What Anton disliked most in his life was his birthday. When he was young he had always thought of birthdays as happy days but now when he turned 5 he realized that it was all just a lie. A child of 5, had the ability to think that his birthday was nothing but a shitty day.
Anton had cried on his every birthday. When he turned 5, he realized that he had to marry some random human that his family would choose for him. When he turned 6, he got that maid trauma. When he turned 7, he realized that he was nothing but a burden.
So just like that Anton birthdays gave him many thing to remember but they weren't good memories, they were plain scars. Scars that he would never ever heal from. (or so he thought.)
That's what he had thought until today, on his 19th birthday!
Anton definitely could feel that today was different, his birthday was different. Maybe it's because he turned 19? Or maybe because it's his first birthday away from his parents? Or maybe because it's his first birthday with his husband. His first with Wonbin.
He still doesn't know what it is but all he know is that he's standing in front of Wonbin, grinning from ear to ear.
"You seem happy today." Wonbin said as he placed his book down and gave his full attention to Anton.
"Yeah I am!! I mean we are holding my birthday party." Anton replied happily.
"Most definitely we are, but still it's just a party, my love." Wonbin said with a smile.
"But it's, it's different for me you know? My parents never held a party for me so it's a pretty big deal for me." Anton replied.
"Well it's not really okay that they never held a party for you, but don't worry, I'm here now. I will hold a party for you not only on your birthday but also when you are happy, when you achieve something small or big or just whenever you want." Wonbin said with determination.
"You seem serious, are you being for real?" Anton asked.
"You bet your ass, I am."
"Nah you seem too serious so I guess thank you?"
"You don't have to say thank you for something small, not to me atleast." Wonbin said as he pulled Anton in a tight embrace.
"It's rude if I don't say it." Anton said.
"To you only." Wonbin replied affectionately.
Anton just smiled in response.
"But I swear, I'm here now. I will give you things you want, things that you love, things that makes you happy, every little things that you deserve, every big things you deserve. I will give you everything." Wonbin said as he kissed Anton's cheek.
"I know, I trust you." Anton replied and returned the kiss.
With that Wonbin hugged Anton a little more tightly. Not wanting to let go of him. He wanted to hold him like that forever and just keep him happy, because honestly that's what Anton deserved. To be happy.
"Come on, why don't you sleep till evening?" Wonbin said as he made Anton lie down.
"But--"
"No buts love, just sleep. I will wake you up when we have to get ready."
"But why do i have to sleep?"
"Because you might not sleep today at night."
"Huh?" Anton blushed.
"God no, that's not what I meant. I mean you have to stay awake the whole party." Wonbin chuckled.
"Uh oh yeah, yeah I'll go to sleep." Anton said in a hurry and went under the blankets. Too embarrassed to come out.
Wonbin just watched him lovingly.
"Hey, thank you so much for everything." Anton said as he peeked under the blankets.
"Like I said, don't say thank you to me. You're my husband afterall. Giving you things and making your wishes come true is my priority."
Anton just chuckled in response and went to sleep.
"Thank you so much for being born." Wonbin whispered as he tugged the strand of Anton's hair and kissed his forehead.
And Anton could swore that he didn't cry.
(he cried a lot when Wonbin went out.)
