Chapter Text
“Huh, easier than I thought..”
Currently, [Y/N] had the blonde, perverse chef pinned against the bar, his breathing labored and eyes lustful. She had her knee digging into his crotch, and one of her hands was firmly on his cheek, grabbing at his porcelain skin. Lightly, she caressed his face with her thumb, feeling the stubble of his beard against her soft skin. She felt the way he cowered under her touch, and smirked every time she sent shivers jumping through his nervous system. Sanji’s blue eyes were clouded with need, intense desire coursing through his veins.
“So, darling, tell me about yourself.”
Sanji’s eyes darted from her eyes to her lips, swallowing deeply. A red hue had taken over his entire face, and he was trembling slightly. ‘ Ah, he must not have much experience with women’ [Y/N] thought to herself. He stuttered like a rusty machine beneath her, tripping over his words. ‘ Gosh, where’s your bravado gone now, pretty boy?’
“Well, I’m uh. Chef for the straw hat pirates. Best cook in the east blue”
Tilting her head back, [Y/N] continued to study his features, pressing her knee into his crotch further, the friction making Sanji suck in a sharp breath, eyelids fluttering. He rolled his hips in a poor attempt to have more, to get something.
“Oh, is that so?”
[Y/N]s voice was low and inviting, waiting for the blond to continue. He sputtered once more, his mouth pursed into a thin line, nodding dumbly.
Leaning closer, [Y/N]s lips brushes against the shell of his ear, her body completely pressed into his. It fit nicely, almost as if they were destined to be this close. Her voice was no more above a whisper, the sultry tone sent shivers down Sanji’s spine. [Y/N] chuckled darkly, moving the hand that was previously pressed against the bar counter to his slim waist, giving it a firm squeeze, eliciting a small gasp from the cook.
“And what’s a big bad pirate crew like yours doing on this island, hm? Any plans?”
Sanji’s body tensed even further, and he had to suppress a whine at her teasing. He didn’t know what had gotten into him, but his mind was mushy with a desire for her. He needed her, this strange woman with a piercing gaze who he knew little to nothing about. God, how pathetic of him. Sanji knew it was strange, but a voice in the back of his head was telling him he had to respond, he had to tell her anything and everything. He had to give in to her.
“We were just docking for supplies, that’s all ma’am”
‘Ma’am? That's new.’ [Y/N] thought curiously. Sure, she’d been called it many times before. It had a nice ring to it. She enjoyed the rush of power she felt, it helped remind her of her position as a high ranking demon. Stepping back to give him more space, she simply hummed in response. Her hand was still firmly gripping his waist, and she let the other rest on her own hip. With a quick glance she could see how misty his eyes were, and how dazed he was.
Perfect.
“So darling, tell me. Are you here with anyone else?”
Of course she knew . She’d seen him enter with 6 other people, but hey. Why stop at one when she can have the whole crew in her palm. ‘ Not the small one though.’ [Y/N] thought absently, ‘He looks too young.’ She recalls seeing a smaller deer-racoon thing tagging along with the crew. With the way it seemed to be talking, she knew it had at least some form of conscience.
“O-oh i’m here with my uh- my crew.”
Her piercing gaze met his.
“And who’s on your crew, hm?”
It was all going so smoothly. She was about to get some form of intel from the chef. That was, until a short, black haired boy in a straw hat leaped half way across the bar to come and see them. From what she remembered, she could only guess that he was the captain. His hair was unruly and unkempt, a striking contrast to the man she had squirming beneath her. His clothes were ratty and torn, though they were complimented by the big smile on his face. She almost didn't notice the scar that adorned his cheek. She internally winced. ‘Nasty scar. Probably has something to do with a tragic backstory that all pirates seem to have.’
Sanji quickly straightened himself, coughing and running a hand through his hair. [Y/N] shuffled back a bit, in order to give the man space, and let this new person join in their conversation. Her hand was now no longer holding his waist, instead resting on her other hip. Sanji seemed to deflate at the lack of touch, though no one commented on it.
“Captain, uh. What do you need?”
As the captain started babbling on about who knows what, cogs started to turn in [Y/N]s head.
‘ Captain? So he’s the ringmaster, leader of the cook’s crew.'
[Y/N]s head tilted to the side, quirking her brow in thought.
‘Well he doesn't look like much. Eh. you can't judge out here. If he’s powerful then that's that.’
Her eyes rake over his scrawny figure once more. By now, the lively straw hat adorned guy has flicked his gaze over to her, now actually acknowledging her presence.
“Sanji! Who’s this?”
“Oh- well, this is-”
“[Y/N],” she cut him off sharply, extending her hand out, “and you might be?”
The boy reached his hand out, grabbing her palm (albeit rather tightly) and shook her hand. He seemed to visibly brighten, showing off a large grin.
“I’m Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm gonna be king of the pirates!”
‘Luffy, huh? Where have I heard that before..’
Covering her mouth with her hand, she chuckled at his enthusiasm.
“Well then, nice to meet you, future king of the pirates”
Luffy brightened once more, giggling to himself at the way [Y/N] played into his declaration. It was kind of cute, he was like an over-excitable puppy. She glances back over to Sanji, who’s still flustered and sweating, sitting awkwardly in his seat. He’s fidgety and looks like he's about 5 minutes away from passing out. His eyes are now focused on Luffy, and hold a specific warmth, something reserved for those closest to him.
How sweet. [Y/N] rolled her eyes.
She studied the boy even more. More namely, she studied his straw hat. She knew she’d seen it somewhere before, but wasn't sure where exactly. Maybe in the newspaper? They were pirates after all. Maybe they have a big bounty. It wouldn't surprise her, big name pirates come into the bar from time to time, often prattling on about how powerful and cool they were. To this, [Y/N] just has to nod along and feign interest. The more questions she asks, the more important they feel, so it's easier for her to get them under her belt.
She nearly gags anytime she thinks about that one pirate crew who came bounding through a few months back. Biggy, was it?? His greasy blue hair and tacky makeup nearly made her stop trying to pursue him altogether, as well as the annoying clown facade he chose to adorn. His crew was loud, and big. She couldn't possibly keep them all. Instead, she chose the ones who stood out the most. If the biggest and baddest pirates that ran that crew decided to follow her, she was sure that the rest would follow suit. After a few weeks they parted ways, the blue clown declaring he would find the one piece (like most sailors that set out on the ocean), and [Y/N] shed a few crocodile tears and bid them goodbye. Sometimes she catches herself wondering what they're up to. No use thinking too hard about it now, he’s moved onto bigger things, and she keeps finding new assets.
Snapping out of her haze, [Y/N] drew her attention back to the two pirates at hand. She knows deep down she's seen him before. From the corner of her eye, she notices the green haired one, who's on his sixth drink (impressive if you ask her) staring her down. His three swords are firmly pressed to his side, neatly tucked in their sheaths. She guesses he’s also a part of whatever rag-tag group they have.
‘Gosh, protective much?’
Gently peeling her hand away from Luffys, [Y/N] takes a step back. She points her index at him, her sharp, almost claw like nails adding to her feminine charm. Tilting her head back with a smirk, she adjusts her posture. She’s a lot taller than him, by maybe about a couple inches.
“So, you’re the captain, I'm assuming?”
To this he looks prideful, starting to ramble about the intense adventures they’d been on before this, his hands gesturing wildly in every direction as he recounted the journey to the island. He shared his thoughts on the locals, which made [Y/N] laugh. It had been so long since new people had docked, she forgot how silly they could be. She hadn’t gotten to them yet.
‘Well, not all of them at least .’
Her gaze flicks to Sanji once more, who seems to slowly be coming out of his clouded haze. A frown tugs at [Y/N]s lips. It seems some effects are wearing off, she must've not sunk her claws in deep enough.
‘ No matter. I have as much time as I want to play around with these foolish pirates’
“Hey, freaky lady!”
The sudden address towards her almost made her double over coughing at how sudden and out of the blue it was. This made Sanji perk up, his face contorting in frustration.
“Luffy! That's no way to refer to a lady! She already told you her name”
‘ Freaky lady? That’s a new one i haven’t heard before’
Before Sanji could keep berating him, [Y/N] waved her hands in dismissal, laughing lightly. Sanji’s head snapped towards her melodic giggles, still frustrated with how his captain had addressed her.
“No no, Sanji, it's quite alright.”
Covering her hand with her mouth, she turned back to the captain, his bubbly demeanor showing he really did not understand where he went wrong.
“So Luffy, what do you need?”
[Y/N] tilts her head to the side, a soft smile gracing her lips. The straw hatted boy's stomach let out a low growl as if on cue. He frowned, his brows furrowing. Throwing his head back, Luffy crossed his arms.
“Does this bar have any meat? I’m starving!”
‘ Ah, so that’s why he came this way.’ [Y/N] distantly thought. Whilst yes, the bar did offer limited food, prices were awful in these parts. If she didn’t get free drinks and meals, she’d surely be broke.
‘ Maybe I can swing them a free meal. It’ll sure get me praise points, may as well have a head start of getting into their good books.’
“Yeah, you just have to order at the bar”
Clasping her hands together, [Y/N] rolls her shoulders, smiling widely.
“Say, I'll go to the back and see if I can get you something on the house, how does that sound?”
At the mention of free food, Luffy instantly brightened even more (if that could even be possible). Nodding his head aggressively, the black-haired boy bounded up to the bar, already ordering most of their menu.
‘ He sure is hungry.’
Shaking her head quickly, she gave a quick wink to Sanji, which brought back the red hue on his cheeks from earlier. With that, she turned swiftly on her heels towards the door that led into the back of the bar. The owners had given her a key, saying she could spend as much time there as she pleased, (she chooses to ignore how a lot of questionable activities have taken place there).
The rusty oak doors lock open with a click, and she slinks inside, making sure to turn the safety latch once in. Some customers get rowdy, and [Y/N] would prefer if none of them disturbed her alone time.
Making a bee-line for the desk, she instantly spots a pile of papers. Most are stained and worn, showing lack of care from where they’ve been thrown onto the mudded ground by messenger gulls. She starts flicking through the pages of each. [Y/N] had no idea what she was looking for, but a sneaking suspicion in her gut tells her that she’ll get more information about the odd straw hat boy from here.
[Y/N] never really looked at the news. Sure, sometimes it was interesting. A scandal here, a fallen country there. At times she dreamt about sailing the seas, experiencing life and discovering the endless possibilities that could be presented to her. The only issue was never anyone interesting or competent enough that she was willing to tag along with. Countless sailors, both marines and pirates alike had begged her to join them, to come sailing the seas with their group, but none of them ever compelled her enough. She’d always make up some bullshit excuse that this place needed her and she couldn't possibly leave her home (that wasn't fully a lie, everyone here was under her control, so yes, they felt as though they needed her like they needed oxygen).
Something about Luffy was different though, and it wasn't just because she found him and his cook cute. No, they had potential. Potential to be something big. Something in her soul could feel it.
[Y/N]’s hand hovered over the newest copy of the newsletter had been delivered by the news coo early yesterday morning. It was still fresh, barely touched. There were no creases, and the corners hadn't been torn to dog-eared shreds just yet. She flicked through the pages. Story after story, useless blabber filled the pages. That was, until she’d stumbled upon them. The newest released bounties.
Monkey D. Luffy- 100 million
Roronoa Zoro- 60 million.
Wanted dead or alive.
A sly smirk crept onto her face, her pointed canines exposed as she licked her lips.
These pirates are going to be fun.
