Summary:

Wherein Matthew loves Ricky, but Ricky hated him. He despised the boy. That was exactly why he wouldn’t stop thinking about him… right? Why he made him feel things he had never felt before? Why he noticed the little things and payed attention to the small details on his face?
Whatever the reason was, Matthew always pissed Ricky off and caught his eye, but maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t because of hatred…

Ricky’s daily diary entry ♡
There’s nothing I hate more than a goody two shoes. And because the universe is working against me, my new seatmate happens to be the exact definition of one.
It shouldn’t be a big deal. I only have one class without Hao. It’s not like I can’t make friends, I’d just prefer not to especially since it’s one class and I hang out with Hao’s friends anyways.
But he scores better than me in everything and everyone likes him so why do I feel so fucking weird when-
“Are you writing something?” Matthew curiously asked.
Ricky closed the diary immediately and shook his head. “I was taking notes” He lied.
“Good idea! I’ll do that too wait…” He started taking out his stationary.
“Ricky! Matthew! Pay attention!” The professor called out to them.
Ricky rolled his eyes so hard they could’ve gotten stuck at the back of his eyeballs. Why was he getting pointed out when that darned Seok Matthew was talking to him first?

Ricky and Hao didn’t plan on going to the same college. But they did everything together, their goals and aspirations were similar, and so on. So the ended up going together to BP anyways.
They had both taken a major in performance arts, but since you could still choose your minor subject, Hao had taken orchestra and Ricky had taken artistic media.
Ricky had originally planned to take traditional art, but deemed himself not good enough and settled on media because he supposed it would be easy to ace.
When he walked in the first day, he got… looks. He knew it was because everyone thought he was beautiful and they meant no harm, but it made him uncomfortable sometimes, especially when all you get noticed for is your looks. He took the first seat that was unoccupied.
Ricky’s seatmate for this class was a small boy apparently named “Matthew”. He knew this because everyone was talking to him and calling his name, he seemed like the popular type. Ricky avoided speaking to him or anyone else, for that matter, because this class didn’t really matter and he’d rather just hang out with Hao’s friends.
“Hey, are you new?” Matthew suddenly asked him.
“Um, yeah.” Rick responded.
“So am I! Hey, I’m Seok Matthew! Nice to meet you!” He offered his hand.
“I’m Ricky” Ricky took his hand, not finding it important to mention his surname.
He didn’t really think much of the interaction after that.

Their first assignment was issued. Ricky worked hard on it, he didn’t know why he was trying so hard in this irrelevant class, but he really wanted to do good on it. When the work was marked individually, Ricky was second.
“Seok Matthew?” Ricky read the name in first place aloud.
He refreshed the college website’s home page but it stayed the same. He didn’t expect Matthew to ace the assignment at all. Ricky was frustrated but accepted it with a sigh.
The next time Ricky noticed his seatmate was when someone came up to him and asked “Matthew, can you complete this assignment for me?” And he said yes almost immediately. Ricky rolled his eyes. He saw him as a threat to his grades now. His academic rival. He needed to graduate. This was BP, the most prestigious college in all of Seoul and Ricky wasn’t going to fuck up when he had already somehow managed to get in. He tried to further distance himself from the smiley and cheerful boy without saying a word.

Ricky’s daily diary entry ♡
Seok Matthew is getting on my nerves. It’s like all of my brain is used up in hating him. All I think about are his stupid smiles and grins towards me which have no meaning. I already know I’m not supposed to help him when someone is bothering him because it’s none of my business. I hate a goody two shoes so why do I always want to step up? I don’t know. We’ve never had a real conversation but he’s always smiling at me. It makes me so… it makes me feel weird. Why is he smiling at me when I don’t even like him? It just makes me confused.
-Ricky ♡

Ricky woke up the following morning feeling unwell. His body was sore and his forehead and neck were warm, but he still decided to ignore it and go to college like usual.
When he reached he found out today was a “free day” for his department because all their classes had gotten canceled. They had also announced that they would be going on a college trip the next day to the beach. Ricky was contemplating not going until he found Hao and Hao practically begged on his knees for them to go together.
They could roam around college on their free day, (because frankly no one cared as long as you showed up to your regular classes), or go back to their apartments, or hang out in the small park close to the college.
Ricky chose the latter. He was offered to hang out with Hao and his friends but he rejected because he still wasn’t feeling the best and just wanted to clear his mind.
He sat down on a bench and took enjoyed the comfortable view. Happy couples walking together, dog owners happily walking their dog, friend groups sitting on the grass lawns and overall people just enjoying life.
Ricky took out his sketchbook from his bag and placed it on his lap. He flipped through the pages which were all… Matthew.
Ricky hated him. He did. And that was the reason he was on his mind all the fucking time, right? He didn’t think anything of it because it had to make sense.
He started to sketch, he wasn’t sure what he was drawing but he just needed to clear his head.
“Is that the overview of the park from here?” Matthew asked with his “stupidly cute shocked expression” as Ricky had named it in his mind (he would never admit it though, obviously)
It took a few minutes for Ricky to realize Matthew was referring to his sketch, and when he did notice it, he nodded just slightly. He hoped to scare him off with his poker face, but it (obviously) didn’t work.
“Cool! I didn’t know you were an artist!” He replied enthusiastically and sat down next to Ricky. Ricky was getting more and more annoyed and irritated, clenching his fists. He really wanted to be alone at the moment.
“It’s a hobby.” He replied dryly.
“Would it be okay if I see more of your work?” Matthew asked, overly polite.
That’s what pushed Ricky over the edge. Matthew’s sweeter-than-honey tone. His friendly approach towards Ricky even though Ricky has been nothing but rude to him. Him asking to see more of his work when it was all just sketches of him from different angles because he was infesting Ricky’s mind like some kind of virus which Ricky didn’t understand and-
“Look, you don’t have to pretend like you want to talk to me because you wanna keep your “perfect” image or whatever it is you fucking want. Keep me the fuck out of it. You don’t know anything about me, so why are you so nosy? Why are you so nice to me when it’s obvious I dislike you? Oh wait, I know why. It’s probably ‘cuz of my face, huh? “He’s so handsome, I should try to befriend him”? Shit like that? I’m sick of people like you.” Ricky snapped, he poured out everything he was thinking in that one outburst of his emotions, everything he thought about Matthew and every reason he disliked him.
Matthew seemed shocked, if anything. Then his expression contorted, he seemed so confused and it looked like he was going to cry. His eyes were already filling up with tears.
Ricky immediately regretted suddenly snapping on the poor boy.
“I’m sorry, I-“
Before he could say anything more, Matthew quietly stood up and left.

Ricky’s daily dairy entry ♡
I fucked up really bad this time, huh? I don’t know why I’m like this. I push everyone away. I wish I was normal. I wish I was okay and didn’t do this every fucking time.
I don’t want to write much today.

-Ricky ♡

The next day, Ricky was thankfully feeling better. He picked out his outfit, his favorite button up, patterned with small palm trees all over. He noticed the length having shrunk, almost acting as a crop top. But it was gonna be hot anyways, and he thought he looked good, so he decided to wear it.
Students were loaded into buses as soon as he reached the campus.
He was seated with Kim Gyuvin. Gyuvin and Ricky were already close due to Hao introducing them to each other, (Hao was the most extroverted introvert Ricky had ever seen) so the ride was really comfortable even though Ricky and Gyuvin fought like Tom and Jerry at every chance they possibly got.
Half-way through the bus ride, Ricky noticed Matthew staring at him and Gyuvin. He seemed cross, and rightfully so.
Ricky thought about how to apologize and made mental note to do it as soon as he could.

After they reached the resort, Ricky realized he had really underestimated the heat. He felt like he was going to be cooked pressure cooker-style any moment now.
When everyone gathered around to hear their roommates for the night, it just suffocated Ricky even more. He undid the buttons of his shirt to help relieve some of the heat.
He wasn’t really listening as Sung Hanbin, the batch representative, read the pairings out aloud.
“Hanbin and Zhang Hao… Gyuvin and Gunwook… Ricky and Matthew…”
Wait, Ricky and Matthew?!
Ricky bit his lip and mentally cursed at whoever decided their roommates. It was going to be the most awkward night ever and Ricky only prayed that Matthew was the type that fell asleep early.
He searched the crowd to look for Matthew and read his reaction, but when he did find him, he was already staring at Ricky. Or more like Ricky’s torso. His expression seemed to suggest that he was too busy ogling at Ricky’s half-naked upper half to notice they were roommates.
Ricky immediately looked away and stared at the ground in embarrassment. His face heated up but he tried his best to compose himself.
But it was really hard when he could feel Matthew’s eyes on him.

The day went by quickly because time passes way too fast for anyone’s liking when you’re having fun.
Ricky hung out with Hao, Hanbin and Gyuvin. They played beach volleyball, swam together, sun-tanned, applied sunscreen on eachother and overall just had a fun time, allowing Ricky to forget all about his little fuck up and all about Matthew altogether for the day.
As it got darker, they all gathered to eat.
Ricky didn’t find Matthew on the long table but didn’t think much of it. They all called it a day and went into their respective rooms for the night.
Ricky hadn’t talked to Matthew once after yesterday, and he wanted to apologize, but he really didn’t know where to start. And honestly, he was too tired for this right now, and he felt sore again, just like yesterday. Although, he did feel a bit concerned when he didn’t find Matthew in their shared room.
As soon as he lay down on his bed, he couldn’t seem to fall asleep. He shuffled and turned alot, but couldn’t seem to get comfortable.
He sighed and sat up, thinking a walk might help.
He quietly opened the sliding door and stepped outside. His legs felt wobbly for some reason, but he continued to take in the fresh air.
Out of the corner of his eye, Ricky noticed Matthew sitting on the sand by himself.
He was curious as to why and made his way towards him, but his legs seemed to be giving up because when he walked closer to Matthew, he immediately felt dizzy and almost fell on his ass.
Matthew noticed and caught him just before he could hit the ground.
Therefore, they were now an awkward tangle of arms and legs trying to keep themselves off the ground.
“Are you okay? What was that?” Matthew said, furrowing his eyebrows in concern.
“I feel like… I’m gonna faint and I don’t… feel very good.” Ricky managed to breathe out.
“Let’s get you back to the room, hm?” Matthew seemed to be talking more to himself than Ricky and propped him up, placing his arm around his shoulder.
After Matthew basically carried Ricky’s weight back to the room, one touch to his forehead indicated he had a high fever. Ricky’s brain felt foggy and he couldn’t even tell if any of this was real or a fever dream. Nevertheless, Matthew stayed by his side and placed drenched mini towels on his forehead, changing them frequently. He really took care of him well.
Ricky wasn’t completely conscious and didn’t notice when he had been lulled into deep slumber in Matthew’s arms.

Ricky woke up the next morning in the silk pajamas he had packed, which was strange, because he didn’t remember changing into them.
He had a massive headache and couldn’t remember much from yesterday except the fact that, A, Ricky had been a complete idiot to try going for a walk when he already felt like his health wasn’t in the greatest condition. And B, Matthew had not only taken care of him, which helped his fever come down (because he was feeling better than ever, currently) but he had also helped Ricky change.
Ricky felt extremely embarrassed at that fact and prayed Matthew didn’t mention anything about last night-
“You finally up?” Matthew asked as he walked out of the bathroom, toothbrush in mouth, wearing shorts and a towel around his neck, wet hair indicating he had just come out of the shower. And he wore no shirt. No shirt.
Ricky felt embarrassed yet again and thought he was going to overheat any moment now.
“Well, obviously.” Ricky said as he tried to avert his eyes as soon as possible.
“Breakfast is about to be served, then we have to get on the bus again.” Matthew said, “Are you feeling better now, by the way?”
“I’m better. Well, I have a massive headache and my memories are foggy and I barely remember anything, but other than that.” He responded at an attempt to be witty, when in reality, he was still unsure why he felt so tense and why his face and neck felt so hot. He lived with Hao and Hanbin stayed over multiple times. He had seen them both shirtless and so had they. So, why was it so different around Matthew?

Matthew had seemed to forgive Ricky even before Ricky had gotten the chance the apologize, which he found very strange. Nevertheless, Ricky didn’t complain nor did he mention it.
They were now… normal classmates was the best way to describe it. Ricky wasn’t very dismissive anymore, and Matthew was somehow friendlier.
When they were given a group project in class and the number of partners didn’t matter as long as they didn’t exceed 5, they most definitely partnered up together.
Well, more like, as soon as the teacher walked out, Matthew said, “Let’s be partners!” And Ricky nodded enthusiastically.
The project itself was simple enough, they just needed to take any piece of media, (a movie, a series, a song), and analyze and give a presentation on it.
Matthew and Ricky discussed over a few topics to base their presentation on, and then Matthew’s face lit up as he suggested they present on “Howl’s Moving Castle”.
“I haven’t watched that though…” Ricky spoke.
“Wanna come over to watch it today? The presentation’s after a while but shouldn’t we watch it as soon as possible so we can get on with the presentation soon?” Matthew asked.
Ricky shrugged. “Sure, I’m free today.”
“See you after classes behind the library, then.” Matthew smiled his signature sunshine smile.
“Yeah, see you.”

As soon as Ricky walked into Matthew’s apartment, he was met with the scent of fresh bread, houseplants, and flowers at the same time. It blended together to set a comfortable atmosphere in the cozy place.
It was an average apartment for a college first-year, the living room contained a beige couch, a TV, an open kitchen, a rug. Nothing really special, yet still neat.
“We should just watch it on my laptop in my room because it’s more comfortable, don’t you think? You’re so tall and your legs are so long so we can’t fit on the couch.” Matthew spoke out, awaiting Ricky’s opinion.
“I don’t mind.” He shrugged.
Matthew walked inside the room and Ricky’s jaw dropped as he saw the interior of the bedroom.
The walls were painted a pastel yellow, with fresh white bedsheets and curtains. It was filled with sanrio (especially pompompurin), pokemon, digimon, and squishmallows.
Ricky pointed at the huge pompompurin plushie sitting at the top of the bed.
“It looks like you.”
Matthew smiled exactly in the same manner as the plushie and shook his head. “No way. It’s too cute.”

As soon as the movie started and the main love interest, Howl, came up on screen, Matthew exclaimed. “He’s so much like you!”
Ricky pretended to be upset. “Are you telling me any tall blond guy looks like me?”
Matthew giggled. “It’s not about him being tall and blond. It’s his personality. Just watch.”
The deeper they got into the movie, the more they both focused.
“You know my favorite part about this movie?” Matthew asked as the movie neared it’s end.
“What is it?”
“Howl still loves Sophie even when she becomes old and undesirable to others.” Matthew looked into Ricky’s eyes and smiled after a moment.
“I like your eyes, they’re pretty.”

Ricky’s daily diary entry ♡
Matthew told me my eyes are pretty. He looked at me really… like he was really in love. Which makes me feel so… I don’t know.
I know I’m probably in love too (if Matthew even likes me) but I need to ask Hao first. Even if my heart beats fast when he’s around, I look forward to meeting him everyday, and i feel myself blush at his sweet words, I still need to be sure.
It feels weird to be writing all this at his house T_T. Even if he’s getting dinner ready.

-Ricky ♡

Even when Ricky was making his way home after eating with Matthew, that last conversation still stuck around in his head.
He walked in quietly and smirked mischievously when he noticed Hanbin and Hao having a moment.
Just as their faces were inches away from eachother, Hao’s hands around Hanbin’s neck and Hanbin’s hands on Hao’s waist…
Ricky knocked on the door loudly and spoke as loudly as he could, physically being unable to scream. “Anyone home?!”
Hao jumped and looked at Ricky furiously.
“Ricky, you idiot! You startled me!”
“Ricky, I- didn’t see you there…” Hanbin smiled awkwardly.
As soon as Ricky sat down on the dining table he sighed loudly, waiting to be asked what’s wrong.
It didn’t seem to work because Hanbin was using the bathroom and Hao was too busy using his phone.
Ricky sighed again. And again. And again until finally-
“God, what is it? You’ve been sighing and gasping like a thirsty cat for so long” Hao said, not taking his eyes off his phone.
Ricky snatched Hao’s phone away, turning it off and placing it on the table.
“Hey-“
“I need your advice.” Ricky said, seriously.
“On what?” Hao nudged, suddenly intrigued.
“What does it mean when someone is all you think about, especially their smile, is overly nice to you and your whole face feels hot and your heart beats fast when they’re around?”
Hao’s jaw dropped open. Then he covered his mouth with his hands. Then his eyes widened and he giggled.
“Are you really asking me what love is?” Hao giggled yet again. “So, who’s the lucky person?”
Ricky’s eyes almost popped out of his skull. He had his suspicions but hearing it from Hao made it worse. He froze for a good 3 minutes and then he took a deep a deep breath and calmed down. “I don’t love this person, I’m friends with him. And love is a social construct.” Ricky joked about the last part, trying to relieve some tension.
“It’s a he too?! We’re really the same in every way, huh.” Hao wiggled his eyebrows. “So who’s the lucky guy?”
Ricky really contemplated whether to tell him or not. But since he really needed advice and Zhang Hao was his best friend and comfort person, he obliged.
“Seok Matthew.” Ricky uttered in a small voice.
“Matthew?! That guy that’s always around you?! I should’ve known!” Hao threw a fit all while being unable to keep his laughter in.
Ricky punched him in the shoulder. “Jerk.”
“Ow, that hurt!” Hao pouted. “Fine, I’ll be serious. I don’t really know much about him but he hangs out with us sometimes when you don’t wanna. He’s Hanbin’s high school best friend. He seems like a good guy.”
“He is. He’s too nice. It makes me feel weird around him.” Ricky rested the back of his head on the chair and groaned.
“That’s why you wanna have babies with him, correct? I should’ve known you were into nice guys-”
Ricky lifted his fist to hit Hao again but Hao dodged and stuck his tongue out at him.
Suddenly Hanbin walked out from behind the corner of the wall, jaw dropped.
“Ricky, you like Matthew?!”

Ricky sighed and took his diary out of his backpack upstairs. He might need to write two entries today, he was going crazy.
Ricky took out his diary, it was placed with the back cover in front since he was in a hurry to not get caught writing by Matthew.
He opened it to the start and looked for today’s date and…Ricky screamed, the loud noise echoing all throughout the house.
Hao and Hanbin barged into his room, ready to kill whatever monster had kidnapped Ricky-
“What was that?! You scared us!” Hao whined.
Ricky held his head in his hands.
“I left my diary at Matthew’s house. This is Matthew’s!” He said pointing to the diary, now flipped over, showing a differently decorated front cover.
Ricky remembered seeing a diary the same as his on the desk he was writing on. He automatically assumed it was Matthew’s, and must’ve picked it up in a hurry.
Hao and Hanbin were both in shock.
Hanbin tried being optimistic. “You didn’t write anything about him, right?”
“I wrote that I think I’m in love with him.” Ricky whined. “I’m so stupid” He kicked his feet.
Hao smiled mischievously. “Let’s read his diary too.”
Ricky’s eyes widened. But then he considered it.
He decided he’d only read from the day of the school trip and onwards, still wanting to keep some of Matthew’s privacy in tact.

Matthew’s star diary ☆
Ricky just fell asleep. Honestly, he’s so cute. I was a bit upset yesterday and today when I felt jealous of Gyuvin laughing and having a good time with him.
But he was so sick, and he kept saying such cute things, I couldn’t be mad at him. He said he didn’t like me because I was a goody two shoes, and because his Hao hyung had suffered because of such people before. He stepped in when people went too far, but they blamed Hao for annoying their “friends” instead of thanking him. This happened multiple times, according to him.
I told him I wanted to be nice to everyone. To be kind. To be a good person.
He teared up for me. He’s such a soft soul. He told me it’s okay to be vulnerable and that stuck with me.
He told me… he told me he thought I only liked him for his face. That was another reason he disliked me. But when I told him it was because he was so cool and I loved his personality and how he talked with his friends, he was so happy.
And then… and then he said he might be falling in love with me.

Ricky choked reading the last part aloud.
“I said what?!”
Hao giggled. Hanbin tried to hold it in, but ended out laughing out loud.
“What’s so fucking funny?!” Ricky groaned.
“It’s just… It must be so obvious… that he liked you… how dense are you…” Hanbin failed miserably in trying to control his laughter.
Hao joined him, both of them having a good time while Ricky contemplated the meaning of his life at this very moment.
Regardless, he moved forward. The next few entries were similar, talking about how cute Ricky is. But then the one that really caught his eye was from… today.

30th June, 2023
Matthew’s star diary ☆
Today Ricky looked really pretty. He’s so soft spoken and… God, why’s he the only thing on my mind?
His eyes are really so pretty, I wanted to… I wanted to kiss him today. I know I shouldn’t feel like this, but the hope that he might like me is still there.
He said it himself that day and…
I know I love Ricky now.

Ricky blushed so hard that he felt he was actually going to explode. Reading Matthew’s true feelings was… too much. He felt happy but anxious at the same time. Should he even bring it up or should he cave in his apartment and never go to university again-
Hao could somehow tell what Ricky was thinking just from his expression. He rubbed his back.
“Hey, it’s okay. But I genuinely think you should confess because he might think you don’t feel the same if you don’t bring it up at all.”
Hanbin agreed.
Ricky gathered up some courage. “Okay.”
Hao tsk-ed. “You can’t just say “okay” like that. We have to rehearse.”
“Rehearse for…?”
“The confession!” Hanbin said, excitedly.

Since Hanbin knew Matthew the best, he was the one Ricky was confessing to for the time being. They made him wear an ugly blond wig and he depicted Matthew’s English-accent pronunciation of Korean perfectly.
“Ricky, here’s your diary.” Hanbin handed Ricky a random notebook and pronounced “diary” dramatically in English.
Ricky couldn’t stop giggling but alas, he spoke the practiced lines perfectly, and their rehearsal was over after what felt like a thousand tries.

The next day, Ricky braced himself.
I can do this.
When he saw Matthew in the hallway and they made eye contact, Ricky immediately turned around.
I can’t do this.
But as he was the luckiest person in the world, Hao was watching from behind and pushed him back.
Ricky took a deep breath and composed himself because he knew Hao wouldn’t let him run away even if he wanted to.
“Matthew! Um… hi.” Ricky attempted to start the conversation naturally while walking towards him.
Matthew looked at him and waved with a smile.
Ricky lowered his backpack from his shoulder and took out Matthew’s diary. Similarly, Matthew did the same with Ricky’s diary.
They both awkwardly stared at each other, waiting for the other to start the conversation.
“So I…” They both started in unison.
“You first!” Matthew insisted.
Ricky took a deep breath. “Matthew, I think… I think I like you. Like a lot. Like “I love you” worthy liking. You’re really admirable and funny and have the bubbliest personality ever but you still choose to surround yourself with someone as boring as me… that’s not the point. I just wanted to say, do you want to eat together sometime?” Ricky spoke out in a rush, all at once.
Ricky could tell the clogs in Matthew’s brain were turning as he processed all that Ricky had spilled out. And then he smiled the widest and most beautiful smile Ricky had ever seen.
Before Ricky could react, Matthew jumped on him, hugging him. Ricky gently wrapped his hands around Matthew’s waist.
“You’re cute-“
Matthew interrupted Ricky by gently pressing his lips against Ricky’s cheek. The way Ricky blushed at the soft graze of Matthew’s lips against his cheekbone was actually alarming. Matthew almost tripped due to standing on his tip-toes but Ricky held onto his waist gently to keep him from falling backwards.
“What was that?”
“An excuse for you to hold me.” Matthew giggled and looked up at Ricky. “I was waiting for you to say that forever.”
Ricky smiled, and held Matthew’s hand.
“We should get to class.”

Ricky’s daily diary entry ♡
Today is d-day. It’s finally the day of the college art exhibition, and Matthew is finally gonna see. I hope he likes-

“Ricky, let’s go!” Matthew called out, to which Ricky yelled out a “coming, love!”
The snow looked exceptionally beautiful as they walked to their destination.
“The snowfall looks so pretty.” Matthew spoke out to Ricky, intertwining their fingers.
“Not as pretty as you.” Ricky’s sweet words made Matthew peck his cheek.
Matthew stuck out his tongue to collect snowflakes on it while Ricky questioned just how cuter he could get.
As they reached the college exhibition, the numerous pieces fascinated both Matthew and Ricky. Ricky had soon learnt they had that in common as well.
Until they reached the biggest piece. A huge canvas hung on the wall, bigger than anything else, the main show.
It was a huge hand-painted portrait of Matthew smiling, capturing all of his smile lines, the way his eyes crinkled deeply, his fluffy hair, his rosy cheeks, every single detail.
Matthew was so in awe of the work that he was rendered speechless. His mouth opened as he deeply mouthed “woah”.
Matthew focused on the signature at the bottom left corner.
“Your Howl”
Matthew looked up at Ricky.
“Like it?” Ricky smiled smugly.
Matthew hugged Ricky so hard he could feel himself suffocating.
Before Ricky could say anything, Matthew stood on his tip-toes and kissed Ricky’s lips, smiling as he wrapped his arms around his neck.
When they pulled away, Matthew smiled.
“I love you”
Ricky chuckled.
“What’s so funny?” Matthew asked.
“Alot has changed since our first meeting, huh?”
