Summary:

You want love? We’ll make it.

Original notes:
I was listening to “Your Body is a Wonderland” and it gave me the idea for the summary and the title, the story has really nothing to do with the song. I actually started writing with not a single clue about where this was going and suddenly I couldn’t stop. It may as well not make any sense at all.
This wasn’t beta’d so I apologize in advance for any typos or errors hee-hee.
Oh, and you know how much I love frustrated Saula.
Enjoy.

Work Text:

Room for Two
06/24/13

The doors of the lobby get opened roughly.

He walks in first.

He drags her inside the hotel and stops at the front desk.

“A room, now,” he demands.

The poor guy behind the desk looks at them scared.

First at him then at her.

He doesn’t move.

He lets his eyes travel between them.

Then at their hands.

Her hand is closed, forming a fist.

The grip on her wrist is tight, not wanting to let go.

“I requested a bloody room!”

He reminds the guy with fire in his eyes.

“Make it a room for two.”

She pushes him aside, placing both her hands on the desk.

Her eyes looking pleading.

Begging for her request to be answered.

The tall guy takes the phone in his hand.

“I-I think I’m gonna call security.”

He rolls his eyes.

She places her hand softly on top of the receptionist’s.

“It’s okay, sweetie, just gives us a room and we’ll be out of your way.”

With a sexy wink she pushes his hand to drop the phone back to its place.

She flashes the guy a smile as a key is handed to her.

A key that is instantly ripped from her hand.

Her wrist is clasped once again.

Her long, curly hair flies as she’s dragged towards the elevator.

The rushing click-clacks of her heels filled the empty hall.

She stumbles with her own feet as she allows him to walk faster and faster.

The beeping comes and the elevator gets opened.

He pushes her inside.

Her back hits the cold metal wall.

Pain comes.

A naughty smile is pasted to her lips.

She bites her lower lip.

Her nose wrinkles.

The elevator doors close.

That’s it for him.

All he can think about is her.

Her sweet lips.

He reacts the only way he knows.

Kissing her.

Kissing her with all his might.

Like he hasn’t kissed her in months.

He’s not tender.

He doesn’t go slowly.

There is no time.

The elevator takes too long to reach their destination.

She bites his lips.

She allows him to do with her mouth as he pleases.

Because she feels the same need.

The same want.

Her hands fly to his hair.

Running through the black and grey.

She pushes him closer.

Their hips grinding together.

Heads going side to side.

Her leg is wrapped around his.

The beeping comes.

The doors get opened.

Her dress flies.

She’s pulled out of the small space.

Door after door after door.

526.

His shaky hand places the key in the knob.

The door gets opened.

The lights are out.

She struts her way inside.

He locks the door.

“What the bloody hell are you doing here?”

Her arms fly in the air.

“Surprise!”

He looks at his watch.

11:58pm.

He’s got a plane to catch.

“Don’t play fool.”

She walks around the fancy room.

“What are you doing in Long Island?!”

He demands.

“I was in the neighborhood.”

She shrugs.

“What do you want?”

His tone has changed.

It’s softer now.

It’s pleading.

A sigh escapes her lips.

“I don’t know…”

She looks down.

“You, I guess.”

She sounds sincere.

She genuinely doesn’t know why she did what she did.

Why she’s there.

“You have no right!”

He snaps at her.

She has no right.

She can’t turn his life upside down as she pleases.

She is the one that left.

She is the one that walked out.

She is the one that broke his heart.

And she’s there to break it yet again.

She has no right.

“You can’t tell me what I can or can’t do.”

She sits at the edge of the bed.

One leg is crossed on top of the other.

Her bangs are pushed away from her face.

He walks side to side.

“What do you want from me?”

His hand travels through his hair.

“I have nothing to give you.”

She looks at him.

She stares at him.

He’s all she wants.

She stands up.

She walks ever so slowly.

Her hands grab his face.

She looks into his eyes.

“I want you.”

“You had me.”

Her facial expression changes.

She sighs.

She had him.

She let him go.

She moved on.

He moved on.

“One more.”

She begs.

He shakes his head no.

Her eyes, pleading.

“Just… one more.”

Her forehead is pressed against his.

She stretches her neck.

Her lips touch his softly.

She still doesn’t know why she’s there.

He doesn’t move.

He doesn’t reply to her kiss.

He pushes her away from him.

“Go home.”

He keeps her as far away as the length of his arms allows him to.

“Go shag your boy toy instead.”

A slap comes.

Her hand flies to crash against his cheek.

He caresses his red skin.

Her wrist is, once again, clasp by his hand.

He pushes her backwards.

Her hair flying as she falls on the bed.

“You are an ass!”

She screams from the bed but doesn’t move.

Her legs are parted by his hands.

He stands between them.

“You asked for it.”

The kinky smile gets back to her lips.

“Go on. Do it. You know you want to.”

He does.

She does.

She crawls backwards.

Her head lands on the pillow.

Her tongue wets her lips.

She’s ready for him.

Her dress is pulled up.

His head gets lost in between her opened legs.

A gasp escapes from her lips.

It’s been too long.

It feels so right.

It feels like home.

Her hand takes a hold of his hair.

Holding on for dear life.

He knows what she likes.

And he never fails in giving her just that.

Her eyes close.

Her mouth gets opened.

It feels so right.

He is lost in pleasure.

The plane will leave without him.

He’ll buy them one more night.

Once more and that’s it.

Her soft legs press against his ears.

He’s lost in the bliss of her.

Of a taste he had almost forgotten.

A taste a little too familiar.

His hair gets pulled.

She needs him.

Now.

He stands for just a minute.

His pants are left at the bottom of the bed.

And they are one.

She breathes out his name.

The word feels so soft against her lips.

A word that comes out more like a scream.

He kisses her.

Like she hasn’t been kissed in ages.

Like she will never be kissed by any other pair of lips.

His face hides in her neck.

He bites her shoulder.

He won’t scream.

He won’t allow her to know.

She won’t know the immense pleasure she gives him.

Not anymore.

Because she left.

Because she walked away.

Because she broke his heart.

Because images of her fill his head at night.

Because the memory of her burns like a fire.

Because his body will always react on its own.

He won’t scream her name.

She gets what she came for.

Everything is clear in her head now.

As the waves of ecstasy fill her body, she knows.

She’s sure.

She needed one more fix.

A fix she won’t get from any other than this dealer.

She gets what she wanted.

She pants for air.

Her chest goes up and down.

She rolls him over, off of her.

She looks around the room.

Where’s the exit?

How can she run away from this?

She can’t move.

“Paula…”

“Simon…”

“Leave.”

She nods.

She stands up.

Her legs, shaking.

Her hair is pulled into a ponytail.

Her bangs fly away from her face.

“You will never change.”

She speaks to the dark of the room.

“That’s why I left you.”

The sound of her heels is muffled by the carpet.

She’s by the door now.

“God knows I tried…”

Silence.

“God knows I loved you…”

Silence.

“God knows I love you…”

Silence.

“But you will never change.”

The door gets open.

A ray of light gets through the crack.

He closes his eyes.

“Don’t come back.”

He commands.

The door gets closed.

Two sighs.

“Please, don’t you ever come back.”

She will.
