Afterward.

Summary:

Our sunshine would be pretty forgiving but thinking about it would Vaggie forgive herself?
When they’ve been sent back to hell, Charlie tries to agressively talk to Vaggie but she couldn’t just do that when Charlie had such a betrayed expression, and everything became heated.

So Vaggie did what her guts ordered her to do and ran out the hotel, far from the people she came to like and far from Charlie, someone she loved.

Hello new hyper focus and people. Hope ya'll like this shit.

Chapter 1: Extremist fixer

Chapter Text

When they’ve been teleported back Vaggie could only hear the loud rain outside. She thought that hell’s rain was pretty, because the sky was a dark shade of red, but whenever there was thunder, it quickly changed to horrifying. It was wrecking, destructive and just there to be a pain in the ass. Vaggie couldn’t help but flinch as the deafening sound of a lightning bolt suddenly came crashing.

Vaggie looked around the room, everyone in the room just staring at them. “Woah, you both look like shit,” Of course the first one to break the silence was Angel Dust, and she couldn’t help but glare at him. “I take the meeting wasn’t all smiles and laughs, huh?” Vaggie sighed and rubbed her face, not finding it within herself to respond to him, because who could if you saw your loved one, staring at you with a horrified expression, full betrayal on her face, and Vaggie was the cause of it.

Vaggie pulled herself from the ground, not even realizing that she was stupidly sitting there after being sucked into the place where her own kind left here to die. A place she found love at, but ruined it by shutting the fuck up. After all, the truth always gets above water.
Vaggie slowly turned around to face Charlie, her heart sinking as she does so. There stood Charlie, red horns, long claws, but what actually scared her was the red eyes that were staring at her, sucking up everything that Vaggie wanted to try and explain.
“Have you EVER even considered to tell me anything? Anything at all? I took you in, I helped you and you fucking lied to me all along?” Charlie snarled as she walked closer to Vaggie, but Vaggie stood there frozen. “I loved you, you know? I still do but how can I believe you after I fucking heard that, and it’s not even from YOU!”

“H-hey! Charlie calm down, we can talk later about all of this, it was long day.” Angel stood up quickly, realizing it was deeper than a shitty meeting, quickly walking over to Charlie to.. to what? Stop Charlie from harming her? Charlie almost never gets this mad, so she probably has a good reason to, so why was Angel even trying to stop her.

She hears Charlie growl, pushing Angel harshly away, Husker joining to try and stop her too before this gets out of hand. She watched them struggle to keep the blonde from getting closer to the one eyed girl.

This was all her fault.

“Fucking hell, why are you trying to fucking stop her?” Vaggie said, not even realizing she began talking because she still felt fucking frozen. Charlie stopped growling and stared at her, but that didn’t stop Vaggie. “Hasn’t it fucking occurred that she probably has a reason to be this mad?”
Angel stared at her with a confused expression, “The fuck are you talking abo-” Vaggie quickly cut him off, her ears ringing loudly and her body getting awfully cold. They deserved to know.

“I’m a murderer.”

Husk snorted, “Pfft, no shit, we aren’t in hell for nothing,” Before Husk continued Vaggie cut in, spilling ugly truth.
“I’m an angel,” Vaggie looked at the ground, feeling nauseous, “An exterminator, but was left here to-”

“How DARE YOU!” She looked up to see Angel looking at her, enraged. “I can’t believe people from heaven could be fucking WORSE then some of the heartless ANIMALS HERE. Man, I thought that I was a fucking slut, but here you are, fucking the princess of hell to probably get access to heaven, you fuck-”
“That’s enough, Angel.” Charlie interrupted, her voice having that demonic sound. This made him even more mad, opening his mouth, shouting something but Vaggie couldn’t understand. She looked at them arguing about her, probably about how much of a pain in the ass she is.
The ringing got louder.

“He’s right,” They stopped and looked at Vaggie, “Angels are heartless, worse than some of the people I met here. I was made to be a slaughter machine, but that doesn’t excuse what I did. Fuck, I encountered a fucking child and got punished for sparing him. I was left here to fucking die.”
The expression on Angel changed and looked like he wanted to say something but she kept going. “After I finally had the heart to spare someone, I had my wings ripped from me and have lost my fucking eye but I know that doesn’t fucking excuse my actions. I deserved it. That day though, I learned that some of the people here are ten times better than those who should’ve been better. And I’m fucking sorry,”

It all became too much, her body beginning to shake and her voice cracking, “so sorry that I didn’t have the guts to tell you what kind of asshole I was nor my actions but I swear I wanted to. I just wanted to.. restart.”
And with that she ran out of the hotel, into the harsh rain, her name was being shouted and from what she recognized it was Charlie’s voice. But Vaggie didn’t care, she continued running away, the same way she ran away from the fact that she still was an angel. But today that problem got to her, and it’s all her fault.
It’s okay, it’ll be okay, she won’t ever bother them again, she’ll just disappear or something. Maybe sacrifice herself so they’ll have mercy when the exterminators arrive.
Vaggie stopped running at that thought. She ended up somewhere in the forest, panting.

Vaggie felt exhausted and fell onto her knees.
Maybe, just maybe if she offered her soul, or whatever to the angels, they’ll have mercy on the hotel and the people in it. Maybe so the people she grew attached to, could forgive her.
Vaggie curled into a ball, and started crying. Why was she even crying? It was all her fucking fault, she brought it upon herself for keeping her mouth shut.
But it’s going to be okay. She’ll protect them, even if it’ll cost her soul.

Vaggie wiped her face with the back of her hand and stood up. The rain is cold, but it’s okay, everything will be okay.
With that thought she started walking, not really thinking about where because how was she even going to propose such a request when they left her here? She can’t even get into contact with them, how is she even going to..

Vaggie stopped, and quickly checked for her phone, crying out from relief when she felt it in her pocket from her skirt. She grabbed it and looked at the contacts, Charlie’s father appearing between the other contacts.
This was it, one press and she was a step closer to protecting the hotel.

Closer to forgiveness.

She pressed, and lifted her arm so the mobile was pressed against her ear. She waited, but it wasn’t being answered so she tried again, and again but threw the phone onto the ground after the third time and sighed.
Then she hear the phone ringing and she immediately grabbed the now all cracked phone and answered the call when she saw that it was Lucifer and was met with the familiar cheery voice.
“Hey, second daughter of mine!” Vaggie felt her eye burn at that and closed it. “Are you both girls back already? How’d it go?” She didn’t answer at that, she doesn’t have the guts to tell her lover’s father that everything was fucked into shit.

“Sweetheart?”

Vaggie answered in a shaky voice, “I need a favor,” she waited for a second, her throat burning. “I n-need to go back, I need to speak to them.” Her voice cracked at the end and couldn’t find it in herself to continue talking.
She hears the person on the line sigh, and then it was quiet for a second or then before she hear the sound of stuff moving.

“Where are you? I’m going to pick you up and then we’ll talk, alright?” Vaggie didn’t respond again, listening to the sounds she hears, this time a sound of a door opening and the sound of rain too.
“Vaggie, where are you?”

Vaggie responded, fucking finally, “I’m in the f-forest, down the hill where the h-hotel is located, a-and p-please don’t tell C-Charlie.” It took a couple of seconds before Lucifer responded.

“Okay, I’ll be there in 10 minutes, please be careful, it’s dangerous there.”
And with that Vaggie ended the call, and waited in the rain, thinking about how she’s going to convince Lucifer about the offer.

Thinking about what’s going to happen afterwards.
