    Summary

“I mean that Mr. Bowery from Sterling House Records offered me a recording contract in London,” Nathaniel replied, leaning on the edge of the bathroom counter.

    “Good. When are you leaving?”

Nathaniel barked out an incredulous laugh, the noise rusty from disuse. “Andrew, I turned him down.”

“Be serious,” Andrew replied calmly, a dangerous edge skirting in his voice.

“I am serious,” Nathaniel frowned. “Do you really think I would be allowed to leave?”

    ---

Nathaniel has to search the room for an empty seat.

“The end,” Andrew said, a faint mocking tone.

A gleam came to Kevin’s eye.

“I like it,” Neil said, and Andrew turned his glare on him.

“Shouldn’t you get into that recording booth?” Andrew shoved Neil up and off the couch.

“Take it from the top,” Kevin instructed, shoving his headphones on his ears. Neil glanced back at Andrew, as he moved across the room.

“I’ll be here,” Andrew promised. “Always.”
