Summary
Tim, a recently promoted Sergeant, is tasked with retiring Jerry McGrady who is also the father of his former boot, Ashley.
By chance, he meets Jerry’s neighbor, Lucy, and the two find an instant attraction. Ebbs and flows in life may pull them apart, but they can’t fight the magnetic force drawing them together again.
**AU where Ashley is a police officer and Lucy is a lifeguard. Some of this will replicate canon, some will diverge significantly.**
