Summary
“This is alright then?” Gale asked, trailing the tip of his nose against the other’s.
“It won’t be if you keep stopping to chat,” Astarion said, trying to catch another kiss.
“I just want to be sure,” Gale murmured against his lips. “If you’ll allow me, I’d like to serve you tonight. But I need to know that you’d want that first.”
Astarion hummed, running his tongue along his bottom lip. In the early days of their travels, he had spent some time scheming on how to get this wizard to sojourn in his bed. It never would have been like this, though, and he never expected that in the undertaking he would have found himself tangled up the way he was now. Had it not been stopped for two centuries, Gale would have had his heart hammering in his chest at just the invitation to speak tonight. His plans had gotten so far away from him; it had all gotten so complicated in a way he knew he couldn’t fix. And knee deep in uncertainty, he found himself insatiably curious about what his man had to offer him.
“Darling,” he purred, “how could I say no?”
