Later that day, when it was nighttime, everyone was back in their suite in the hotel. Kiba made some tea for himself and sat down on a sofa.
"We both enjoy nature, and art, and she finds Asian herbology fascinating," Kiba said.
Laverne held up her cup of tea. "Good going, Fang," Laverne said.
Mushu had a look of worry on his face. "Well, just be careful, Kiba. I wouldn't want you to rush into anything," Mushu said.
Hugo nodded, agreeing with the red dragon.
"Mush’s right kid. If Isa turns out to not be the one, it wouldn’t just be your life affected," Hugo said.
Kiba held up a hand. "I won't, don't worry. First, I have to see how Isa and my little Aki get along. He and I are a team, you know."
Meanwhile, Mushu had gone to check on Joy and Akito, who were sharing a bed. Aki was awake and motioned him to come over.
"Mushu?" Akito asked.
"Yes, Akito?" Mushu asked.
"Do you think that someone like me could learn to be brave like you, Joy, my daddy, or Mulan?" Aki asked.
"Sure," Mushu replied.
"But how, Mushu?" Aki asked.
Mushu thought about it, "Well, maybe, you should think of something else the next time you’re scared," Mushu replied.
Akito sighed and held Bah-Bah tightly. "I tried that once. But I just thought of something scary."
Mushu sighed, "Well then, why don't you think of something good?" Mushu asked.
Akito smiled. “Oh, you mean like my Godzilla nightlight, or my happy hippo blankie, or my favorite moon rock?" Aki asked.
Mushu nodded.
"Or... or, a new mommy?" Aki asked.
Mushu smiled. "Yes, that too. But for now, you should get some sleep. Tomorrow's going to be a busy day." Mushu replied.
Aki nodded and lay down. Mushu got up and walked out of the room. Once he was gone, Akito turned his head to a window that looked out at the volcano.
"Next time I see the princess, I'm going to be brave," Akito whispered.
Later that night, Kiba got a golden inhaler, along with a note from Isa, saying that she was forever his, but she misnamed him as Kida. Meanwhile, Aki had a dream in which he was a martial arts expert. He was protecting the babies, Miguel, Raul, Gaby, Antonio, Layla, and Kimi from what appeared to be demon ninjas, clowns, and dragons, while Zano, Mirabel, and Camilo helped him at some parts of the dream.
"Location: Paris, France, April 28th 195X"
The next morning, Akito was the only one not awake and the others woke him up to tell them they needed to get ready for the kaiju show.
"Kito? Akito? You've got to get ready!" Joy said.
Akito slowly opened his eyes and looked up at everyone.
"Huh?" Akito asked tiredly.
"Layla says we're going to see the princess in the show with Kaiju," Mikey replied.
"This could be your chance," Manny added.
"I'm going to meet the princess..." Aki was excited while he hugged his homemade teddy bear. "I'm gonna tell her how much I want her to be my mommy!"
Layla had been putting on lipstick and that accidentally made her smudge her face due to the surprise. "You want a princess to be your mom? What about Isabela?"
"Who?" the others asked, they did not know Isa by name.
"Aki's dad's girlfriend, my daddy's cousin, the flower lady, remember?" Layla reminded them.
"That lady's not the princess!" Joy added.
"Anyway, I'm gonna get the real princess to be my mom," Akito smiled at his thoughts. "I better get her a present... Something nice."
Layla stormed over to them, "Listen up, 'babies'," She called them babies since they were younger than her. "If you want to ask some stranger then fine but I am going to fulfill my promise whether you like it or not," she then stormed off, very grumpy right now.
"Boy, I know someone who needs a nap." Manny groaned.
Before everyone knew it, it was already dark and time for the show. Akito smiled as he saw people going to see the play with him, his friends, and family and the sights were just wonderful.
"The show's going to start!" Antonio said excitedly.
Chico nodded.
"Yes, indeed. I hope it'll be good." Chico said.
Ignacio put his hand on the large El Doradian's shoulder.
"Don't worry about it. It'll be fine." Ignacio said dismissively.
Meanwhile, Akito was looking up at a statue of the princess. As he did, Coco pushed herself through a crowd and walked over to the group with Isa.
"Bonjour, everyone. Let me take you to your seats." Coco greeted.
Kiba took out his inhaler and walked over to Isa.
"Thank you for the inhaler, Isa. Whatever I wheeze, I'll think of you." Kiba said.
Isa nodded and then attempted to bond with Aki, but he ran away and hid behind Kiba.
"Oh, he must be excited about the show," Kiba said.
Layla noticed Coco and skipped to her. "Hi, Mrs. LaRouche how’s the play coming along?"
"Fantastic," Coco sounded sarcastic, but the kids seemed to miss it.
"Cool..." Layla smiled. "And one question is Isa going to be the princess of the play?”
Coco turned to her. "Why would you ask such a thing?"
'Uh-Oh.' Gaby thought to herself.
"Um... Well... It's a long story, ma'am..." Miguel twiddled with his fingers.
"Yeah... Uhh... The thing is, the Loung-Li kid was kinda thinkin' of having a princess for a mom," Layla added, picking up her dress skirt to resemble a princess during this explanation, “So I was hoping you could get Isa to be the princess so that way everyone wins.”
"I’ll think about it,” she said, Layla, Gaby, and Miguel all ran back to their parents.
“Hmm, Jean-Claude what are the odds of this hiccup putting a damper on our plans?”
“Not much but it would not hurt us if say we allowed Isa and her new leading man to take the crown,” He suggested.
“Ooh, I smell trouble..." LaRousch muttered before smiling devilishly, “And I like it.”
The show was going great so far, there was even real fire for the effects of the kaiju and the actors sounded convincingly in danger which made the kids believe that it was happening. Zano stared at the stage and let out a yawn, leaning on his girlfriend's shoulder.
"Try and show some emotion," Mirabel whispered to her boyfriend.
"Hypocritical much?" Zano mumbled.
"Just try to show some emotion while watching the performance," Mirabel whispered.
Zano glanced at her, then forced himself to smile which looked like he was plotting something nefarious.
"Close enough," Mirabel said.
Zano stuck out his tongue like a child and continued to watch the performance. Antonio clung to his father at some parts he found too intense.
"Oh, the princess!" a voice on stage called after the fire stopped, showing the leading lady.
"She's so beautiful..." a man on stage added like he had never seen her before.
Reptar stopped his chaos as the princess started to sing how he was no ordinary monster, but a lizard with a heart of gold. Layla found the princess's singing to be beautiful. Gaby very much enjoyed it too. Jacob even came from hiding behind his rattle and took a watch, enjoying the show as well. Luna and Ignacio's twins were even enjoying the show.
Raul seemed to be the only one who had trouble with the show. "I hate it when they sing..." he muttered quietly.
Zano, who was sitting on Raul's right side, smirked.
"I get what you’re saying, kid. But songs being sung are common attractions in theme parks, not just this one. You just have to deal with it." Zano said.
Edna had come with Kimmy and allowed her grand goddaughter to join the little group for the show. Akito was the one who had the most fun in the show, especially seeing the beautiful princess up close.
"Nothing could ruin this show," Miguel whispered.
The actress for the princess won everyone's hearts until something seemed to happen. Vines came down from above and lifted the princess into the air and soared across the audience's heads sprinkling flowers as she passed them. Akito tried to get her attention but she went back to the stage. Aki hopped out of his seat with his old teddy bear in hand toward the singing princess.
"That's weird. The actor playing the princess looks... different, for some reason." Mirabel thought. She gasped when she spotted Aki headed towards the stage since people weren't supposed to interfere with the show. "Aki! Akito, get back here!" She quietly shouted.
"Wow, he's sharing Baba..." Kiba whispered in surprise, after all, the bear had been his son's best friend since the passing of his biological mother.
"I don't think that's the princess..." Blanca seemed to be the only one to notice the dramatic change.
The princess leaned by Akito and revealed her face, it was not the original actress for the princess, it was Isa! Jacob spits out his pacifier in shock.
"Isabela?" Edna did not see that coming.
"Wow, that is surprising," Camilo said.
"That lady's the princess?" Mikey asked.
"She can't be!" Joy protested.
Isa holds her hand out to Akito but he steps away, smiling at him Isa brings him into her arms and sings. "Repatar~ we will be right there for you Aki~" she sang Akito beamed at her warm smile and hugged her.
Soon a smoke bomb landed on stage and the robot lizard roared and kneeled in pain. Aki was scared and started crying but Isa rubbed his back and used her powers to bring him and her away from the scary noises. They land on the mountain she came out of. The smoke cleared on stage to reveal the lizard gone and in its place was a man in a mask.
"Who's that?" Gaby asked.
"I don't know. The prince?" Miguel guessed.
"He looks like sensei," Mirabel pointed out.
“It's okay Akito, look," Isa told him soothingly, he peeked and saw a man that looked like his daddy.
The masked man looks at him and smiles as music begins to play.

He floats up to them and He and Isa are transfixed by each other.

He tickles Akito's head making the toddler giggle. Isa smiled at the bond they had.
“Are you the sweet invention of a lover's dream?”
Isa hands Akito into his father's arms. “Or are you really as beautiful as you seem?“
She gazes at them and starts her part. “Am I making believe I see in you
A man too perfect to be really true”
She looks up and sees them smiling at her. “Do I want you because you're wonderful Or are you wonderful because I want you?”
Face to face they start floating to each other.

Keeping his eyes on her he kisses each of her hands, Aki lunges from his father's arm into Isa's arms wrapped around her neck.
Kiba:
"I have dreamed that your arms are lovely~"

How you look in the glow of evening

Isa hands Aki back to his father and moves away. “Alone and awake, I've looked at the stars, the same that smile on you~

"Are you the sweet invention of a lover's dream? Or are you really as wonderful as you seem?"
The curtains fell signaling the end of the play.
The audience roars in applause demanding a standing ovation. The curtain rises again, and Isa, Kiba, and Aki are on stage holding hands and bowing.
"Bravo, bravo!" Mushu stood up and applauded once the show ended and Isa tried to move away from Kiba and Akito, but the baby didn't want her to.
"Oh, isn't it wonderful?" Mushu smiled at them. "Guys, I think Akito and Kiba are both in love!"
The others just continued to stare at him after the rest of the audience clapped in excitement and awe.
