Chapter Text
Ghost groaned, pushing himself off of the ceiling he’d found himself attached to. ‘I must’ve been sleepwalking.’ He thought, as he stood up from where he’d landed. He stretched, too tired to go into his room and grab his mask to hide his mandibles, so he just walked over to the lounge. He rubbed at one of his mandibles, causing some dried skin to drop down from it. He looked up as he entered, just to see the few Spider-People already in there scurry as far away from him as they could. He just shook his head and went over to the already crowded couch.
He settled in on the only open spot at the end, pulling all his limbs in like he was getting comfortable in a den. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Then when he opened them, the couch was vacated. He sighed and picked up a pillow, snuggling into it and lightly chewing on it for a bit, until he heard someone walk in. He looked up and saw Gaz, who must’ve just woken up. Gaz mumbled a vague greeting before collapsing on the couch next to Ghost.
Ghost leaned into Gaz, glad that at least a few people never ran from him, even if he didn’t understand why people ran from him in the first place.
