Chapter Text
Test Tube stretched as she exited her room, ready to start her day. The hallways buzzed with the sound of soft early morning conversation, and the air had the scent of fresh citrus air freshener.
She entered the kitchen and took her designated mug from the neatly organized cabinet to start making her morning coffee. As she stirred in the sugar and creamer, she took note of the sparkling clean countertops and neatly stacked dishes.
Once she had finished her drink, she went and sat down next to Fan on the couch, who was already working on his blog.
“Good morning sweetheart,” She said, planting a gentle kiss on his cheek, “How’s the blog going?”
“Oh just great! The fans are eating this story up!” He said enthusiastically, “And don’t worry, I left the part where we hid in a bush for several hours out of it.”
Test Tube giggled, “I’m just happy everything worked out for us.”
As she sat there watching Fan type responses to comments on his blog, she felt someone sit down next to her. She looked up to see that it was none other than Pepper.
“Oh, hey Pepper,” she greeted, shifting her body to face her, “How are things going?” It was a general question, but they both knew exactly what the “things” were.
Pepper let out a sigh,”Not as bad as I thought actually. She actually ended up apologizing to me first, and we were able to talk it out.”
“Oh that’s great!” Test Tube said, pulling her into a hug, “I’m happy for you!”
Pepper hugged her back with a smile, “I honestly don’t think I could have even faced her without your encouragement, so thank you.”
All three of them sat on the couch, conversing about stuff at random, when they all noticed at once two people emerging from the hallway, those people being Paper and Oj.
It was much past their normal time of getting up, and they walked quite close to each other. They couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but it was pretty obvious they were flirting.
“Well, it looks like they really made up.” Pepper remarked as they walked by.
“If it means no more of my lab equipment will get broken, then I hope they stay like this.”
