As soon as I left the room, the cold air made me shiver, I looked around, and there was simmering, sparkling snow, "It's a good thing I'm wearing a sweater.." I mumbled looking down at my sweater purple sweater with blue stripes, I walked through it, a path already being made, as I was walking I saw a stick and hopped over it, I continued walking and I heard the stick crack, it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, I looked behind me, I didn't see anything but the stick was broken, I gulped but quickly composed myself, I continued walking, I came to a brown bridge with wide bars, I felt like someone was behind me, their voice cold "Human...don't you know how to greet a new pal? Turn around and shake my hand." I didn't want to, but I didn't know what they would do to me if I ran away, so I turned towards them, they stuck out their hand and I shook it, all of a sudden I heard a whoopie cushion go off, I wasn't impressed but the skeleton was beaming, he had a blue hoodie that was unzipped, with a white t-shirt, black shorts with 1 white stripe on the sides, and..pink slippers?! I'm embarrassed that I was even scared of him, my cheeks tinged pink, the skeleton laughed heartily "I thought you were a human but you look more like a tomato!" I rolled my eyes as the skeleton kept laughing like it was the best joke he heard in his life. I rolled my eyes and mumbled "That's not funny..." My hands clenched into fists. The skeleton hit back "Aw c'mon you need to...CHILL out." He commented winking. I shook his hand off and the skeleton said "Awww are you mad at the prank, it was the ol' whoopie cushion in the hand trick! It's ALWAYS funny! Names Sans, Sans the skeleton, so you're human right? That's hilarious! I'm supposed to be on watch for humans but I don't really care about capturing anybody, now my brother Papyrus...he's a human hunting FANATIC!" my eyes widen "Go through that fence, yeah right through, my bro made the bars to wide to stop anyone." I went through and then Sans said "He's coming! Quick! Behind that conveniently shaped lamp!" Wow. That lamp was conveniently shaped, my head size and all, and I was pretty short so the height of the lamp fit it too, I went behind it and I heard a voice that sounded like he-man speak, that's probably Papyrus "Sans! It's been 3 weeks and you still haven't recalibrated. your. puzzles!" then I heard Sans speak "Hey, I've gotten a ton of work done today, a skele-ton" I rolled my eyes, god he was lame. I hated to admit that he was kinda funny on a bad way. God my sense of humor was broken. "Un. believable. Why does someone as great as me have to do so much to get some recognition?" "Sounds like you're working yourself...down to the bone!" I rolled my eyes again, what dumb jokes! Papyrus seemed annoyed "Sans! Stop it!" "Come on, you're smiling" "I am and I hate it! And as for your puzzles...put a little more.. "backbone" into it! Nyeh heh heh heh heh heh!" "Okay, you can come out now" I hear Sans say, I come out, relieved that it works, I looked at him "Hey, thanks that was....cool of you." Sans shot me finger guns "There ya go! Now you're gettin' it!" I rolled my eyes and playfully elbowed him "Its your fault y'know, your sense of humor is contagious" he smiled and held up a hand "Gulity as charged" I let out a small smile and attempted to leave but then Sans stopped me, grabbing my hand, how did he get to me so fast? I didn't hear his footsteps...I couldn't think of it before his voice cut through "Hey...hate to bother you but..my brother's been kinda down lately and seeing you just might make his day." I thought about it and nodded "Okay...I'll show myself to him." Sans smiled but noticed I was a little nervous and said "Don't worry, he's not dangerous, even when he tries to be." I took a deep breath and nodded "Okay." "Thanks a million I'll be up ahead," Sans said, walking the other way, weird...
I kept moving forward and I saw a skeleton with a red scarf, gloves and some boots, he was much taller and lankier than his brother, who was pretty short "Must be papyrus..." Papyrus spoke "So as I was saying about Undyne-" Papyrus stopped and stared at me, "Oh my god! Is that...a human!?" Sans said, "Nah, I think that's a rock." "Oh." "Well hey, what's that in front of the rock?" "Oh my god! Is that?" He looked at his brother "Is that a human?" Papyrus whispers "Yes." Sans said "Oh my god! I will...Undyne will...I'll be so..popular! Popular! Popular! Ahem. Human! You shall not pass this area! I the great papyrus will stop you! Heh heh heh heh heh nyeh!" I sighed "I have a bad feeling about this..." and Sans said "Don't worry, I'll keep an eye socket out for ya" I continued moving and I saw a bird..? It had sliver feathers with an orange beak and blue bowtie. Nothing will surprise me anymore, the bird said "It's "ice" to meet you and it would be even "icer" to beat you!" and I let out a stifled giggle, Sans broke my sense of humor. The bird was beaming, or at least he was? It was hard to tell with the beak. "See! Laughs! Dad was wrong!" I wicned at hearing that "Uhm...can I go?" The bird nodded "Yes! I need to start my stand up career!" He ran and I sighed, best of luck to him I guess. I walked and saw a puzzle, I read a sign "Turn all the x into an o ans then flip the switch. I solved the puzzle quickly. There were a bunch of puzzles but they weren't exactly hard, I mean one was just frozen spaghetti. I saw a switch in the snow and clicked it, then some dog in metal armor attacked me, seeing a dog, I had the urge to pet it, I barely lifted my hand and it got excited, the more I pet it, the longer it's neck got, it was really weird to be honest, but everything about this place was weird, I continued petting it and it eventually let me go. I was walking and 2 dogs wearing hats that looked like it was made of black wool or black fur approached me "Who's the smell?" One said "Where's that smell?" the other said, "If you're a smell... identify yoursmellf!" They began walking around me "That smell..it makes me want to eliminate" The other one finished the sentence "Eliminate you!" They attacked me, determined to get the smell off me I rolled around in the snow, I smelled like a weird puppy, and the other dogs thought I was a puppy too, I pet them and they let me go, I continued walking and saw someone with a cool hat! They were egotistical though so the more I ignored their hat, the more annoyed they got, and they eventually let me go and in their words and I quote, "Better a hatter than a hater!" Truer words have never been said, there was also a dog that could only see moving things it had a black bandana around their head, when it couldn't detect any movement, I pet it and it freaked out, I kept walking and I saw things I could only describe as snow poffs, one had 30 golds inside, not the weirdest thing that happened here, eventually I went to a town, I saw a sign and it was called "Snowdin", I walked in a shop and it was a lot warmer, there was a nice talking bunny that sold Cinabunnys, they also sold manly bandanas, I bought some cinabunnys and a manly bandana, it was called manly because it had abs drawn on it, I wrapped it across my head and kept going, I saw papyrus, the tension was thick, there was white fog where all I could see was his silhouette "Human. Allow me to tell you about some complex feelings like...the joy of finding another pasta lover, the admiration for another's puzzle-solving skills...the desire to have a smart, cool person think you're cool" I remember all the times I solved Papyrus' relatively easy puzzles, was he talking about me? "These feelings..." Papyrus continued "Must be what you're feeling right now!" I sighed what did I expect really? "I have no idea what that must feel like after all I am very great! I pity you, lonely human, therefore I the great Papyrus will be your..." I got excited then Papyrus stopped "No...no this is all wrong! I can't be your friend! I must capture you! Then I can live the life I always dreamed of! Popular! Prestigious! That's Papyrus! The newest member! Of the Royal Guard!"
I got attacked. I yelled “Papyrus! No matter what, I won’t hurt you!” He said, “So…you won’t fight then let’s see how you handle my fabled blue attack!” He yelled throwing bones at me, I smirked “Is that all you got!?” He clenched his fists and throw a bone that went through my stomach. I went back and clutched it, screaming in agony, blood was pouring out of it, I bit off a part of my sweater and tied it around the hole so it would stop bleeding. “I won’t fight you!” I screamed “No matter what you do, no matter how bad you hurt me I will never hurt you! No matter what! I promise I’ll find a way to free everyone but you have to let me go!” Papyrus looked hopeful for a second “....Really?” Then he shook his head “No! You are the enemy!” Then let’s see you handle my special attack!” I narrowed my eyes. “I’m ready.” he narrowed his eyes “Alright then…if that’s the case…then behold! My special attack!” then I saw a dog with a bone “Uhhh…?” I tried to stop myself from bursting out laughing “That’s your special attack? What are you gonna do? Kill me with adorableness?” Papyrus yelled “No! Hey, you stupid dog! You hear me? Stop munching on that bone! That’s my special attack!” I smiled and petted the dog. Then it went away. I smirked and Papyrus said, “Oh well, I’ll just use a really cool regular attack!” I sighed “Okay then.” I waited then he prepared the attack. And it was no regular, I was able to dodge it but I was heaving. Papyrus was huffing and said “Well…it’s clear…you can’t…defeat me! Yeah I see you shaking in your boots! Therefore I the great papyrus choose to grant you pity, I will spare you human.” “Finally!” I said, “I won’t fight you either!” Then he turned away looking sad “I can’t even defeat someone as weak as you…Undyne’s going to be really disappointed in me…” I put my hand on his shoulder “Papyrus…I’m sure she’s not…” He looked at me sadly “She is…and I’ll never join the royal guard! And my friend quantity will remain stagnant!” I looked down, “Not anymore.” I said hugging him “I’m your friend now. No matter what.” telling me to go to his house so we could become friends and hang out, I came over and saw his house and his room with a racecar bed, actions figures of sexy robots, a box of bones, and a beat-up pirate flag, and a bookself with books about complex puzzles to children's books, we hung out and had a fun time, I tried his spaghetti, the taste was...indescribable..it made my face scrunch up.
