Lunella woke up to the sound of the alarm Clock going off. She suddenly remembered that she had to go to school today. But she also remembered that she revealed her identity to her entire family and her days as a super her could be on the line pretty soon.
"Where's beyonder when I need him?" Lunella wondered as she was getting dressed for the day. She finally made her way towards the kitchen where her family sat setting breakfast for her. "Good morning my little superhero!" Her Dad happily greeted as she sat down to eat her breakfast. "Good morning dad." Lunella replied as she started chewing on her pancakes.
She made eye contact with mimi who just smiled at her. "Um, we decided that once you get home from school we would talk about the situation." Adria blurted out causing the adults in the room to stop eating. Lunella just stared at her. "That's sounds cool." She replied confidently. Maybe it could give them a lot more time their decision. "Well, you don't want to be late for school now." Pops said looking at the clock. Lunella took that as her cue to pack up and leave before saying goodbye to her family.
It was going to be such a long school day for her. "What do you mean they know!?" Casey yelled causing everyone in the cafeteria to look at her. She made an awkward laugh before grabbing her friend by her shoulders and shaking her until she felt dizzy. "Did they take things well at least?" She asked causing Lunella to fake laugh. "Pretty well actually but not there's a chance that I won't be able to do it anymore." Lunella's shoulders slumped down by that thought.
Her future as Moon Girl could be over by the end of the day. "Well don't worry Chica I will quickly make a PowerPoint presentation to convince them." One thing Lunella knew about Casey was her love of power point presentations because she knows how to make them convincing enough for people to agree. "I'll be right back!" Casey yelled running out of the cafeteria like her life was on the line. This was the first time Casey ever ran for anything.
Lunella went back to reading the book she had earlier when Eduardo came up to her. "Hey Yeti Lafayettii!!" Eduardo yelled excitedly trying to catch her attention. "Oh, Eduardo had a barno!" Lunella awkwardly said back but deep down was cringing by the fact that she gave him that nickname on the spot. "What can I do for you?" The 13 year old asked the boy was looking for her attention. "Nothing much but I just wanted to give you something." He replied as he reached in his back and pulling out a chocolate bar to give to her. This gesture made her a bit happier than she felt before. "Wow, thanks Eduardo." She was still completely baffled by this. "No problem, you seem a little down so I thought it might cheer you up a bit." Eduardo said lightly blushing out of nervousness. "Thanks Eduardo,I'll make it up to you later." Lunella replied but he refused her offer, but either way she was still making it up to him.
A little while later, she and Casey were in front of Lunella's apartment very nervous to go inside. "Whatever happens Casey it's been a fun ride." Lunella said holding the Latina girls hand for support. "I'm so nervous." Lunella took a deep breath before opening the door to find her family sitting in the living room waiting for her with serious looks on her face.
The two girls made their way in front of the family as they wait for the burning question. "Lu we have made our decision." She said with much power in her voice that made Casey pray a bit. "I'm ready to hear it." Lunella said facing her mother. Adria sighed a bit before saying what she is going to say. "I'm allowing you to be Moon Girl." She revealed making Casey and Lunella look at her with a surprised look on their face. Lunella pinched herself thinking it was all a dream but it was real.
