Chapter Text
‘It isn’t that bad’ Laurance tries to assure himself ,as he looks in the mirror for the seventy-fifth time; as if his hair was just going to magically go back to normal. Irene was he never being left home alone again.
And Cadenza was going to kill him, because not only had he stolen her hair dye for this absolute miserable of a job.But…. He also did it in her bathroom.
And the counter may have or may have not been stained to hell. Stained to hell was putting it nicely.
And holy Irene he had school in the morning! He’d have to be trapped in a confined space with an angry Cadenza and with his ugly newly acquired turd hair. And then have to later go to school with said ugly turd hair.
He doesn’t even really know how this happened! He swears.
One moment he’s saying goodbye to Cadenza(who was staying the night at their friend Lucinda’s house) then lying down to watch a movie, when he picked up his phone and started scrolling.
After a while of mindlessly scrolling on instagram he came across a photo of a certain someone his brain did not like to be reminded of. Which in turn led to his brain being very reminiscent, which in turn led to the memories of the breakup he decided to bury in the back of his mind to resurface.
And oh- that’s probably how that happened. Laurance got angsty over his breakup with gene and decided to take it out on his hair! Good going Laur!
And that’s not even to mention the fact that he somehow also got ahold of the scissors.
So yeah his hair was now an ugly shade of brown and a considerable amount shorter. Great.
Irene knows how he’s gonna walk into school tomorrow.
