Footsteps rang throughout the street as Amber ran wildly, arms flailing as she attempted to keep her balance.
Half falling over a stone, she stopped to lean over preciously before continuing her mad dash. Hair repeatedly hitting her back with thumps, she ignored Jean calling after her and pushed Kaeya out of the way, turning back to yell out an apology without stopping. The two knights waved at her, one in encouragement and the other in dismissal, both flashing a smile at her.
Passing several of her usual stores, her eyes remained fixed on the horizon, attention completely on her task. A sudden grass scent blessing her nose caused her to snap her head around and wave her hand enthusiastically at Katheryne, unable to stop herself from bouncing up and down energetically. She waved back with a nice smile, though it quickly fell as the brunette missed one of the stairs and she jumped up, hands bracing themselves on the desk before her in concern.
Fortunately, Amber didn’t face-plant like last time, only tumbling onto her right arm before jumping back up like a rabbit and continuing her dash. And like her beloved pet rabbits, she paid no attention to Mona as her run beside her caused her to stumble and drop a book with a groan.
Thanking her lungs for not giving up, she didn’t pause until blue hair popped up before her and a smile broke out on her face as she yelled out, the figure before her stopping her casual walk.
Turning around, Ganyu only had a second to prepare herself before her arms were full of Amber and her lips were covered in kisses.
“Sorry.” she chirped, “I had to get it in before you left.”
