"I wonder how the fish got all the way up here," Mei said. She stood near the pond, watching the fish swim around in amazement.
Link watched with her. "I was with a Rito named Harth awhile ago, and he was amused by the machines that were in the sky."
"Amused?" Mei asked, glancing at him. "Why would he be so amused?"
"Well, maybe that's not the right word to use," Link said.
Mei chuckled, watching the fish. "It's a good thing there aren't machines here…"
Link glanced up, recalling several machines patrolling the temple. He actually didn't think Mei would make her way up, but when he spoke to her husband, he wanted to see what she was doing. And well, after Sidon became the sage, she figured it was good enough to explore.
She can't exactly go higher up in case she gets attacked. She has no weapons with her, and it seems her only interest was the fish.
"Are you going to take some to Fronk?" he asked, reminding her why he had come up to look for her in the first place.
Mei gasped, standing straight. "Oh! Link, I forgot, I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay, Mei," Link said, smiling softly. "Did you want me to help?"
"Oh, no, I'll just take the one, but thank you, Link," she said.
Afterwards, Link had watched her dive down to the Zora's Domain to meet with her husband. Link glanced at the temple above and around him, and wondered if he should consult Sidon about the temple in case any of the Zora's decided to come up here, he didn't want anyone to get hurt.
