Work Text:
The Autobots’ five human friends were careful not to reveal their secret about alien robots until Fred gave a little too much information about his life.
“Aliens?” The female he’s talking to asks.
“Yeah, aliens, but he means in a movie,” Billy argues, hoping to end the conversation.
“He just mentioned the name of our town, so how is he talking about a movie?” The female questions.
“Hey, guys, Red —,” a boy with red-orange hair says, “uh, hello, ma’am.”
The boy isn’t sure what to say and sees Billy and Fred looking nervous.
They started talking about the Autobots. Rad concludes. How do we get out of this?
Fast forward ninety minutes. The five Autobot allies can’t believe they just brought an adult to the Autobot base, while all the Autobots can’t believe their existence was revealed to another human. After Optimus tells everyone there’s no going back, and they’ll have to trust the woman, introductions happen.
“My name is (F/N (L/N),” the female introduces herself, “I know it’ll be hard to believe, but I swear I won’t tell anyone.”
Optimus knows the other Autobots and possibly the four kids will have to learn to trust (Y/N), but he lets her stay at the base. Believing everyone should learn to trust her rather than sending her off. She’ll go home when the kids go home. The Autobots introduce these before returning to their tasks. (Y/N) sighs, feeling like she can relax. The femme questions how she got herself into this situation.
I should have assumed Fred had an overactive imagination. (Y/N) argues with herself.
The femme goes to explore the large base.
A routine is established. (Y/N) goes to the base on her days off. She is free not to, but while feeling intimidated by the large robots, she still wants to go to the base. In the two weeks since her first encounter with the Autobots, (Y/N) has learned about the Autobots individually and the war they all fight in. She’s drawn to Red Alert. She’s too shy to talk to him, and the Autobot doesn’t seem interested in conversation while working. (Y/N) isn’t sure why she likes to be with Red Alert when Hot Shot and Sideswipe have fun with the kids.
After a few weeks, (Y/N) is invited to join the kids and most of the Autobots on a mission. While she’s comfortable with the Autobots in the base, she’s not feeling up to going on a mission.
“You’re not going with them?” Red Alert asks.
“No.”
Red Alert sighs, displeased (Y/N) didn’t leave the base with the others. He knows if he asks her to leave, she’ll ask questions, and he’d rather not explain the issue.
The mech struggles to ignore the pain. Even with (Y/N) watching him, Red Alert walks away. She doesn’t follow him. Believing he had to get something.
A few minutes pass and (Y/N) hears a strange sound. As she listens, she believes it’s not machinery. She goes to find the source of the sound.
(Y/N) can’t believe what she’s seeing.
My gosh, he’s like a human male. (Y/N) thinks. I don’t think this action is entirely for the reason a human make would do this.
(Y/N) shyly walks towards Red Alert in disbelief about what her mind is thinking. She’s shy, hasn’t told Red Alert her feelings, now the femme wants to aid him.
“W-what are y-you doing here?” Red Alert nervously asks.
(Y/N) Is certain she would see red cheeks if she could see Red’s cheeks.
“Was figuring out what the odd noise was,” (Y/N) explains as she gets closer to the mech, “sounds like pain. Uh, I can help you.”
“No, (Y/N), you —,” Red Alert tries to protest, but the human femme’s hands rubbing his spike feels so good.
How was I shy until now? (Y/N) questions. Is it because I love Red?
Red Alert can’t believe (Y/N) is undressing. He knows the femme doesn’t think his spike can fit in her valve, but does not know what she could be doing. The femme climbs onto his spike, sitting on it like it’s a log, and moves her body on part of it. This adds to Red’s relief, but he still can’t believe (Y/N) is doing this. He looks at her figure, studying it. He didn’t think he’d feel he’s doing more than learning what the femme human body looks like nude. Red Alert feels a strange feeling. He’s not sure if it’s because of his heat cycle.
“(Y/N) continues her action for a few minutes. Before she says she’s done, she watches fluid spraying out from Red’s spike.
Just like human men. She thinks.
“Thank you,” Red Alert says as (Y/N) gets off his spike.
He teaches her about the subterranean heat cycle, which even while being told this happens regardless of if a Cybertronian mech likes anyone, (Y/N) wonders if Red likes her.
Should I tell him? She thinks. Stop being shy and tell him, (Y/N).
“You’re welcome. I.. um...”
“What’s wrong?”
“I know this is bad, but I...love you, Red.”
(Y/N) prepares herself for a lecture about how foolish she’s being. Red Alert worries seeing (Y/N) is afraid as he picks her up. She’s afraid to look at him.
“(Y/N), it’s ok,” Red Alert assures her. The femme sees Red is smiling, “it’ll be a challenge but I love you too and don’t want to decide we can only be friends.”
The femme smiles. Red brings his servo to his face, allowing (Y/N) to kiss his lips.
With the uncertainty of how difficult getting this mini-con is, the moment is short to avoid getting caught. (Y/N) gets dressed while Red cleans the mess he made. he two then return to what Red was working on, both in happier moods.
