Chapter Text
"Oh, my God. I can't believe you actually did that." Emily said, watching as Jess came back after putting a note on the table. Her mouth agape as if she was ready to laugh, but Jess shushed her, giggled quietly.
Sam looked in between the two, eyebrows furrowed in worry. "Don't you guys think this is a little bit cruel?" She urged, trying to drive some sense into them. Hannah is her best friend, Sam knew that she would easily fall for this prank, and it wouldn't end well.
"Oh, come on, she deserves it." Jess replied. It's crazy to believe that she even calls Hannah her friend.
"It's not her fault she has a huge crush on Mike!"
"Hannah's been making moves on him. I'm just looking out for my girl Em." She replied, skipping out of the kitchen with Emily, Sam, and Mike following close behind.
"Just because he's class Prez doesn't mean he belongs to everyone... Mike is my man." Emily claimed her territory, a bit pissed at the thought that Hannah thought she had a chance with him.
"Hey, Em. I'm not anyone's man." Despite being together, Mike seemed to hate labels. He didn't take commitment too well.
"Whatever you say, darling."
Sam slowly stopped walking as Emily, Jess, Mike, and Ashley head up to the guest bedroom, probably to take their positions to initiate the prank. She rushed up the stairs, wanting to find Hannah before she herself finds the note.
"Hannah!" She called out, a bit of distress in her tone.
—
Ashley laughed quietly as she crouched behind a partition, Matt hiding inside of the cabinets, Jess and Emily under the bed, while Mike stood in the middle of the room.
Soon, Hannah entered the bedroom, candle in her hand. The lights hasn't been working for a while now, the Washington's have yet to get that fixed.
"Mike? It's Hannah." She stated softly.
"Hey, Hannah." He replied, a sly look on his face. She had no idea.

Beth walked around the kitchen, taking in the aftermath of the partying of the night behind. Beer bottles scattered the table. Her brother, Josh blackout drunk, his head buried in his arms at the table. Same as Chris.
Upon the mess, she spots a messily written note. Her eyes narrowed as she picked it up.
Hannah
You look so damn hot
In that shirt…
But I bet you’re even
Hotter out of it.
Come to the guest room
At 2:00am :)
Mike

Beth shook her head, sighing heavily. "Goddamn. What'd our naive sister get herself into now?" She said to no one in particular. She knew that Hannah could be a bit desperate, and she was aware on her crush on Mike. What she didn't know was going to hit her hardest.
—
"I got your note." Hannah smiled slightly. She finally had a chance.
"Glad you could make it." His eyes trailed her up and down, noticing the excited expression on her face. "Maybe we should start with, you know, making out, and see where it goes from there."
Hannah nodded in agreement, taking a small step closer as her fingers raised up to undo the buttons of her blouse.
"Oh, hell yeah." Mike muttered to himself.
Jess giggled from under the bed, covering her mouth as she stifled a laugh. "Oh, my God! She's taking her shirt off!" She whispered a bit too loudly.
Hannah flinched. "What the..." She saw the shadow of two people hiding underneath the bed, which of those were very familiar. "Oh, my God?!"
The others emerged from their hiding places, Ashley with an amused expression on her face Matt with a selfie stick in hand. He's been recording the whole thing. Hannah's face flushed, now humiliated and embarrassed. Her hands flew up to hide her chest, covering it up from everyone.
"Uh, I'm sorry, Hannah, this all got outta hand, but..." He trailed off, snickering himself. He wasn't really sorry. That was for sure.
Sam finally entered the room, mentally cursing herself when she saw the scene. It didn't take too long to realize that she was too late. She rushed to Hannah's side, trying to soothe her.
"Hannah. Hannah. Hey, honey... don't, it's just a—" She was cut off when she ran out of the room, the heavy footsteps of rushing up the stairs, following with a door slam.
"Stupid prank." Sam mumbled, sighing in agitation. "You guys are real assholes. You know that?" She exited the room, not waiting for any replies.
