“I missed you too much!!” Jade exclaimed as they buried their face in the taller boy's shoulder, cuddling close to him.
Nagisa chuckled softly, petting their head gently “...I'm right here with you now”
They blushed “I-I know but…I just missed you and your warmth-”
With the way they were going on, you'd have thought that they'd been separated from their boyfriend for years rather than just a couple hours while he was at work.
Nagisa certainly didn't mind though. He found his partner’s clinginess and ‘need’ for affection adorable.
“... It's alright, I know~” he told them, gently wrapping his arms around them and pulling them even closer to him “...I missed you too.”
Jade squeaked slightly as they were suddenly pulled closer to their boyfriend, but very soon relaxed again and rested their head against his chest “...You're so warm…I love your cuddles, Nagi…”
“...I love yours as well, Jade…my little treasure~”
Seeing how they once again started to blush at his comment, Nagisa smiled and kissed the top of their head gently “...You are very sweet and cute~”
They blushed even more “I-I’m not that cute…”
He poked their cheek gently, causing them to make a cute little noise again “...See? You're too adorable for your own good~”
“...”
“... That's just one of the many reasons that you're my little treasure~”
“...Fine. If you say so…” they sighed in defeat, although they hadn't put up much of a fight to deny his statement in the first place, and closed their eyes “Just don't let me go anytime soon…please?”
“...Of course not. I'll keep holding you as long as possible to make up for lost time~”
That seemed to make them happy and they kept their head resting against their boyfriend’s chest with their eyes closed. They really did look too cute.
Nagisa would keep holding them, admiring them as he usually did whenever the two of them spent time together.
It was very clear that neither of them wanted to let go anytime soon so they would most likely continue to stay in each other's arms on the couch while sharing occasional small talk until they did feel like letting each other go.
…Or until they were forced to. Whichever happens first.
