"Hey, is Andrew home?"
Julia asks at the front door to the Graves' family apartment, sporting a nervous smile on her face that accentuates her freckles. Stupid fat whore, Ashley thinks absentmindedly, seeing her brother's girlfriend's large tits. She bites at the inside of her cheek at the realization that she's nervous. Good.
"No." She replies flatly.
"Oh..." Julia frowns. "Where is he? Can I wait until he comes back?"
"He went to the store or something," it's a lie. She doesn't need to know that. Ashley keeps her mouth open to reject her request before a smirk pulls at her lips, realizing something. "Sure, I guess."
Julia smiles back at her, stepping into the apartment and looking around.
"...Wanna watch a scary movie?" Ashley asks, her smirk shifting into a devilish grin.
Julia turns back to face her, forgetting all about her fear. "Sure!"
And that's how the two ended up sitting on the couch together. Big and squishy, and Julia's cheeks heat up when Ashley scoots closer, seeing her hand reach into the popcorn bowl. The movie in question is something she's been wanting to see for a while, causing her to wonder why Andrew didn't say anything about it. His sister is weird, though, and she can't understand her. Normally, she's so distant and rude— maybe she's just like that?
Another thing she's noticed is that the gore in this movie is absurdly extreme. Julia's starting to struggle to keep her eyes on the screen, a sinking feeling creeping into her stomach. Sure, she's wanted to see this, but she didn't know the movie was that bad.
Julia can't believe Ashley is just smiling, casually eating a candy bar.
"You're desensitized to this, huh?" She asks, goosebumps prickling her arms. The atmosphere isn't as warm as she originally thought, becoming something she can't help but sweat at. Julia doesn't like this.
"Yeah," she answers, keeping her gaze fixated on the screen currently displaying a woman getting her head sawed off. "You're not?" Ashley can't help but tease, amused. Stupid bitch.
Just as Julia is about to respond, she hears a scream come behind her. She jolts, turning her head to find the source. That sounded so close. "...Did you hear that?" She asks, suddenly panicked.
"Huh? Hear what?" Ashley asks. "It's just the movie." She dips her hand back into the popcorn bowl, eating another scoop of buttery goodness.
"No, I-"
"Maybe we're about to get sawed in half and sold on the dark web."
"Please don't joke like that..." Julia frowns, hearing banging on the door.
Ashley bursts out laughing, pleased with the fact that Julia doesn't know her precious boyfriend — her brother — is locked up where she can't find him. Throwing an arm around the chubby girl's shoulder, Julia blushes more, feeling some of her fear eased away. Poor little Julia is so easy.
