Summary
It was days after Izuku Midoriya's 4th birthday when his dreams were shattered. When a person's only dream was to become a hero, one word could destroy those dreams before they even begun. Quirkless. It wasn't until years later, when protecting another kid, that Izuku Midoriya first activated his 'Quirk'. Manipulating the air around him, he managed to defend the younger kid, and push back the bullies.
Ochako Uraraka grew up wanting to help her parents with their construction company, Uraraka Construction. Her quirk, Zero Gravity, would have been perfect for reducing costs and equipment usage. Instead, her parents encouraged her to chase her dream of being a Rescue Hero like Space Hero: Thirteen. During a trip into Musutafu with her parents, she ends up saving a man from being crushed before Heroes could arrive on scene, catching the eye of one specific hero.
OR
Izuku believes he is quirkless most of his life, before suddenly activating a 'quirk'. Ochako saves a man after they've been crushed in a car accident and is offered an opportunity of a lifetime.
