"Old things have strange hungers," All for One mused. Izuku felt like vomiting. "And you, my child, are positively ancient."
"M'not yours," Izuku slurred, head lolling. "Don'... don' touch me."
The monster cooed, brushing his hair out of his eyes. "Do not fret, little void. This will all be over soon. I will make you a king, and no one will ever hurt you again."
You're hurting me, he wanted to scream. You're the one that's hurting me.
"M'scared," was what came out instead. He didn't mean to. He didn't want to seek comfort from this beast, this vile thing that spoke of kinship and forgiveness and peace.
All for One frowned. It pulled at his not-face, at the mass of healed tissue that seemed to wrap over itself a thousand times. Izuku tried to paint a nightmare over its blank canvas, imagining a gaping world-devouring maw and stars for teeth and pits of endless darkness for eyes. His sight blurred, but all he could see was the frown on the monster's lips, and it looked like understanding.
"This world has tainted you. Where there is salvation, you see misery. But no matter, son; this will be your last year of abstinence. Guilt cannot fill you," he cradled Izuku's chin, smiling. "Only power."
