Minghao hates being sick.
Sure. nobody loves, but specifically for Minghao getting sick in agony, since he is terrified of needles and the Hospital - which is nonsense for an adult, but he simply can't go to the Hospital without panicking.
Adding, his veins are too thin, which means that everytime he has to have needles the nurse is trying to put the needles on him a hundred times before finally getting a vein, which always makes his arm hurt for days.
What complicates his life is that since he was a kid he has had really strong migraines, headaches that are all day long, sometimes even making him have a fever or pass out.
And today is one of these days.
Minghao woke up dizzy, feeling like his head would explode. The boy murmured and took some medicine that he had for his migraine, hoping that would be enough to make him feel better - and hoping the members wouldn't notice, because of course they would want him to go to an Hospital.
Well, it wasn't.
The moment he stepped out of his room and went to the kitchen to have breakfast with the rest of the Performance Unit, all the three pairs of eyes were on him.
“What is wrong?”
Junhui said fastly and Minghao would turn his eyes if he could. Of course the alphas could smell that something was wrong.
“Migraine.”
Was the only thing the omega said, sitting on Soonyoung’s side.
“Oh… Maybe you should go to an Hospital.” Soonyoung caressed his hair while Chan talked. “We have a long schedule today, it would be hard for you to do.”
Minghao denied fastly.
“I’m fine.”
“You are not. You have a fever.”
“I’m fine, really. I can do it.”
Minghao held Soonyoung’s hand, putting it out of his forehead. The leader just nodded, trusting that Minghao knew himself and would say if he was too sick to do the schedule, even though Soonyoung was telling this to Seungcheol when they met later.
The breakfast was silently so Minghao’s migraine don't get worse, and when he finished, Junhui fastly got up to help him to get ready - even though Minghao said he didn't have to.
They met with the rest of the members at the corridor, and Junhui was fast to say while they were walking to the van:
“Today is a bad day for Minghao, so I would appreciate if we could keep the volume down.”
“Own… What is wrong?” Jeonghan approached the youngest, side hugging him.
“Migraine.”
Seungcheol stopped walking, making the others stop too.
“Then, you are staying at home. We know how you have strong migraines.”
“Hyung, I’m fine! I took my medicine, I’m sure I’ll be better in just a few minutes.”
“Minghao…”
“Please?”
Seungcheol stopped to think a little bit.
“Sure… But if you don’t get better until the end of the day, we are bringing you to the Hospital.”
Minghao grimaced, and then denied.
“That is my leader’s decision. No arguing.”
“Hyung…”
“No ‘Hyung’, Xu Minghao.” The leader pointed him a finger. “I know about your Hospital phobia, but you need to stop being negligent about your health.”
“I’m not negligent, I took medicines!”
“And you are going to take medicines again, but in the Hospital, if you don’t get better until the end of the day.”
Minghao would complain again, but Seungcheol just kept walking again, making the youngest Chinese whine. Jeonghan laughed to his sulky face.
“Eisa is cute.” Yoon messed up Minghao’s hair. “Don’t worry. You will feel better soon.”

Minghao wasn't feeling better.
They would be basically just training for all day because of their new comeback. The loud music was making Minghao’s head hurt even more, and the hard dancing was making his body weaker.
He was breathing hard, his vision blurred like everything was running. On the fourth time playing the song, after doing a turn, Minghao just felt down on the ground, not able to equilibrate himself.
Junhui, who was the one on his side, fastly kneeled down, holding his body.
“Hao, are you fine?”
Minghao nodded, still kinda dizzy. He didn't faint, but the blurry vision and loud music were too much for his body to equilibrate.
“Yes, I’m fine, I just got dizzy.” Junhui nodded, helping him to get up. Seungcheol denied.
“You are not fine, we are going to the Hospital.”
He said while pausing the music, walking to the corner of the room so he could take his bag.
“Hyung… I don't want to…”
“Eisa, it will be better for you…” Jeonghan tried.
“Hao, I know you have a panic about this, but it's better if you go now then you keep having pain for days…” Seungcheol said to the omega, calmer this time. “And you are not going alone. We are too much to go all together, but I can go with someone else, what do you think?”
Minghao thought for a little bit, and then nodded. He knows that none of them would ever force him to do something, specially if this “something” is going to a place that makes him panic, but today’s migraine was worse than it usually is, and he couldn't be like that for days while they prepare for a new album.
“Okay…” Murmured, unhappy.
“Who do you want to go with us?” Seungcheol approached and Minghao just pointed at Jeonghan.
They three left the room with a lot of voices saying “get better soon” or “good luck”. Seungcheol was the one driving, and Minghao couldn't stop holding Jeonghan’s arm all the way to the Hospital, slowly panicking as they approached the Hospital. When they arrived at the place, they both could hear Minghao struggling to breathe.
“Hao, do you wanna be in the car for a few more minutes to calm down?” Seungcheol caressed his hair, the car slowly being taken by the calming pheromone that the alpha sended to Minghao.
“No, I wanna do it fast.”
“You sure?” Jeonghan asked softly, and Minghao nodded before opening the car’s door.
Just enter the Hospital made him feel dizzy, Minghao saying low just to the two that were with him:
“This place smells like death.”
He whispered, and Jeonghan and Seungcheol laughed before Jeonghan hit his arm lightly.
“Don’t say that.”
“I don’t wanna be there. We still can go home and then I hit my head on the wall until it passes, or I die.”
Even though his speech was kinda funny, it was obvious for them both how serious he was, and how his voice was shaking, panic and anxiety being obvious.
“Baby, it will be fast, okay?”
Minghao pouted, looking at Seungcheol, tears slowly getting into his eyes. The leader sighed and walked to the balcony.
For being a private Hospital, it didn't take more than ten minutes for Minghao to be with the doctor. Because Minghao is not a minor, he went alone to the doctor's room, and he was tearful when came back with a paper directing him to take medication via vein.
He would be glad if the doctor just gave him some medicines that he could buy in a pharmacy, but now he would have to go to his biggest panic: needles.
“Oh, Eisa, don't cry!”
Jeonghan kneeled down in front of him when he sat down, waiting for the nurse to put the needle on him. Seungcheol right by his side, caressing his hair.
“It will be fast.”
Seungcheol tried, and Minghao murmured in discontent, putting his head on Seungcheol’s neck, right on his scent gland. The leader understood him fastly, giving him the smell that he knew Minghao loves.
“In which arm it will be?” The nurse asked, and Jeonghan held Minghao’s left arm, putting on the arm’s support. “Don’t worry, kid. You won't even feel that!”
The nurse was really kind all the time, but Minghao couldn't let his panic to the side, even more when he felt the needle on his arm, which just made him freeze. Seungcheol caressed his hair, and Jeonghan caressed his thighs carefully, until sat on the ground.
The nurse left after putting him on the medicine, and Jeonghan slightly started to hold his left hand, just to keep his arm still if he panic and try to take it out.
“Eisa.” Jeonghan called, and Minghao murmured a ‘hm’ against Seungcheol’s neck, just so Jeonghan knew he's listening. “What is the painting you are working on now?”
Minghao frowned with the sudden question, using his right hand to clean the few tears on his cheeks.
He started to answer, and Seungcheol fastly understood that Jeonghan was trying to distract him from his panic, and in just a few minutes, they three were talking about random topics, Seungcheol never letting Minghao look to his left arm, and Jeonghan never letting they be in silence so Minghao doesn't fall into panic again.
When the medicine finished, Minghao was still shaking and his eyes were still tearful, but he wasn't so in panic like the beginning.
He had a band-aid in his arm, and before going back to the dorm, they stopped in a pharmacy to buy stronger medicine that the doctor told him to take, and Minghao was almost sleeping in the car. His migraine hasn't passed yet, but he was feeling sleepy, probably the medicine making him sleep so he would feel better when he wakes up.
“How are you feeling now?” The leader asked, looking at him by the rear view.
“I’m never putting my feet in an Hospital again.” Murmured against Jeonghan's shoulder and they both laughed.
“It wasn't that bad.”
“For you it wasn't! I was panicking, and dying, and about to put this needle on my neck!”
Jeonghan tapped his head.
“Yes, Eisa. Now you sleep. It is already done.”
Minghao murmured in disapproval, but fell asleep in a few minutes, letting the two oldest laughing - and smiling about his cuteness.
