Chapter Text
Everyone knows about Midoriya's family luck. Izuku is the best example of it.
You heard about the last villain attack? Izuku was probably almost in the center. Someone breaks a bone? It's definitely Midoriya. But that's not the main point.
The main point is that no one knows why Izuku is always there. Maybe pure luck or lack of it? That would be the easiest explanation. However the truth is in two words - spider sense.
Spider sense was with him right from the moment of that one bite. It always warned him about the danger and somehow attracted him to it. Honestly, Midoriya still didn't figure it out completely, yet. He just knew when he felt weird tingles, he should hide his head. They are always going for the heads (what is really worrying.)
What comes to the conclusion; Midoriya Izuku isn't just a “magnet” for trouble. He IS a magnet for trouble.
So no one can be surprised when he was coming back from his walk, the sense tingled. Izuku froze in his tracks, looking quickly around. If no piano would fall from the sky, the area looks pretty safe. Huh. The sense never did a false alarm. It means one thing.
If Izuku isn't going to die, someone probably is on his way.
With almost like muscle memory, the boy ran to an empty alley. He never actually did this away from New York. It gave him a little bit of adrenaline. Not sure if this is the good kind or bad, tho.
In a second he was in his vigilante suit. In another he leaped into the air, stopping at the side of a building. The little bag hanging on his arms. He just couldn't leave it here!
`Don’t break like last time` he thought, as he looked around the street. He didn't see anything- Oh. Wait. He catches the feeling again. With that trope, he leaped forwards, swinging to the next alley.
From here he could notice a few people on it. Probably four or five and one in the middle of this adoration circle. The people around that one weren't looking friendly. Definitely not friendly. Midoriya knows something about it.
“Knock it off. It's pathetic” mumbled the person with purple hair.
“‘It’s pathetic!’ What? You don't have any more snarky comments, villain?” The person from the group laughed seeing the purple one’s twitch.
“Do you think that if you moved school you are just another person?”
“They're definitely scared of you there too!”
“Just look at his face! You're gonna cry?” The group just laughed at him, ignoring how uncomfortable he looked. He didn't look like he would cry. More likely if he wanted to hide underground. What is understable. Izuku was in the same situation, but he mostly stopped at the option cry.
The purple teen gave them a glare as he turned around ready to leave.
“Oi, where are you going?” one of them taunted, placing a firm hand on the other’s one shoulder. Midoriya didn't need to know what's gonna happen next.
“Ay, gentelmans! Maybe we should talk about it in a more civilized way?”
Everyone whipped their heads at him, startled. And oh- There's an awkward silence! There you go my friend. Seeing that he is in Bunny’s suit with a hood on, that's pretty awkward.
“Who the hell are you?!”
“Just a friendly neighborhood Bunny! And you aren't pretty friendly here.”
He really hoped that they would know English.
They group look pretty confused at him. After a second one of them snapped.
“Fucking idiots, it's one of the heroes!”
And that was enough to make them run like rats. They quickly retrieve the vigilante with a very much confused purple teen. Well, that sometimes happens.
“Hm. They aren't very brave” Spider-Bunny chuckles, slowly descending from the wall. He could feel the other gaze following him. But he didn't pay him any mind as he saw something on the ground. It was a little keychain in the form of black cat. Really cute in Izuku's opinion. And seeing as the purple teen perked up when he picked the keychain up, it's probably his.
“It's yours?” he looked at him, trying to sound friendly. He already has bunny ears in his costume. How can he be more friendly??
“Uh…I…” the teen hid his head between his arms, not sure what he should say. After a second he sighs quietly “Yes.”
“It's a really cute one! I definitely need to get one” Bunny gushed, passing the keychain to the other “You are fine? Nothing broken, bleeding?”
The teen shook his head, clenching his hand on the keychain “I’m fine… Thanks.”
“Nothing to thank me! I just happened to be here and they are probably scared of rabbits. I didn't know I could be that scary!” He counted it as a win when the teen chuckles.
“You are not from here, aren’t you?”
“Huh? How do you know, purple? Maybe I’m a local hero!”
Purple raised his eyebrow, not impressed by the new nickname. Well.
“Firstly, you aren't a pro hero. You aren't even taller than me” he ignored the gasp sound from his savior “Secondly, you are just talking in English.”
“...” Oh. He didn't even notice that.
Not hearing any comes back, purple smirked feeling the win.
“...Okay you got me” Bunny narrowed his eyes “I’m just here for a little vacation, but no word to anyone!”
“You are wearing a bunny hoodie, everyone probably notices you from kilometers away.”
“Hey, that's for aesthetics!”
“Right” purple rolled his eyes and turned around to leave “It's still a bunny hoodie.”
“Says people with purple hair!”
If he laughed, no one would know.
Shinsou-Aizawa Hitoshi never has a good luck. He was just leaving the cat shelter that he volunteered to, when a group of idiots surrounded him. They are just bullies from his past school. Easy peasy.
But he couldn't just beat down someone! Even if his dad would definitely do it. He has enough problems on his own. However when one of them clinched his hand on the arm, his reflexes kicked in. He was so ready to beat his ass down.
To his surprise, the bunny arrived. And no, it's no one of his jokes or memes. Literally, a person in a Bunny costume saves him from problems.
Hitoshi didn't recognize them as someone from new pro heroes. He would know. Pops always talks about some new ones that he met. Besides, the Bunny Hero talked in English. Only because pops loved having English lessons with him, Shinsou could actually talk with them.
Thinking about the weird Bunny guy, Shinsou entered his building, walked up the stairs. In a few minutes he was walking into apartments.
“I’m back!” he started to take off his shoes. He heard pops voices from the living room so he probably came from the radio station.
The black fluffy cat was already next to him meowing for attention.
“Good to see you too, Bastard” he mumbles, petting the cat. The cat purred happily, following Shinsou to the living room.
“How's your day, Kitten?” Hizashi asked with a soft smile, looking up from his book.
“Good…” Hitoshi didn't plan to say anything about the situation earlier. “What's up with dad?”
Aizawa was lying face down on the couch, next to Yamada. The other cat - Blanket, was sitting in his back, not minding if their owner is dead.
“Ah, nothing. He is just embarrassed” Shouta almost jumped from the couch “I’m not.”
“Yes you are.”
“Why?” Hitoshi cut in, not wanting to hear this weird argument for the rest of the day.
“Nothing-”
“Shouta just met our new neighbor. You know, those who moved in yesterday!” Hizashi smiled, with excitement in his eyes. He wanted to go and welcome them earlier but Aizawa would jump from the window if he needed to go too.
Shinsou blinked, not really reacting to that information. He knew about it. They got into an apartment a few floors above them yesterday night. Hitoshi doesn't really sleep the full night so he mostly knows what's happening in the building. Besides….
He also didn't want to welcome anyone. On that he can agree with Lord Coffee, here.
Before Hitoshi could ask again about the embarrassment part, Yamada continued.
“They bumped into each other on the stairs.”
“HE bumped into me. Not me!”
“It's the same” Zashi waves his hand, ignoring the red on Aizawa’s face “You need to tell me again about that little listener!”
“He isn't little, Zashi. Definitely not little.”
“But you say he was small!”
“Short.” Aizawa corrected through clenched teeth “And weird.”
“Weird?” Hitoshi finally could say anything. He was already sitting on the floor, playing with Bastard.
“Don't listen to him.”
“Oh listen to me!” Shouta was already sitting straight, sipping coffee. “I didn't hear that brat. I didn't hear any steps. And he was running, Toshi. Running.”
“...I get it?” He glanced at pops, seeing him only shaking his head. Oh okay. So it's “only agree” time, Kay.
“And what's wrong with that?”
“Shou, I think it's time to sleep.”
“Do I look like I need sleep?” he whipped his head at them, clenching hands on an almost empty cup.
The other two share a look.
“Yes.”
Almost midnight.
Hitoshi really should try to sleep but well, he knew he wouldn't do it. Earlier, he just watched some cat videos and a few streamers, but after a while it got boring. And he didn't want to wake up his parents soooo-
When he looked at his window, his mind started to think about the weird Bunny hero- vigilante? Probably.
What he can say, he is a curious person. So he took out his laptop and searched.
`Bunny hero. Animal costume vigilante…`
Still, nothing really matched the person he saw. Then he finally wrote one more `Bunny Vigilante` and searched for any clues. There was one vigilante with a rabbit clue, but from blue photos and comments, Shinsou didn't think that it's the same one.
@theIr0nBoy
Did you see that last Bunny action? He was so damn cool
@ir0ny_
The truck one? I was actually there!
@c0d_xxx
Aww man. I only saw it from Twitter
Shinsou read every comment. Every one was in English and was right under some foreign account… Seeing many photos of New York, it was easy to notice.
@mightmAn
It was epic, guys
Link to the news clip
He clicked the link. It showed him a New York’s news account and their latest tweet with an added short clip.
@MorningYN
On the last day, a truck with cargo was stolen. The vehicle accelerated between buildings, causing destruction. Fortunately, no one was harmed thanks to the local vigilante
[ The shaky video of someone recording the speedy truck. On the roof someone was standing. The person recording it only catch a glimpse of bunny hoodie as they jump into the truck ]
And that's what he was looking for! He looked through the similar tweets. Everything was mostly a blur of photos. But he found even a few selvies with that vigilante.
`So that's what he meant by vacations` Shinsou thought, staring at one of the selfies. But still. What the hell is an American vigilante doing in Japan??
OMAKE
Hisashi just came back from his patrol. Finally he could lay a little and relax! Maybe cuddle with Shou or watch a series with Toshi. The last time they started some apocalypse theme one-
The blonde stopped dead on his track.
He slowly walked back, looking straight into their bedroom door. Yeah, there he was. His lovely husband Aizawa Shouta, staring blankly at a cork board full of red thread. Drinking something that doesn't look like coffee.
And Hizashi didn't have it.
Still staring at him, he takes a few steps to the bathroom. They are gonna have to talk about super fixation after he changes to his normal clothes.
Sadly, Yamada couldn't have at least one normal person in this house. Walking next to his son's bedroom, he saw him leaning out the window and looking at something that wasn't probably a cat in the alley. He also caught a glimpse of binoculars.
Yeah. They really need to talk about it.
