Chapter Text

The royal palace of Isla Esperanza was bathed in the gentle light of a late afternoon sun, its walls echoing with laughter and lively conversation. In the expansive courtyard, Law, Corazon, and Doflamingo gathered around a beautifully set table, enjoying a leisurely meal together. The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers and the sounds of the island"s vibrant life.

As Doflamingo playfully attempted to steal a bite from Law"s plate, Corazon raised an eyebrow and teased, "Looks like your boyfriend is getting quite naughty."

Law laughed and swatted Doflamingo"s hand away with a mock stern look. "Doffy, behave," he said, though his eyes sparkled with humor.

Doflamingo grinned, unabashed. "I can"t help it if the food on your plate always looks better than mine," he retorted, winking at Corazon, who chuckled in response, shaking his head. "I swear, you two are like kids sometimes. But it"s good to see you both so happy."

"Happy? He"s practically domesticated me," Doflamingo quipped, prompting another round of laughter from the group.

"You? Domesticated? That"s a sight I never thought I"d see," Corazon joked back, his laughter mingling with the late afternoon breeze.

The conversation shifted as they reminisced about their past adventures and the unlikely paths that had brought them together, with laughter often punctuating the stories, especially when Corazon shared exaggerated tales of Doflamingo"s more flamboyant antics from their youth.

"You know, I never imagined back then that we"d all end up here, like this... as a family," Doflamingo said, his tone softer, more reflective. He looked around at the beautiful setting and the company he cherished.

"It"s been an unexpected journey, but I wouldn"t change a thing," Law added, his voice carrying a sincerity that resonated with the other two.

Corazon nodded, his expression thoughtful. "It’s true. And to think, it all started with battles and schemes. Now look at us—sharing meals and laughter like a family."

As the day turned to evening, the sky painted with streaks of orange and purple, the three of them leaned back in their chairs, comfortable in the silence that settled around them. It was a comfortable quiet, filled with the unspoken acknowledgment of their shared bond.

Suddenly, Corazon broke the silence with a mischievous glint in his eye. "So, who"s doing the dishes?" he asked, glancing between Law and Doflamingo.

Without missing a beat, Doflamingo pointed at Law. "He is. I cooked, after all."

Law rolled his eyes but laughed, accepting his fate with good grace. "Fine, but you two are helping me later."

"Only if you promise not to critique my dishwashing technique," Corazon quipped as they stood to clear the table.

Their movements were easy and synchronized, a dance they had perfected over time. The laughter continued, the teasing light, and the affection palpable.

As they finished clearing the dishes, Doflamingo looked around the now tidy kitchen with exaggerated pride. "I can"t believe I became a full-time chef and part-time pirate at Isla Esperanza," he declared, striking a dramatic pose.

Corazon chuckled, leaning against the counter. "Full-time chef, huh? Last time I checked, the "chef" nearly burned the salad. How do you even do that, Doffy?"

Law, drying the last dish, joined in with a smirk. "He"s talented, what can I say? He finds new ways to challenge culinary norms—and kitchen safety."

Doflamingo feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart. "You wound me, Law. But you"re right; I am a trailblazer in the culinary world. Next on the menu, ice cream soup."

Law shook his head with a laugh, "Only if you"re the one taste-testing it."

The banter continued as they moved back to the living area, settling down with cups of coffee.

This day, like many others they had shared, closed with a simple, profound truth: they had found happiness and peace in each other"s company, building a life and a legacy on Isla Esperanza that would endure. Their reflections on the day were not just about looking back but also looking forward, to more days like this, filled with love, laughter, and the quiet contentment of being together as a "family".

Notes:

Heyy I would like a comment or two of what you think of the story >.< It was not a typical love story between two men, so it might not be everyone"s cup of tea. But I liked the sudden idea that came to my mind, so I wanted to theorized the idea. It was actually a lot darker in my mind, but it was hard for me to write all these dark and disturbing things, at the beginning. I wanted to focus on the themes "Forgiveness", "Family", and "Polyamory", though lot of people don"t like the last concept. The story ends here, but I have more in my mind, but I thought this story was weird and controversial enough, so lemme just stop here. But I think I might make a part 2 with that parts, it wont be this long, probably like 5 chapters. Def a lot weird.
Thank you so far for reading it, Hope you enjoyed it. I certainly did.
Until Next time ^.^
