Work Text:
Considering the entire point of moving onto your late Grandfather’s farm was to escape the rat race, you think you’ve gotten yourself a little confused along the way; you’re busier now one year into your new life than you ever were back in the city.
Out here, you’re up with the dawn chorus, milking cows and shearing sheep before you’ve even thought about breakfast. Then of course there’s the watering, the harvesting, the processing, the shipping, and trying to find some scrap of free time and energy to fish, mine, or greet your neighbours; it’s that last part that’s suffered the most in your year here, much to the disappointment of Mayor Lewis, you’re sure.
It’s not that you don’t want to make friends. You’re just so inundated with other tasks that it seems like a secondary concern. Maybe next year, you’ll have your shit together enough to be more involved with the community as a whole, and a venue in which to really get to know people; the community centre is on the cusp of completion at last.
In many ways, it’s for the good of the town that you’ve been pushing yourself so hard. Pelican Town’s economy is in shambles, and it’s only gotten worse with the arrival of JoJo Mart not long before your arrival. The people may not cheer your name or appreciate your sacrifices, but they’ll be happy, and that’s enough for you.
That isn’t to say you’ve not bonded with anyone. Harvey- the town’s sole doctor and avid aviation enthusiast- has become quite the confidant, owing to the time you’ve spent in his surgery. Between passing out on your way home or in the desert, or just needing to buy an energy drink as a little pick-me-up, you’ve seen a lot of the blushing, bespectacled bachelor over the last year, and as such you can easily call him your friend.
If circumstances were different, you might even call him more, but you can’t. You have no time for a relationship right now, as much as you’d love to have someone waiting for you in bed after a long day on the farm. Besides, he’s sweet on Maru. Everyone knows that, except Maru herself, apparently. They’ll end up getting married and running the practice together, while you’re stuck running around after your chickens so you can give them their daily dose of affection.
Thinking about Harvey is already cutting into time that you can’t afford to waste, so you put him from your mind; what matters now is the cow in front of you, and what you can do with her.
It seems stupid, trying to get a third cow when two of them are already enough of a handful. But with your new cellar currently being built, you need to increase your milk production so you can make more cheese, and trying to breed your current cows is a lot cheaper than buying new ones. There is, of course, one major flaw in your plan; you have two cows and no bull, so unless they miraculously learn how to reproduce asexually, you’re out of luck.
Thankfully, you’ve found a service online that is about to provide- for want of a better term- the missing ingredient. You just need to figure out the best time to get the cows bred, and then bingo! Two healthy calves, all being well. You just might have to rope Marnie in to help with the birthing…
You make a mental note to do just that when the barn door opens, making you snap your head around. People rarely ever visit you on the farm, and if they do, they wait by the house. Which one of them has decided to brave the mud and muck of the farm at large just to ask you for a favour?
A smile tugs at your lips when you see Harvey closing the door behind him, his sensible shoes caked in forth already. ‘There you are! I couldn’t find you up at the house. You left something in my surgery the other day, so I thought it best to return it in case you thought it lost.’ He holds up a bottle of wine between you, one that you recognise all-too-well; you made it here on the farm, of course. From fruit you grew with your own bare hands, with a little help from Mother Nature.
However, you don’t reach out to take it, as there has been a misunderstanding somewhere along the line. ‘Oh. I actually left that on purpose, as a thank you. I know I’ve been in your clinic a lot lately, so I wanted to give you something nice to repay you for giving me so much of your time.’ Not that he gets many other patients, save for the annual check-ups of the villagers…
An adorable blush dusts Harvey’s cheeks as he laughs sheepishly at your comment. ‘I think you’re overlooking how much I charge you. You’re probably the only reason I still have a roof over my head to be honest, with all your emergency visits. Even so, I do wish you’d take it easy once in a while…’ He frowns at his own comment, clearly concerned for you. Well, that settles it; you really do have a friend in Pelican Town.
You’re quick to dismiss his concerns, turning back to your cow to usher her out the barn, leaving you and Harvey completely alone. ‘You’re not the only one trying to keep a roof over their head. I spend almost as much money as I make, and that’s not including the hospital visits. Sure, I could take it easy and stop expanding the farm for a season or two, but I need to guide this place back to its former glory. That goes for the farm, and the village.’ You’re sure in the long run, he’ll understand. He’s part of the community, after all; why would he not want to see it flourish.
Harvey shakes his head as you walk over to some hay bales, planning to top up your cows’ food on the off-chance they can’t find any grass. ‘You keep this up, and you might not be around to see it. I say this as both a doctor and as your friend; lighten your load. Do you really need three hundred additional cauliflowers when you already have a greenhouse overflowing with starfruit? These animals need tending, of course, but the rest? You don’t need to do it. There is more to life than money, as much as it helps.’ Easy for him to say that when trips to his clinic are one of your biggest expenses, but you’ll let it slide; it’s coming from a place of concern, after all.
You sigh, bending slightly to rest your palms on one of the bales. ‘I wish I could, but I really can’t. Summer is just around the corner, and if I plan things right I could make hundreds of thousands in profit, enough to build Pam and Penny a house and hire a bulldozer to chase JoJo Mart out of town. Plus I’m still fixing the community centre, and I’m looking for a stud for the cows so I can get more milk. Everything moves so fast on the farm, and I have to keep up or it’ll all fall apart.’ You take a deep breath, trying not to get pent up. It isn’t Harvey’s fault you’re in this situation. You’re the one that keeps pushing; he’s just trying to help.
The barely-audible clink of a wine bottle settling on the floor of the barn is all the warning you get before two large hands settle on your hips, your body freezing instinctively. ‘If you won’t take a real break, would you at least entertain a momentary distraction? A hit of endorphins, to help you relax?’ You whine as slightly calloused hands slip under your shirt, brushing across the sensitive skin of your belly. How long has it been since someone touched you like this? At least a year, probably even longer; too long, really, to the point that part of you thinks your self-exposed celibacy might be the blame for at least some of your problems.
That doesn’t stop your mind from screaming at you that this is a bad idea. Harvey is the only real friend you have, and the town doctor. If things gets messy between you after this, you’ll be truly alone, and you’ll have no one to patch you up the next time you make a mistake.
On the other hand, you need this, way more than you thought you did. Even the slightest touch has your cunt dripping so much it threatens to have your underwear sticking to your sensitive flesh, a clear sign that you’re more than a little starved for attention. You can’t even begin to entertain taking an extended break, but a few moments? That’s more than doable; you’ll just won’t be able to go to the mines today.
Harvey thrusts his hips against your ass, and you moan, louder than you had intended to. ‘Fuck. Alright, you win. One shot of endorphins, doctor, and some oxytocin while you’re there.’ You’re shocked once again as your lover slaps your ass through your skirt, and you instinctively get into position on the hay bales, leaning your torso over one as your knees rest on another.
With your consent given, Harvey wastes no time, carefully placing his glasses on one of the free bales before pushing up your skirt, exposing your underwear to his half-blind gaze. ‘It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Don’t worry, I’m in the same position. Still, when it comes down to it, sex is just biology, and I am a doctor; I know every trick in the book.’ Pushing the crotch of your underwear aside, he shoves two fingers into you, groaning as you take them in with minimal resistance.
You mewl over the bale, relishing in the feeling of his fingers inside you. ‘You better. If you leave me unsatisfied, I’ll never forgive you.’ He gropes your ass with his free hand, and you internally curse your bra and shirt for not giving your now-erect nipples the kind of stimulation they crave.
As if reading your mind, Harvey awkwardly tugs at your shirt until he has it off, tossing it deeper into the barn before he starts on the clap of your bra. The pace of his fingers inside you falters slightly as he fumbles with it, but he soon figures it out, awkwardly wrestling it off of your arms before flinging it in the general direction of your shirt.
With your chest now bare, Harvey presses down on your back, causing your nipples to brush almost painfully against the hay. ‘Now, you may experience a little chafing, but if that does happen, make an appointment. I have a cream I’d be more than happy to apply for you, free of charge.’ He pushes his fingers in deeper, almost knocking your cervix as he starts to set a steady pace, almost leaving your body completely before surging back in with an almost clinical efficiency that has you gasping in pleasure. You dig your fingertips into the bale, making no attempt to fight against the ecstasy being bestowed upon you.
When he’s sure you can take it, Harvey slips in a third finger, stretching your cunt even further. Obscene squelching noises fill the barn as your whole body starts to tingle, the promised shot of pleasure so close to making its way into your veins you can already feel your body tense up in anticipation.
Grunting, Harvey pulls his fingers out of you, leaving your now-empty passage twitching around nothing as you’re robbed of climax. ‘Wha-?’ You’re so dazed by what happened you can’t even complain properly, and almost miss the sound of a zipper being undone, until you look behind you and see your lover’s cock in all its glory; looks like he plans to put his foreplay to good use.
Harvey doesn’t even bother taking your underwear off, just keeping the crotch pushed to the side as he starts to slide into you, grabbing your hips so he can make your body meet him halfway. You drag the bale along with you, smashing your bare chest against it when your lover surges forward again.
Your breaths come out as laboured moans as Harvey finds his rhythm, one hand grabbing your hair and another rubbing your clit as he fucks you harder than you’d ever give the usually-mild man credit for, his age and general demeener in stark contrast to the man currently dominating your with his cock. Several years of pent up sexual frustration are all coming out at once, and you’re the lucky recipient, helplessly soaking up every ounce of his lust as your legs tense up hard enough to shatter steel.
The residual pleasure from Harvey’s earlier teasing is once again worked into a frenzy, until you finally fall apart on his cock, clenching around his erection as your moans of ecstasy, reverberating far louder than the cries of its usual occupants.
Harvey’s pace slows as he waits a few moments for you to regain your senses, before he picks the pace up again, leaning down until his lips brush the shell of your ear. ‘I think I have found a solution to your problems. You want to make your family proud, be a part of the community, and increase milk production, and I want you to stay safe. Therefore, there is only one conclusion; It’s not the cows that need a stud… it’s you!’ You gasp at that, his words somehow making you even wetter than before. The rational part of your brain wants to push him away, to make sure he can’t actually go through with what he’s suggesting.
You somehow find words, even as you fight off a second tide of arousal. ‘Y-you… do you mean…?’ The firm and consistent snap of his hips is all the answer you need; not only does he mean it, but he intends to breed you himself.
Just the thought makes you weak at the knees, all rational thoughts being pushed away with every thrust of his cock inside you. You’re getting bred today. You can feel it. You won’t be leaving this barn without a baby in your womb, and you know it; you bite down into the hay bale, the euphoria of such a thing almost causing you to lose your mind completely.
Harvey gasps as his pace starts to falter, doing all he can to make sure he keeps his thrusts going as deep into you as possible. ‘I can’t wait to see you with my baby inside you…’ He murmurs into your ear, and you fall apart around him a second time, mindlessly thrusting your hips back to meet his as you try to ride your orgasm as long as you can.
You release the bale from your mouth so you can speak, feeling Harvey’s end approach. ‘Breed me. Please.’ Just hearing you beg is enough to make him finish inside you, warmth flooding you as he sighs softly, keeping your hips close to his as he starts to limply pump you full, making sure every last drop reaches its target.
Spent, Harvey collapsed on top of you, panting. ‘Sorry for springing this on you, but I think it’s the only way you’ll stop putting yourself at risk. Besides, I think motherhood will suit you. You have a lot of experience with nurturing things, after all.’ He rubs your belly in small circles, and you sigh in contentment, the promised shot of chemical happiness very much in your bloodstream. Maybe he has a point, after all? Besides, you’ve always wanted to make sure your hard work didn’t go to waste, so having an heir and future farmhand to hand it all down to sounds…
Ah, but you can think about that later. Right now, you just want to enjoy a moment of peace, before going back to the chaos. You’ll have to get used to it, after all.
