Some parts of the novel, Specifically the Sky Areana Arc and the Circus arc was inspired by another fanfic of HunterxHunter written in Chinese. However when reading that book I wished it explored this unique world more in depth than it did. So while this fanfic is a fanfic of the original anime. It is also a fanfic of a fanfic.
