going to hate them, but it didn’t matter, the ring was more important than their job here!
Swuuuuuush plop!
With a wave of balls sliding, someone has entered the daycare after hours. Grumbling, Mike pulls out their flashlight, ready to hit someone with it. Whoever was in, they wisely stayed in the balls, hiding exactly where they were, but the moving balls showed their path.
As they got closer, a curious hand with a silver ring peeked out of the balls. Before they could think twice, they swung the heavy flashlight, making an awful sound with contact.
