42. Something Could Happen To The Baby.

Summary:

Bjorn is stressing about all of his babies.

Work Text:

Bjorn Ironside doesn't do stressing, or at least he used to not till he got a wife who is more suborn then he is. Lothbrok's don't stress it's a whole thing though right now as he is putting his whole family on a boat as they are fleeing to England away from Ivar, he is stressed.

And worst thing about it all is that his wife, Torvi, is pregnant. Sure it is only early months into the pregnancy though that does not make it any less stressful. Having children, ranging from eighteen to unborn, is crazy. Travelling with all of them on a small boat, plus having your mother, two brothers and their wives is a lot to handle. And on top of all of that he has got a bishop to care for, fuck how he hates that Bishop Headmund. Even more so when he is trying to get in his mother's pants.

Bjorn was hauling his children one by one to the ship, praying that this was all going to work out for the best. Once his children were in he moved on to helping his mother. Before finally he was helping his wife into the boat, he grabbed Torvi's waist and picked her up before placing his wife into the boat.
"You need to be careful, okay." Bjorn said to his wife as he got seated at one of the ores, Halfdan was behind him.

"I will be, Hali, come on." Torvi said grabbing ahold of her son's hand and moving towards the furs which were on the back.

And then off they went.

Bjorn was still stressed, his pregnant wife was travelling across the open ocean, and all he could think about is how something could happen to their baby. And not just that baby but all of their children are on this boat heading for England. Bjorn is more then stressed, his sick. Sick of feeling stressed over all of the unknows, though he had faith that all of his children will make it across the ocean just fine and his wife will also be fine. Maybe a little sea sick but overall fine. That is all he wants for right this moment in time.
