Chapter 1: Author's Note

Chapter Text

Making my official fanfiction return with a fanfiction of my favorite non-canon gay couple.

I've never successfully written a gay romance before, but there is just so much sexual tension between the two characters and I am very excited to write these two exploring Los Angeles with these two Firefighters.

Be prepared for lots of crying, swooning, and kicking your feet giddily.

Obviously, the soundtrack to the book is the entirety of "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology" as there are so many songs that are Buck and Eddie core. Now that Buck is canonically bisexual, this just felt like the perfect time to write this!

A lot of events that occur in this book are loosely based on events from the show, just with the order changed to create a more cohesive story. Some characters might also be changed as this is solely based on my interpretations and ideas of what I want to happen between the two characters.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!
